Nice Guide. One thing is you got the good animation mixed up. the head shake is 15%, ear flap is 35% and trunk swing is 50%

Saw them randomly spawn in a singleplayer game and I didnt remember having them. How cool, the animations and taming uniqueness are very very copl
I saw multiple people having a problem with the sniffing animation , after doing some research you have to set your game to english for it to work.
If your playing multiplayer the server itself has to have the language set to english too.
I would recommend covering dryptosaurus (razor tooth) from the animals of atlas mod.

Anyone else get stuck in buffering hell for this one? Edit, IT FINALLY WORKED FOR ME! Final edit. Apparently it only works if it's one specific link. I can't open it from youtube suggestions, or Arkraktor's channel, but the link from another video he did led me here. Now it works from my history. RUclips's drunker than these elephants.

weird, why do all deinotheriums in my sp server does the sniffing but nrver the defensive stance on approach despite me being level 105 already.. can't seem to tame any rn
I like your guide but I have tried many times where it shows 2 of those all the time, never all 3 and when I try to approach, either very close or far away from me, it keeps attacking me

Are you the right lvl? Did you use the beer jars in your last hotbar slot?

@@Arkraktor im lvl 140 and i have beer on the last slot, today i try it again and this didn't work again and im on foot not on dino

wait so you need to be lvl 95 to passive tame them, or you can tame them below it but you cant have the saddle yet?
You need to be lvl 95 in order to tame tame them

So it has to Do 3 safe Animations on a row so that u can give it the beer ?
And if it does for example 2 safe but one bad one u cannot approach it
Or how exactly does that work
If id plays two of the safe animations. But the 3rd one is one it already used just walk in and take your chance.
If it performs any of the Bad animations walk away.

Ok so heres the problem, there was one that Fell down a Cliffhanger and hot seperated by the Herd, i approached it and it just Stared at Mr not doing any Animation, what exactly did i Do wrong ?
It wasnt sniffing the Environment either, it just walked around, what do i have to Do in order to make it sniff

@@Arkraktor i testen, so it does like fold its ears back ,or put the trunk to the side but what it doesnt Do is the headshake Animation, earflap and all that even tho i killed all the Herd members and went out of render
What do they farm mainly?
Berries
Fiber
And Meat
The main problem with Ark Additions when it comes to PvE I dont see any use for their admittedly cool creatures :( They are like solutions in need for a problem or something like that.
Deinosuchus: Way better sarco/ land and water mount.
Xiph: fast and good for Moeder
Brachi: harvester and Savage acro fighter
Acro: good for osd, brutes
Deinotherium: Boss fighter, brute fighter
Helicprion: literally only good for loot n stuff
Archelon:........ Bio toxin
Cerato: amazing mid sized dino for travelling and fighting
@@Arkraktor Right I kinda got their intended uses but none of these areas were ever an issue and always had very good dinos for the role. Wyverns are good for traveling and fighting, I dont need cerato it can't even fly. Or climb/glide like Rock Drakes if the map does not allow flying. Shadowmanes are awsome land/water mount I dont need no deinosuchus. Boss fights... between tek rexes, shadowmanes and niche ones like giant sloths, they were never an issue either with possible exception of certains maps I havent completed yet. Add to that the fact that taming for most of these is ridiculous and they lose their appeal very fast to me. But who knows Im currently playing with AA, I will try at least some of them out and maybe I will change my mind.

But the whole point of addition mods is.
To have creatures either filling a role that's not taken by a vanilla creature,
Or to expand already Existing roles.
