All of Imogen's songs seem to have a very healing quality (including those from Frou Frou). If ever I feel depressed or am lacking creativity, I guarantee that any one of her tracks will inspire a change in one or the other or, usually, both. Couldn't have said it better myself, even subconsciously, I am pulled back to Imogen when I'm in need of a creative outlet or to generally feel better.
I realize everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I just don't understand: how can someone NOT like this? This woman is a gift to the world. Her music is exciting and ethereal at the same time, not generic and disposable like so much that is already out there. If Immy were to read the dictionary and record it, I would GLADLY buy that. I have this album, and it's amazing! I've listened to it at least five times in the week that I've had it. If someone out there hasn't gotten it yet, then by God, what are you waiting for?

ZacAttackk It's so refreshing to see a woman, showcasing her talent! instead of her body. I love her dance moves and totally get her style, love it! The tune is so catchy and as a woman I can identify with the lyrics...GREAT!!!!!! ;D

This is one of THE most perfect pop songs ever crafted, Imogen Heap just so insanely talented its such a shame she doesn't get more recognition from the normal people (because a lot of musicians from all genres already love her).

The second part to this song is ridiculously amazing... the transition from one tempo to the other, with such sneaky poly-rhythmic subtleties... finishing with such a broader dynamic than what it carried throughout the beginning of the track... just so CAREFULLY written and composed. I love you, Imogen.
Really digging the last minute of this song. And I love the big dude, dancing into the frame at 4:23 then just getting his groove on the rest of the song.
Amateurish? You don't know what the hell you're talking about. This is the best thing she's done in ages. And there was a time we couldn't wait to see a real-world portrayal of our beloved pop stars as humans in something that approximates daily life -- not glitz and paparazzi bullshit! Go Imogen!

I'm just realizing she's just a free spirit gal. This is the first time I've seen her mv. I love this song and how she was just a happy and free gal... Dancing and jumping on her bed. This is how we should all look at life. I love her character!!!

As somebody who lived in NYC for a time, seen somebody dance in public is about as strange as seeing somebody taking their dog for a walk by NYC standards.
@@FIDEL_CASHFLOW_ Yeah I was wondering this, very few people looked at her considering, which i thought was strange, even the people on the subway. I thought they were hired actors at one point. I didn't know this was the NYC vibe, haha. And whats the deal with public videos, do they need to ask for permission to have them on video?
@@maelgwni my brother has his SAG card and I actually asked him this one time. I could be getting a few minor details wrong but this is what he told me. He said when it comes to filming public things like this, you have no reasonable expectation to privacy when you're out in public so permission is not needed to film you. However, when it comes to Media like music videos, TV shows, and movies, the exception is "any reasonable amount of engagement", AKA the camera is focused on somebody for an extended period of time or members of the TV show / movie / music video interact with the person in any way, shape, or form beyond simply passing them. They would have to sign a release waiver.
So if I am correct in my recollection of what he told me, then people on the street passing her would not need waivers but those people she danced with would have to sign waivers.
Watching this as a New Yorker a year into the pandemic and really appreciating how you captured all that is great about NYC here: the street musicians, parks, architecture, high but purposeful energy, and quirky sense of community. We all miss it and hope we can get back to it someday soon💕

Confidence is sexy, Talent is sexy, and she really is all three. Dunno why she couldnt have shot the video in England but it was great nonetheless. She is quite possibly the sixth most talented electronic sequencer-producer Ive ever heard, based on the strength of Sparks and Hide and Seek. Its just phenomenal, Im addicted and in love. Some say Im a musical 'genius', to be honest I think that word is overused. But she actually Is one. Her analytical attention to detail is just something else. She has made at least two songs that I would call timeless classics - Entanglement and Hide and Seek... possibly more. She writes great lyrics. She sequences great tracks. She writes great songs overall. She does it all herself. What a woman. Fuck Beyonce Knowles, THIS is a female role model.
