Kenna this is genius, I have breakout issues every time I use sunscreen in the summertime and I'm going to start doing this. Especially when I'm down the shore!!!
@@KennaWhitnellI had to come back to tell you, this WORKED!!!! I was at the beach for a week, and each time I reapplied my face sunscreen I used a micellar makeup wipe very gently beforehand to get all the old stuff off. Kenna, my skin looked amazing the entire week. Thank you!!!!
The micellar water/wipes is such a great tip, I've been feeling icky about re-applying my sunscreen for this exact reason, I always feel that it's just putting more stuff on a dirty canvas and it's clogging my face and making it break out. I'll definitely get some micellar water of biodegradable wipes if I find some :)))
I really like the Haruharu spf. I’m on my second tube of it now. It will probably become my staple sunscreen 😊 In my opinion…nothing beats Asian sunscreens. Western sunscreens don’t even come close to the comfort level of an Asian sunscreen. I wish the USA would freaking update their sunscreen filter regulations
Good to know about the 2-3 minute tip. I’ve also wondered why my pores seem to still be clogging when I’m doing all I can. I enjoy oil cleansers, it feels sort of luxurious.
Thank you so much Kenna this was exactly what I needed! I break out in the summer because I sweat more than I would in the other seasons I think and my sunscreen doesn't break me out as much during colder months.
Thank you so much for all these helpful tips!! I was hoping you would cover what to do if you do wear makeup & will spending the day outdoors. Can you even reapply spf over makeup??
Hi Kenna, thank you. I have the hardest time with sunscreen. It turns my old skin white and makes my eyes look pink or red. I am almost 68 and it shows.
Definitely would recommend trying out the Haruharu wonder spf I show in the video. It won’t leave white cast which will help with both issues you’re having!
Thanks for tip on using oil cleanser. Do you apply the oil cleanser for 2-3 minutes for the “gritting”? Where little grits form? Or is it to really break down the sunscreen?
Hi, love the video:) this might be a really dumb question but when you say don't put it on on top of anything (I don't wear makeup but I still seem to get a few breakouts) does that include moisturiser? Should I be putting sun cream on before moisturiser?
You should always apply sunscreen after your moisturizer, I think what she meant is that during the day we sweat, there's pollution,... so many micro particules get stuck on our face on top of the moisturizer. Applying sunscreen over this is kind of like applying a shining agent on a dusty table without getting rid of the dust first. Or rincing dirty dishes with water and letting it dry without using soap to wash it properly, the dirt is still there. I hope it makes sens, english isn't my first language but what I mean is really that you need to get rid of the layer of "dirt" that accumulated since you first applied sunscreen, before applying again :)
Hello Kenna! I was wondering if you could do a video on Augustinus Bader cosmetics? They are quite trendy now and quite expensive too. Could you look at the ingredients list for us?

@@Marie-jz1qw that made great sense! Thankyou:)))
With a lot of sunscreens you don't need a moisturiser underneath
isnt it to much washing of the face?
