I use jojoba, sweet almond, vitamin e, and aloe vera gel mixed in a cocktail. Sometimes I wear it at night as well as the day.
My nose and chin no longer peel from dryness. My oily skin is balanced. My trick to keeping balance is changing my skincare routine as my face needs it. It sounds crazy but it works for me.
I also use lactid acid at night. I have to customize my morning and evening routine to what my face needs at that given time.
I am glad that I enjoy skincare. If I didn't, I would have lost my mind by now. Thank you for these fantastic videos. We appreciate it very much.

If you go to the FAQ page on the Ordinary website and go to number 15, they have a contact form. There are three options and the first one is "What Products Should I Use?". You can fill out your skin concerns (oily, acne, redness, etc) and any allergies/sensitivities you have and someone will create a regiment for you. I created one myself based on their regimen guide and then requested a regiment from them. My list was almost the same save for one product. They tell you the order of use too is you struggle with that. It was very fast too. You'll get an email the same day that confirms that your request was sent and then the next day (maybe two but it was one for me) they will send you the regiment. Hope that helps. Obviously not the same thing as Kenna explaining the ingredients and everything but I found it really helpful

Question: it seems like all commonly used ingredients in skincare decrease the amount of melanin in skin, like retinoic acid, ascorbic acid, licorice, niacinamide, sunscreen. Is that really good when all ingredients you use decrease the amount of melanin? Wouldn't it be more beneficial when ingredients stimulate melanin production, combined with using a sunscreen daily? Melanin may only provide an SPF3, but it does decrease UV radiation by 50% without degradation or sweating it off, it has an antioxidant benefit and very pale skin is more prone to UV damage.

“Leave ACV out of skincare.” 😳 Oops 😂 I’ve been using it (DILUTED THOUGH OMG) as my toner after cleansing, morning and night, since your video on PH testing products and you recommended the skin be more acidic to balance oiliness and acne problems. My whole routine has been absolutely saving my skin! I’ve had horrible skin (constant acne and possible rosacea) since I was pregnant with my daughter in 2009. I suspect she did a number & changed my hormones dramatically 😂. Now, since figuring out my routine with your help, I only have breakouts during my hormonal time of the month and the redness (possible rosacea) has calmed down a TON. I have been so excited every time you mention & recommend a product I have been using because none of us (without scientific education) really know if our stuff works or if it’s a waste of time/money.

I noticed in one part of the video you said you use Cerave foaming cleanser on your body because it is "properly PH balanced" And then a little bit later you stated that the skin is slightly acidic and to make sure skincare products (I.e., moisturizers) are around 5.5. Does that mean Cerave foaming cleanser is a good cleanser for the face? I love this cleanser and just want to make sure it's okay. By "properly ph balanced" do you mean it is at that 5.5 range?
Also I wish I could afford to use this cleanser as a body wash lol. Its quite expensive but I love how it foams but doesn't strip. Does anyone have a body wash recommendation that is formulated like the Cerave foaming cleanser?

I have the same dilemma, using a soap bar with charcoal. I know it's not good for the skin because it's alkaline but I have a way better texture with it than with pH balanced cleansers. Fyi: If a soap has more oils than lye (alkaline solution) it's re-greasing/moisturizing. So the skin doesn't feel as stripped and dry. Chagrin Valley for example has soaps with 20% more oils. Liked them very much for my hair before I dyed them :D.

What type of honey should be used for honey masks? Is any honey bought at the local grocery store okay or should it be raw honey?? I guess I'm curious about how the sugar would affect the skin.

I found rosehip oil worked well with my skin when applied as the last step in my night time routine in the cooler months. As soon as summer came my face didn't like it though lol my face doesn't like the heat. I ended up having to switch to the hemi squalane during the summer.

Beautiful ring!! I like your hair up, it's cute don't stress 😍 I love seeing beautiful women promote how smart they are I hate when I see beauty gurus play like they're stupid when they have millions of subscribers you can't be stupid if you're that successful come on now but I really like that you are showing young people and women in general that smart intelligent women can also be beautiful

Even the most "suited" face oil breaks me out after a few days of using it nightly. I also do not use single ingredient oil u find in your damn kitchen. I use high quality ones, and even then breakouts.

Kenna I’ve heard that lip balms are made with products that actually dry out your lips to keep you buying them. Is that true?

Nadine Baggot has a video on this topic. It is not all balms but I seem to rember ones with mint or menthol being bad (I must rewatch)

I have a very oily skin and I struggle with keeping it at bay. Once I clean my face with a regular cleanser and put some moisturizer on, makeup ecc, my forehead (same thing with my hair) would be oily already within a couple of minutes. I only use a skin tint and some powder, no heavy makeup but somehow it just never works. I've tried so many things. I also know that my mother had the same problem when she was young, always oily so there are probably genes involved. I wonder if there is something I can do myself and avoid going to the doctor. People usually have dry skin and I feel like us with oily skin don't know what to do most of the times because there isn't enough information about it.

Can you recommend any anti-aging products to help with fine lines that do not contain retinol? I found that it made my dry eye issues far worse and I developed MGD (blockage of oil glands in the eyes). My dry eye issues improved drastically once I stopped using retinol but now I'm worried about the fine lines getting worse.

Is rosehip oil really bad for oily skin? I'm pretty sure it's alright . I've been using it for a long time now and it's been great . From what I know it contains mostly linoleic acid so it should be fine ? Rosehip oil is not heavy.
