stunning car! Amazing quality 3D parts, credit to you Jason! Just love the generosity of the RC community! All the best Keith, hope you get well soon, sounds like you have a cold.
Great idea to go that extra mile to print those parts that are just impossible to find. Definitely will be making lots of people very happy. By the way those Tins I have a bunch myself but I get them when my girl gets her inhaler haha.i don't use them as stands but I use them for holding screws or parts as I do a build or a tear down they come in so handy. Another great vid
Sweet buggy and very cool printed parts! The prints looked super nice! I figured he built you a runner chassis to go beat up on the track but he sent you another display ready car! LOL!
I would like to know how the kit performs. All I have seen is just physically assembling. Jason wouldn't actually run it on the backyard track, its too valuable hahahhaha. I beat my TT02 up back there, but this PLA +8 kit needs a real world test
Nice work with those printed parts. I 3D modelled my 201 quite a few years back in AutoCAD of all things. I only ever drew up the standard parts though. Drawing the front top plate thing was an adventure let me tell you.
In order to make the kit I did have to model the chassis so I had all the mount points accurate. That also allowed me to design the kit from scratch by matching the chassis lines and mount points.
That’s a really nice 201 Jason has made. You know what would be the ultimate finishing touch?.. one of the team azarashi shells that Glenn has on his. That is still one if the nicest looking cars I have seen.may be tricky to find but well worth it.
Next project.. carbon chassis for 201!?., That would be amazing I believe the team drivers started with a carbon chassis on the 201xm prototype . Maybe you are the man to make it happen !
I chose a PLA that closely matched the tamiya blue. Some day I hope we will reach a point I could print parts like this in metal. Jason could then Anodize it blue. That would be cool
That certainly looks like a solid "plus eight" parts kit! Thanks for the video

Thats sweet, i need to pull my finger out and get my vega chassis 201 back to a rear motor 201. And i’ll deffo be looking at adding this +8 kit 👍

Oh, it is a runner! Lol
Definitely have it as a runner- test the durability of the printed part and you have the strength of the front end conversion.

Cool looking car can’t wait to see it on the track
I wish Jason all the best with his 3D printed parts
That’s awesome of Jason to do that.
Awesome video! Wow that 201 is stunning!! Also great job Jason on those 3D printed parts, the fit and finish looks amazing!👍👍
WOW!!! Respect, beautiful!
Nice, I got a few of the aluminum ones still! Really helps these buggies

Very nice
That is so cool i thought that the +8 was blue aluminium until you brought the car close to the camera 😅😅

@@ThreadingReality i dont think, that the technology is far away from becoming a reality
Very cool.
