You don't make it like that you fry it on it own fat in small pieces in cast iron pot put lemon vinegar to clean the meat then put baking soda for 15 minutes then was it extremely good then put a cast iron to warm put chicharrones inside in small pieces add salt too to meat before cooking it the best and pesticides free

Thanks! I will try the low temperature at 200 for an hour and then high heat later. I did once at 350 right away after boiling and drying and it was exploding everywhere. Your method looks very clean.
its interesting to think, of all the things the whole world shares for the most part, its pork belly, the british with pork scratchlings/pork crackling, mexico with chicharrone and don't even get me started on all the delicious asian pork belly dishes too, so much to choose from, soo much to try
I made chicharrón a month ago and turned out excellent I follow the first step and after dry them with paper towels I put them in my fryer no lard no nothing 400 degrees for about 8 to 20 mins .
