Apparently this was done on or close to closing night in NYC. This clearly isn’t Sandra Church, but her replacement. There are other bits (Rose’s Turn) from this full recording on RUclips that have been restored VERY well. Just about all of the hissing sounds were eliminated. It’s amazing. Check it out. I I wish the guy would restore the whole thing and release it on cd. I worked for a bit with jack klugman years ago. He told me that the giants of show business would come back to see her in total awe. He recalled: Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, Garland, etc..even Igor Stravinsky (who came back again to see it) all would come backstage, jaws dropped saying, “what the hell...and how the hell did you just do that!”
Hum. Much prefer the Natalie Wood version and those of other stage actreses. Julienne sounds like a 10 year old with a speech impediment. And you barely know this is supposed to be a fight. Not sure I've ever her the OG Sandra do this.
