San Onofre Longboarding Greats 2020

In August of 2020, Southern California had been on a surf drought that pretty much lasted 30 days. On the first sign of a bump in swell, I was ready to find some surf. I decided to head south to one of the most iconic longboarding surf spots in the world, San Onofre, California. I brought my camera and my board. To my luck, two of the most exciting longboarders in the world were there that day doing their thing. Their names? Tommy Witt and Bucky Barry. Aside from Tommy and Bucky there was quite an array of great longboarders out there. Including Barret Miller, Blake Michaels, Ben Cardoso, Nathan Strom and Makala Smith. San Onofre never disappoints!
