LogJam 2018 Retro Longboarding Event

Classic longboarding competition to the fullest degree. One of a kind event! Nowhere in the world it would be possible to run an event of this nature with this level of participation. I say this because you can only enter the contest if you have a longboard made before 1969 and there was plenty of them logs. Average board was 50 years old. Heat format was very interesting. 6 surfer heats during first rounds with mixed category competitors within each heat. Surfers competed in 2 heats and then their scores were tallied and lined with competitors of their respective categories. Later rounds were by category. This format is very special as it gives the opportunity for surfers of different levels to interact and share waves within their heats.
Oh and no leashes allowed!
