I hope your videos inspire people to “visit” all the outdoor attraction the Treasure Coast has to offer. Just don’t move here! There’s gators. Everywhere. Lizards. Mosquitoes the size of your hand. yep, I think with the Treasure Coast you have to get out and linger, because much of the view from A1A is blocked where you really cant see the water scenery for the most part

Thanks for the good info amd beautiful aerial footage. Handicap walkovers for beach goers is a must for people with mobility issues. Not only for wheelchairs, but for more steady walking for people with canes or difficulty walking.

I'm torn between the Brevard County area or the SWFL area...
Yea thats a tough choice. More beaches in Brevard Co, although nicer beaches in SW Florida
@@TampaAerialMedia we enjoy the Space Coast due to less tourists and the availability to find places to easily park by the beaches. Our go to places are N and S of the 404.
We do love the SWFL area as well. We really do not have a go to place in SWFL.
if you like overcrowded beaches go SWFL. Im buying in Brevard country next year.

I've lived in Fort Pierce and St Lucie County for the past 32 years. You did a great job on this video. Makes we want to go visit some places I haven't been to in awhile...lol. We live near the Savanna Recreation Area and ride bikes there a couple of times a week. FYI...the restaurant is Square Grouper not Super Grouper....Great job!

People visiting make sure if you want commercialized beaches with restaurants hotels all right on the beach Vero Beach fort Pierce area is not for you. Except for a few exceptions beaches are pretty much residential. So if you're looking for a nice quiet beaches where everyone leaves you alone this is the place. If you're looking for commercialized restaurants and bars right on the beach I would say stay further north in Cocoa Beach or down in fort Lauderdale for that type of beach experience

Wife and I have just recently moved to Fort Pierce because we fell in love with the area. Blind Creek is probably our favorite beach with some of the most friendliest people we have ever met while on a beach. Loved the video and plan on doing some more exploring.

Beautiful video, but as a resident I'm cringing at how many MORE people our island can hold. The housing market is absolutely insane and most of us natives are being priced out of our homes with the influx of northerners.

Thank you so much for doing this video. It brought back so many memories. In 1970-1971 the company my husband worked for transferred him to their new project in Florida, the St. Lucie power plant. He worked on job site as a draftsman. He, our baby daughter and I lived in Port St. Lucie while we were there. Unfortunately we were only there 2 yrs. and he was transferred back up north where we were from. So we never got to see the power plant completed. Even though it was a short glimpse of the power plant in your video, it was great to see it completed. My husband has now passed but he would have loved to have seen it too. I was so happy to see that the Ft. Pierce/Port St. Lucie area has stayed a less populated and very welcoming area of Florida to live in. I do miss living there. It was a short time but brought great memories! My friend and I love watching all your videos and especially miss Bella! Keep up the good work; you may never know how many more like me you bless with them!

Here is my review of vero beach after a year, nice crime free area, nice people, sams club, and plenty of water and boating opportunities.
Things to take into consideration, rentals of any kind are very rare, and have bidding wars for rentals, and the rentals are expensive 2k and up for apartments, houses 3.5k.
If you want to buy a home that's easier about 10% of the homes are up for sale.
Now the population boom is not supported by the infrastructure, grocery stores and hospitals, doctors , and any other services are overwhelmed, I'm guessing this will all be fixed in the next 7 years of building out infrastructure.
Sébastien is by far a more relaxing city than vero beach if you are looking for a more laid back experience, and nicer homes.
Finally winter time is wonderful however the warm weather and humidity only bother some, but I can't stress how much you should understand your personal adaptation to the Humidity.
Other than that vero beach has very good restaurants, and friendly police, one last thing I believe their are more transplants than locals.
Last important thing, vero beach is full of rental scams, they will say its a hot rental market so if you want to reserve this house or apartment we need first and last month's rent $6000 , and you get the keys in 2 weeks when the tenant moves out. They tried this on me, another did a fake background check had me send them $50 !and disappeared. So beware of this.

We've been to Vero several times and wish that we had bought a place there instead of Fort Pierce... too much crime for us in Fort Pierce we never feel safe

The best thing I did was leave this city its nothing to do boring no jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach which is next Miami and Hollywood Beach the night life is amazing and its always some were to go and enjoy yourself

Another excellent video. We’re making FL our home in the future and your latest FL series certainly excites us for our move and reveals areas we will visit. Also, you’ve highlighted some of our already favorite areas. Question: I often see you on a bike. Do you travel with it or rent in the areas you visit? I’m buying a build to do similar types of riding. If that’s your bike what brand and model is it. It looks perfect for commuting, getting off road when necessary, etc. Thanks and my compliments for your excellent productions.
I bring my bike with me, its a Specialized Rock Hopper, its about $700-$800. I find thats about the price range to get a good durable bike, you can easily go way above that price range, but I think the improvements are very minimal. Would highly reccomend this bike.

Wife and I bought a condo in Fort Pierce ... wish we had chosen either Vero or way south in St Lucie County.. just too much crime for us... an old guy was shot to death just down the street from us last month

My family has owned a home in FP since 1992, have never had an issue. Yes there are some places you need to be careful.
@@rainmaker3700 if only criminals and murderers didnt travel. It spills over into the whole community. I moved away from vero, shooting in taco bell parking lot, bp gas station, officer onvolved at walmart. All 3 businesses i frequented.. Nope ya'll can have the treasure coast.

The coastal area are great, but some of the inland areas are old and rundown

South Beach Park in Vero Beach is very very nice. Round Beach just south of that is much quieter both are not commercialized no restaurants and bars. Probably the clearest water would be over in fort Pierce at inlet State Park right off of the jetty

Yes, we have gators and crocs here
yes they are everywhere. it is very preserved here. however we do lots of kayaking and they don't bother us, we see them.

@@shenoyglobal yes you can. We do all the time but keep in mind that the alligators live there, it's their home. Plenty of sharks in the ocean and indian river too. You just have to be aware.

I'm sitting here wondering , how many people that saw this really know Fort Pierce. The poverty. The run-down , holy s*** how is this even America ghettos anywhere west of US1. There's a reason homes sell for say 200,250k here and well over half a million in Martin County.
