We just came back from Anna Maria Island and my husband discovered Cheesecake cutie and cafe when he went to find some coffee. He brought us some very delicious cheesecake. My sis in law and I decided to go there for breakfast the next day and we were very impressed. From the decor to the friendly staff, we left very happy and full. Definitely stop by the cheesecake cutie and cafe!
Just returned home from this beach. I’m a Gulf Coast freak and never been past the panhandle where the water is clear emerald green, but Santa Maria has ice blue water. GORGEOUS!!

Bought a condo in Bradenton last year, just a short car ride to AMI and the best beaches in the world. We spend 6 months a year here. This is our backyard playground and we love it!
I visited here a year ago. It's beautiful but like everywhere else, so congested. Every square inch of space is built on and commercialized. I always thought I wanted to eventually move to FL, but it's just claustrophobic feeling. We took so many huge highways to get to this Island. It mucks up the natural beauty of it all.
Just got back from Anna Maria Island today. Spent the week between Christmas and New Year's there. Been here several times before. I would love to live here one day. Absolutely heaven on earth here!!!

My family vacationed there in July of 2020. It was fabulous and relaxing. The beach was clean and beautiful. You could see to the bottom of the ocean. We rented a beach house only 2 blocks from the beach at a very affordable price. So I suggest to give it a try you won't be disappointed.
I lived on Anna Maria Island over 40yrs ago when it was quiet, much less crowded and not well known. It's a beautiful place but was much nicer before it was "discovered".
Stunningly incredible, I'm seriously lost for superlatives on just how good this was. When life returns to normal , we will definitely visit. Until then its a massive thank you for lifting the mood from a cold wet UK.

We saw this video on New Year's Day, and decided we would need to visit this amazing-looking place. Usually, this means a long time of preparing for such a trip from Montana to Florida, but it worked out incredibly fast and we just got back. We loved it, even though the weather was cold and very windy the first two days. (I guess that means there's only one more cold day left for the year on AMI now, though! :D) However, it did get better, and we had a great time. The beaches are unbelievable, and the SAND is very unique. My husband got to fish on the Rod & Reel Pier and caught 4 sheepshead, a pufferfish, and some small crabs who were just using him for his bait. It was $2 to fish all day, $2/hour per pole and $2.50 per dozen bait shrimp. Everyone out there was very friendly and helpful. The Ugly Grouper had the best meal in my opinion, but there was no shortage of good food. We shared a lot because there was a lot in each serving. One thing that's not mentioned in the video that I would have liked to know is that Ginny's and Jane E's (Gulf Dr & Magnolia) has a vendor shop inside as well as the bakery. It's such a great place!! I would have gone there first to buy gifts for my family had I known. Another vendor shop that is really great is in the building where The Waffle Press is located on Pine Street. We enjoyed the nature boardwalk he mentions here, and we also visited the Palma Sola Botanical Park in Bradenton and the Myakka River State Park to see some wildlife. These were close enough to be easy to get to, and good to visit on the days it was too windy at the beach. We really appreciated this video (all of his videos, actually. Ohmygosh, don't get us started on his youtube channel or we'll never get anything done)! What a great way to discover new places and have lots of local information at your fingertips! We watched this a ton as we "researched" to see where we wanted to visit on AMI, and then watched it one more time on our last day just to make sure we hadn't missed anything we wanted to do. I think we're done now, :), but thank you for helping us have a great vacation!

I lived in Holmes beach for several years. You will enjoy Anna Maria Island. Many good places to dine. Plenty of charter boats to charter for cruising, fishing, plenty of shops, pubs. Lots to see and do. I hope they still have the Trolley running.It was free back when. It is way easier to get around on the trolley as the Island can be crowded with traffic sometimes.Nice golf course on Key Royale too. Enjoy

I retire in Oct and almost done with my camper van conversion. I grew up in Florida and plan on spending my winters in various beach towns. Have a inflatable sup and folding e bike is on order.
This place is my second home . We are from Minnesota and come down multiple times a year always renting a new house but hopefully soon we can purchase our own place in the beautiful island . I've been going here ever since 2010 and it feels like home . I know my way around the island like it's home and I just love the place .

Another awesome Florida video and cannot wait until you start filming the other side of Florida! I have to say I still think the Florida panhandle beaches are just as good if not better than any around. Pensacola beach is amazing and Destin Florida is a must video for one day !!! Also down the road from Destin and basically the entire South Walton area, 30A has some of the best beach towns ever and is my personal favorite place on earth!
Yea we had actually planned to shoot Destin & Ft Walton the weekend of this video, but because the weather was so cold up there we changed at last minute and did Anna Maria. We are already to go for Destin, have Helicopter Ride & Boat Rental ready, just waiting for the temperatures to go up.

Hi. Would you say Anna Maria is overall a nicer place to live? I’ve heard good things about Seaside, Destin etc. I prefer quaint beach towns with easy access to restaurants, stores, etc
@@mattsmith8901 I would say it's a great place to live! One never has to leave the island if you don't want. We live 4 miles from the beaches, in West Bradenton and hardly go to the beach due to traffic. If we lived there, we'd stay on the island. We do love W. Bradenton though as many of the restaurants mentioned in this video have sister restaurants on the mainland near us. We take visitors over to AMI, park at the beach parking and walk everywhere else. Any snooty attitudes are from those who vacation here and don't understand how to flow with the island rhythms.
Anna Maria Island is known for its gorgeous beaches, incredible restaurants, and unique shops. The island also has several great bars for grabbing a drink and unwinding after a long day of exploring.
Anna Maria is my favorite place in FL. Used to stay all the time at Silver Surf Resort, but they've not only gone way up in price, they also now require a 3 night stay.

I was born right in Blake hospital in Bradenton so this is my home. I've swam in those waters more times than I can count. It hurt me so much when I read a couple years ago that even more of the natural land and plant life was being destroyed just to build another god damn parking lot. I guess the song Big Yellow Taxi sums it up best: "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swinging hot spot Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone They paved paradise and put up a parking lot"

Love the video! Always watch this when I’m missing my “second home”. Me and my family have been vacationing from Kentucky to the island on and off since 2005. It’s truly a beautiful and amazing place with great people! And the food is amazing! Beach house and the city pier are our favorite places to grab some food! Haven’t been back since 2016 unfortunately.
I’ve been traveling from Ohio to Anna Maria Island for vacation the last 5 years and agree with the rating of the beaches. Great Video! If your going to take a dolphin sighting/ wildlife tour I would recommend CAPT Kathe and Katie. Info was included in the video. It took me 3 years to find them, but will probably be doing it every year. You can snorkel in a shallow area at the same cost as the big boats. Can’t recommend it enough!
My family and I vacationed here in the late 1990's. I don't remember exactly what part of the island we were at but we stayed in an older home converted into apartments. I think the place was named "Island Breeze Resort". We loved the area because it's not over crowded.
So Beautiful. I live in Clermont, but I can see this chain of beaches being my slice of paradise. Only 2 hours away can be a day trip or a 2ni getaway What a blessing it is being a Floridian✨
I grew up going to visit my grandparents here on AMI. Have amazing memories, thank you for bringing back some of my childhood nostalgia. I hope to get back here one day. It looks a lot more built up from what I remember! I used to get grouper sandwiches at the Bridge Street Pier, sounds like they changed to an Oyster bar. Thanks again!
My wife and I beachcombed Anna Maria Island a day or so after a storm passed through. The variety and beauty of the shells washed up onto the beach were staggering. After walking for miles we stopped at a beachside restaurant (there were only a couple) Had a meal and something to drink. Then a performer played guitar with one hand and flute with the other both at the same time. He was surprisingly good on both. We drove back to the motel we had booked as we were driving around Florida for a month on vacation. Many highlights from that whole trip but that day on Anna Maria Island was special to us both. It was like a day out of time. Anyway that's not why you called. Thought this video was good, but the guy doing the voice-over kinda made my teeth itch
I stay on Longboat Key once a year and Anna Maria is ny favorite place to go to! We kayaked along the island is saw so many cool wildlife. Can't wait to go back in May. Also, Skinny's restaurant is so freaking amazing.
My husband and I love grilling at Coquina Beach either by ourselves or with our friends. Anna Maria Island as a whole is very charming and has many great restaurants to choose from. I miss living 10 minutes away from it but we still take the hour drive whenever we can. ☀️🏖🐬
I do social media for a few small businesses on Bradenton Beach! I work for the miniature golf course and a few gift shops on historic Bridge Street. Thank you for making this video and bringing awareness to the island! 🏖
I was in Florida for 5years and when I found out about ana Maria island 🏝️ I couldn't get enough of such a beautiful island beach 🏖️ I would go almost every week or weekend even if I had to walk from palmetto and believe it was worth it I moved back to Massachusetts but one day I will return?😁 for now I will enjoy this beautiful well made video thank you for bringing me back nice memories ❤

I was born right in Blake hospital in Bradenton so this is my home. I've swam in those waters more times than I can count. It hurt me so much when I read a couple years ago that even more of the natural land and plant life was being destroyed just to build another god damn parking lot.
I guess the song Big Yellow Taxi sums it up best:
"They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swinging hot spot
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone

Won't be long till they do the same to Bean point... hoping that never happens though
But Lifestyle, Beaches, and Amenities. . . We're really living on the inertia of the post WWII generation. It'll be a mess in the future. Everything is to produce "capital"
We go to AMI EVERY YEAR LOVE THIS PLACE.

Love the video! Always watch this when I’m missing my “second home”. Me and my family have been vacationing from Kentucky to the island on and off since 2005. It’s truly a beautiful and amazing place with great people! And the food is amazing! Beach house and the city pier are our favorite places to grab some food! Haven’t been back since 2016 unfortunately.
I’ve been traveling from Ohio to Anna Maria Island for vacation the last 5 years and agree with the rating of the beaches. Great Video! If your going to take a dolphin sighting/ wildlife tour I would recommend CAPT Kathe and Katie. Info was included in the video. It took me 3 years to find them, but will probably be doing it every year. You can snorkel in a shallow area at the same cost as the big boats. Can’t recommend it enough!

My family and I vacationed here in the late 1990's. I don't remember exactly what part of the island we were at but we stayed in an older home converted into apartments. I think the place was named "Island Breeze Resort". We loved the area because it's not over crowded.
So Beautiful. I live in Clermont, but I can see this chain of beaches being my slice of paradise.
Only 2 hours away can be a day trip or a 2ni getaway

I grew up going to visit my grandparents here on AMI. Have amazing memories, thank you for bringing back some of my childhood nostalgia. I hope to get back here one day. It looks a lot more built up from what I remember! I used to get grouper sandwiches at the Bridge Street Pier, sounds like they changed to an Oyster bar. Thanks again!

My wife and I beachcombed Anna Maria Island a day or so after a storm passed through. The variety and beauty of the shells washed up onto the beach were staggering. After walking for miles we stopped at a beachside restaurant (there were only a couple) Had a meal and something to drink. Then a performer played guitar with one hand and flute with the other both at the same time. He was surprisingly good on both. We drove back to the motel we had booked as we were driving around Florida for a month on vacation. Many highlights from that whole trip but that day on Anna Maria Island was special to us both. It was like a day out of time.
Anyway that's not why you called. Thought this video was good, but the guy doing the voice-over kinda made my teeth itch
I stay on Longboat Key once a year and Anna Maria is ny favorite place to go to! We kayaked along the island is saw so many cool wildlife. Can't wait to go back in May. Also, Skinny's restaurant is so freaking amazing.

My husband and I love grilling at Coquina Beach either by ourselves or with our friends. Anna Maria Island as a whole is very charming and has many great restaurants to choose from. I miss living 10 minutes away from it but we still take the hour drive whenever we can. ☀️🏖🐬

I was in Florida for 5years and when I found out about ana Maria island 🏝️ I couldn't get enough of such a beautiful island beach 🏖️ I would go almost every week or weekend even if I had to walk from palmetto and believe it was worth it I moved back to Massachusetts but one day I will return?😁 for now I will enjoy this beautiful well made video thank you for bringing me back nice memories ❤
