The West Coast is definitely not the same when you left it. The northeastern and California people have absolutely wrecked it. They’ve driven out the locals and the people on fixed-income and the traffic is absolutely horrible.

Whoa, that shot at starting at 17:29, stellar looking. Really makes me wish I was there. Amazing work overall as usual. The best I can describe Florida at times is that it has such great "color." The blue skies, splotches of green grass, and paints on buildings, you do a great job of capturing it. When I talked to people who live in Florida, I think they become desensitized to that visual sensation.

Good morning Tampa arrow media. Hey this is marc from Ohio watching your video of Sarasota. You’re bringing back more memories are used to go through that area when I was younger about 40 years ago with mom, which by the way she passed away in December 2022 but you know if she were still alive today this is just bringing back memories for her. There’s just something about Florida in general. I grew up and lived in Tampa I was born in Ocala so I’m a Florida native, but there’s just something about Florida. It has a whole Nother feeling about it that no other state has and every time I watch a video it just reminds me I miss home but you know my home is not down there even though I call Florida my home I guess home is just where your heart is and is contradicting as this sounds my heart is in Florida and so therefore I need to go back, but I have no one to go back to that makes any sense so, an oxymoron I want to be there because I love it but I have nowhere to go to to enjoy it with, but I just still want to thank you for your videos because I love watching them and it’s just as good as being there anyway take care

We bought a couple properties in 34237. One to live in and one as an Airbnb and could not be happier. Almost making enough money on the Airbnb to pay both mortgages. Close to downtown, Lido, Longboat and Siesta.

I revisit your videos when winter in the Inland Northwest is getting the best of me. The sky and ground are often a whitish grey, and everything is dead and dreary for 5 months or more. What an escape to see your Florida vids.

@@TampaAerialMedia that was definitely a rough September for us in Fort Myers last year. Still working through the damage from Ian but it gets a little better every day. You have to take the good with the bad. No place is without its drawbacks but I’d take Florida any day. ⛵️

Back in the mid to late 90's I enjoyed living in Sarasota during my college years at Ringling, and for a time living in Siesta key just yards from the beach. It was amazing. Back then Sarasota was pretty much off of the nations radar. and we did our best to keep it that way. a beautiful secret that unfortunately wouldnt last forever. No where near the amount of people that currently resides. in fact, i remember the beginnings of real estate construction going on east of 75. was little more than sticks back then. so much has changed. It was a quiet sleepy retirement town. Same could be said about alot of saint pete clearwater, which i again would find myself living for many years as well. but leaving in 09, it was just the start of people turning their sites to region. but again im so glad i got to enjoy it all before the influx of the masses. i do miss it for sure. but its also a bit sad that these towns had been invaded by the very peoples who not but a minute ago was in their beloved states, bashing Florida on the regular. how ironic such people would then find themselves priced out of their own states, and making a b-line for the one place they claimed to hate so much. all that talk, and now they have nothing but smiles. whats worse is that their arrival is killing all that good about the state. all theyre doing is making florida just as messed up as where they came from. driving up cost. creating shady business practices. who need another california!? thankfully their are but a few secret hot spots still left. and we gota keep these last places well under the radar.
Thanks for your thoughts, however I think many of those coming to FL are not the same people bashing FL...It's natural for people to move to good places, there is an upside to that.. there's a lot more services, alot more restaurants, more things to do. There are still rural areas to in FL.
@@TampaAerialMedia indeed theres now a lot more of everything in Sarasota in the past decade or so. but i fear sarasota is fast changing into yet another california. another hallmark for gated communities and upbeat snobbery. The sarasota i know had old money, but money that was rather humble and never excluding. it was such a sweet town. and its people were not all rich, in fact most were low income, as their not many career offerings in sarasota, and most make the long trip to tampa and st pete, which also was more lower middle class. but now this new money comes with new problems that push the native folks out. and realestate jacking up everything until.... california 2.0 and yet another great secret spot, gone. everyone chasing the money, and never paying attention to the damage it inevitably cause.

Sarasota is one of the best places on earth. I’ve lived in hawaii and sw Florida is better I think.

You gotta mention Sattimi's Italian gelato on St. Armand's circle in Lido Key. By far the best and most reasonably priced gelato anywhere in Sarasota area.
Stayed near Nathan Benderson park last March into early April. Would love to ride the Legacy trail when we get our bikes to Sarasota. Friends live in the mennonite neighborhood near Bahia Vista. Will try Yoder's. Great video with real life recommendations, esp the restaurants. Mattison's is good.

It seems that everywhere in Florida is beautiful and spectacular. One thing that I noticed about the mentioned park lake,
the Nathan Benderson Park, with the 400 acre lake that is a perfect oval shape. It would be ideal to make a "water-skiing
cable park" that runs around the outside, pulling the people on a cable, as they water-ski. It would not cost too much $??,
and the profits spectacular, as they could charge some $60-$70 for a few hours or so. There could also be other locales.
I went to a similar "cable water-skiing park" in Thailand, it was a good entertaining "past-time" to do, and the cost over
there was some $300 baht (about $10) for an hour or two. The thing that sticks-out in my mind, when I went to that water
skiing park, a few times, as I was living there for a while. I usually have "VERY GOOD BALANCE", and even though I had never
water-skied before, the first few times trying it I was falling off very, very easy.............................., which at that time, I passed
off as just being "new" to it, and not being used to water-skiing, but nowadays with far greater knowledge, with better insight,
and through hindsight, I can know for sure, that I was being poisoned, with "foods & drinks", knocking my usual excellent
"balance" off it's equilibrium. What happened, THE DREADED DROOPY was "administered" very sneakily, and underhanded,
as I was "surprised" at falling off easily, that happened a few times, after that I "adjusted" and could stay on my feet a bit
longer, but still not very good, a little bewildering. After that, we went to play a game of tennis, which years earlier could
play reasonably well, you know, get the ball back over the net, play some rallies, now my "touch" and balls was out, playing
like a "spastic" (I'm not sure if that's P.C?) Co-ordination, Reflexes, Reactions etc, all over the place, why?? Again like "skiing",
although I did not know at the time (I thought I was playing very badly because I had not played for so long)..........................

IT WAS THE DROOPY ONCE AGAIN....WHAT TO DO? MONITOR YOUR C.R.R COMPARED TO OTHER TIMES, IF SOMETHING

Year I think they do some type of watersports there know. I would think they will probably have a cable water park at some point, it does seem like it would be ideal
