Big difference between Daytona Beach Shores and Daytona Beach. Kind of like you went to Manhattan and gee Wall Street was so great. Took the subway to 185th street, wow what a difference.
I lived at Sea Havens on Florida Shores Blvd and loved it . Daytona Beach Shores is great I miss living there . Even though there’re only a couple miles apart , Daytona Beach Shores and Daytona Beach are quite different. I like the Shores it’s nice and laid back . I used to work at Peck Tower the tall circular building, there was a nice restaurant on the 29th floor with panoramic views called Sophie Kay’s Top of Daytona. That shot a scene for the Tom Cruise movie Days of Thunder at that restaurant. Got to meet some of the cast and the producers Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer. Fun times in Daytona Beach Shores that’s for sure .
Daytona, Shores, Ponce, Ormond, New Smyrna are only as good as the people who love it here. Thanks for showing these areas in a good light. "It ain't as good as it once was" can be said about the spirit of many towns. It's a good place that I call home. Born in Daytona in 83' and still reside here.

Yea way back in 1971 lots of places were nice, now not so much. Wonder why Annie any guess?
Nice video. You should have gone further south on A1A from 27th street until you hit Canaveral National Seashore. Zero development, and a 27 mile stretch of untouched beach. Also some great views of the Mosquito Lagoon from the top of Turtle Mound. Also, Breakers right at the end of Flagler Ave has amazing burgers.
yep, true, wished we would have gone further south there.
@@TampaAerialMedia there's always next time! I bet you could get some amazing drone shots of the beach and lagoon down there. JBs is a good place to grab drinks and food if you're down that way.
Your Florida videos are the best! ..next time you are in new Smyrna check out the garlic restaurant
Thankyou, yea I love Garlic.
Great video, if you were just covering the beach that's fine, but there's the Daytona lagoon, downtown historic district, The historic Jackie Robinson stadium home of the tortugas, there's one Daytona, and the Tanger outlets, all are Great places to do and visit, thank you for the videos
ALL AROUND TOP-NOTCH JOB ON THIS VIDEO!
Thankyou Russell
Daytona beach is special. I liked the somewhat old-fashioned eighties flair on my last trip there.
yea that is a good way to put it. I was trying to think of a way to describe Daytona, and that is it.
@@TampaAerialMedia 👍
Yea it is so special what is your fav Helmut, the crime 58 shooting last year, the grime of the homeless peeps picking through the garbage on A1A, the non stop traffic on the weekends, the endless noise. Come on you must have one.
You did an amazing job covering Tampa! If they allow puppies I bet you would love Daytona Beach Hard Rock Hotel! I took a tour or two on my channel 😎
Yea, I just brought may dog to the Hard Rock in Tampa today, they let me in, never said anything.
the best thing I did was move from this city nothing to do no jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach Fl which is close to Miami and Hollywood Beach Fl the night life is great it's a lot of jobs that's available and paying good.
Don't forget to get a Haircut at the World famous Main Street Barbershop on Main st. in Daytona! Over 70 years of servicing!!!
Luvvvv Daytona went to 21 consecutive 500 races.
Saw SR win and tragically there when he lost his life.
Good memories though stayed on a beachfront hotel slid open the patio doors and fell asleep to the waves.
Great driving up and down the beach.
Lots to see and do would have loved to live there (sigh).
Daytona Flea market and amazing shopping!!
Haven't been to n 10 years hope to return once the covid crap is done.
Haven't been here in 10 years, well best you stay home, Daytona is old dirty crime ridden place that what your thinking about is in your rear view mirror.
Those cruise prices with Howling are significantly incorrect bit thanks for the rest of the information. Daytona looks beautiful and I'm planning vacation there in November
Excellent video! Hope to visit relatives there in the near future. Bella is cute 😸. 🐸🐾🇨🇦🐡🏖🐚🌸
Thankyou for the nice words.
Amazing video as usual!! Thank you.
Do Gasparilla island & Boca Grande!
That reminds me about Gasparilla, I need to include that in this next Tampa Video coming this week...
@@TampaAerialMedia awesome man I can't wait!!🔥
Hey man I love your videos, keep up the good work.
Thankyou Darin
Your Florida vids are the best!!!!
Glad you like them!
I will be there in Summer 2027 Thanks buddy God Bless
You missed Rockefeller house and gardens Ormond beach at the bridge- Rockefellers winter home- stunning ( I live in Ormond by the sea) 😎
True, good suggestion
Great job with your detailed videos! God bless you! Would like to hear more about God in your clips!
Thankyou always want to share but also without turning some people off.
Most importantly not to have God turn from us! We need to be bold like lions, and try following Jesus's last commandment (Matthew 28:19) go and teach all nations! RUclips is a great platform to try sharing the words of Life! God bless you brother!
Brilliant Video
Awesome...loved the video of what I now call home.
this is funny as I been here for 27 years and sure it has its nice tourist areas but most places are poor and run down like where I stay same with ISB it has the race track and a bunch of nice stuff but not here wish daytona and ormond and holly hill spent more on there towns as a whole then on these small areas
Yea so true anyone who lives here laughs at videos like this one. Daytona Beach is the pits.
Looks beautiful ❤️
Thankyou Octavia
DAYTONA BABY
The more videos you do of Florida the more I want to go back home to Florida God has Daytona changed I’ll tell you what I think I’m gonna figure out how to get down there here this year and make it my final move of my life I just live there since I was born in Ocalla I will die in Florida near Daytona Tampa or somewhere but at least I’ll die being happy ha ha
Life is short and we only have one shot at it. Do it, go for what makes you happy.
Yea well trust a guy that lives here, Daytona isn't the place you want to be.
7:08 make sure you visit the other hidden treasure location on South Ridgewood in Port orange. I like to look up in the rafters and count the rats running around. I usually lose count around 30-40.
Good video Daytona is a very nice place.
I too like Wyndham's La Quinta Inns for a chain-type good experience.
So ready to move 🤗🤗 already looking at houses
Welcome to Florida
I can’t wait to move to Margaritaville 💪🏖🦜🩴
I'm moving to Daytona in August which is mid hurricane season. Any suggestions of like a checklist I can finish so everything I need done is done? Firearm transport, Moving in, Sightseeing, Restaurants, etc. Please and thank you...
Always good to have a generator, if you are owning a home, might be good to make get good strong windows. Don't want to scare you because odds are you won't have a bad hurricane, but good to be prepared if you get one.
@@TampaAerialMedia I appreciate it. I heard the hurricanes are more of a nuisance than anything. Is flood insurance mandatory and how much is it usually?
Excellent video! Thank you!
Thankyou Rebecca
excelent work. it makes me want to visit Daytona
