      Thats awesome you were able to find it. I wasn't sure if to build it this way, because I worried people wouldn't be able to purchase bendable plywood. It really is the best way to build this! Good luck!

    Hello, very good job, I always watch your videos and learn. I would just like to know how the plywood you use is made so that it bends easily. first of all, Thanks

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  4 месяца назад

      Hi, thank you. This plywood is specially made to bend easily. But you have to purchase from a lumber store. It is usually where the wood workers buy their wood as it is a special type called bendable plywood. Good luck

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  11 месяцев назад

      Hi, I am sorry I do not have any easy recommendations for other options. There are, but it takes many more steps and can be complicated to make it look clean and all together as one piece. So for now, bendable plywood is a must for this design. Sorry

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  9 месяцев назад

      Hi, I think less than two day project. The first day was making it and sanding. The next day was clean up and paint I believe. They weren't full days. If you have a brad nail gun and the rip cut jig for the saw. It comes together pretty quick, plus I was filming the whole time. lol

    how many people does this need to lift for transport? and will it fit on the back of a regular flat bed truck?

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, the plans for this one is 7ft tall. I have a 8ft bed truck. It fits easily as it is 4ft wide in the plans. I moved it myself, but two people always make the job 10 x easier. I just leaned the back against the tailgate and tipped it over slowly. Then just lifted the legs back and pushed it in on the back. To unload it I did the same, Just slid it out and tiped it upright. Then I just put one arm in the center of the bottom arch and pushed up. I was able to move it around this way. But if you have two people it is so much easier just carrying a side each. The only trouble I had moving it myself was going through a door way, lol. It was a little tricky but I did it lol. Good luck on your build!

    How much did the final product weigh?

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  Год назад

      hmmm, not sure but I was able to move it around myself lifting the top up and walking around with it. But it wasn't light, I recommend two people to move it and not damage it. Plus if you see at the end of the video, there are wood pieces in the back. They will be a good lifting point to help with transport. Hope this helps and good luck!

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, but I could see some issues that people would have with the design. As I try to make my plans geared toward beginners. I can see this not working out and then people not happy with the result. So I decided to do the easier way with bendable plywood.

    I wasn't even aware they sold bendable plywood. It is actually pretty easy to make your own with a mitre saw, but buying it is def a game changer for me, that will save at least a couple hours on a build!

    • @MakerDecor
      @MakerDecor  Год назад

      Yeah, I tried to stay away from it because I wasn't sure the availability for others at lumber yards. But if you have access to it, yes it is a time saver and works great. It does need to be sanded pretty good to get a clean finish, but made this project go by so much easier. Thanks for watching!

      I’m with you Maximus - I’ve always used the table saw to make repeated cuts - I’ve just priced this online and the price is affordable compared to time spent and allowing for wastage (I’ve made a few errors with this method…lol). Many thanks @MakerDecor
