Flying Helsinki: Vanhakaupunki May 2024, Finland [4K]

Flying above Vanhakaupunki neighbourhood, mainly around its stream pool and weir, also the nearby Pornaistenniemi where duckboards lead to Lammassaari island. Vanhakaupunki is also the name of a district of the city, which contains the neighbourhood and its surroundings. The name (meaning "old town") comes from the fact that Helsinki was originally founded in the Vanhakaupunki area.

How do you keep line of sight which is the law? I'm planning to take my drone there myself

I change locations while filming and get sometimes high enough to have line of sight. In general I try to check the drone maps carefully before and while filming in air. I also always try to check surroundings in the air before flying certain routes that might have branches or cables nearby.
