Haslam is a criminal he can't be trusted. This is just the next Haslam mega disaster. He should have never been allowed to own a team it's complete madness.
The same way as the Bills. Get politicians to approve a $1 Billion education tax in the middle of the night in March with no discussion and refuse to talk about it. Then when the property tax comes due 1 1/2 years later they have no choice but to pay the property tax or lose their home. All to fund the Billionaires stadium, with a seat license required to even get the right to buy a ticket.
I couldn't give a single $hit about this pathetic excuse of a "franchise". Keep my money out of it. Damn Clowns, even screwing over those smart enough to not waste their time on them.
Last time the Browns left Cleveland, the major league baseball team sold out 455 consecutive games and the city added the WNBA Rockers. Maybe Cleveland could even enhance its level of sobriety without the Sunday tailgaiting debauchery that local media likes to hype as something positive. I'm surprised the NFL doesn't implement a "Haslam" rule similar to the NBA's "Stepien" Rule after the debacle that has been the Deshaun Watson trade. Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Cincinnati are all close enough to make the drive if you still want NFL football.
I hear that Haslem is canceling these plans on order to move the team to another city saying that after their reaction to Watsons injury that this fan base doesn't deserve a football team.
Taxes to pay for this???? Is this a County-wide tax or just a BrookPark Ohio tax??? Who's really going to be pocketing all the taxpayers dollars who's in control of the audit and oversight of taxpayers money paying for this huge project??
Message for the guy being interviewed....... TAKE THE RAPID RIGHT TO THE STADIUM, DUMBAZZ! That solves the parking issue. We have an owner that doesn't care about football, the Browns, the legacy, or the fans! He cares only about his own wants and needs, and he'll be trying to do it from the pockets of the fans. We need an owner like Mr. Al Lerner, a man who loved football, the city of Cleveland and the fans!!! A man that understood about the Cleveland Browns legacy and what was best for our team! SHOULDN'T YOU BE FOCUSED ON PUTTING A WINNING TEAM TOGETHER!!!??
Oh, America-the land of the free, the home of the brave, and the realm of constantly upgrading sports stadiums like they're iPhones. Who needs a perfectly functional multimillion-dollar arena when you can bulldoze it for a new billion-dollar palace, fully equipped with a rooftop pool, a climate-controlled field, and Wi-Fi so good you can stream a movie while the game bores you? I mean, what's another billion between friends when the taxpayer is footing most of the bill? Take the typical cycle: A shiny, cutting-edge stadium goes up, making headlines for its groundbreaking design and state-of-the-art facilities. And then, a decade or two later, someone points out that the parking lot’s asphalt has faded just a little, or, heaven forbid, the VIP lounge only has three sushi options. So, out come the bulldozers, because apparently, if the stadium isn't the crown jewel of every architectural magazine, we might as well be sitting on fold-out bleachers in the middle of a cornfield. Of course, these stadiums aren’t just for sports-they’re versatile “community hubs” where families can come together and… pay $18 for a beer and $50 for a T-shirt. Ah, the American dream! And when that stadium is paid off in, oh, fifty years, it’ll already be a crumbling relic because by then, of course, we'll need a holographic one. It’s tradition! Why settle for good enough when we can have slightly-better-than-good enough-for a mere billion or two more?
Mayor Bibb should keep the current stadium no matter what haslam does with the browns. Use it for concerts, partner with rock hall, or other sport events. Make Haslam compete. Heck, maybe even a real nfl franchise would like to play in Cleveland while Browns play in Brook Park. Think big. This move out of the city is a problem for the area and Cleveland needs to keep the entertainment going downtown one way or another.
They should use the state’s revenues from gambling and recreational marijuana to help build the Browns stadium and renovate the Bengals stadium since both are expensive projects
@@bmanagement4657 Yeah, well that's what the Ohio lottery was supposed to do for all public schooling. For as many years as we've had the state lottery you would think by now with all of that so-called funding from the lottery. That Ohio public schools would be one of the best educated states in the entire USA, right? Yet unfortunately they're not even close. Just saying...
These people., including the ones commenting here, better wake up. Either they play ball and give them what they want or THE "FANS" LOSE THE BROWNS FOR A SECOND TIME, when the Haslems move the team.
Wait till you get your new real estate tax next year , the counties new windfall will be plenty to cover it , it’s not like they were running a deficit
Its all about money....Well Yeah of course its a business not a Non Profit. Fyi I don't see any way they get over 2 billion for a stadium in Cleveland. They will be at there current home for the foreseeable future.
Socializing the cost; privatizing the profit. Vote NO on stadium tax levies!
The Cleveland Browns should issue their own bonds and then pay their own debt. Keep the TAXPAYER out of it.
Screw the Haslam's.
Haslams should pay for the whole deal. Show Cleveland how much they support the Browns!
Haslam is a criminal he can't be trusted. This is just the next Haslam mega disaster. He should have never been allowed to own a team it's complete madness.
Don't ask US to fund your stadium. It's YOUR BUSINESS...YOU FUND IT !
no tax dollars for the brookpark browns
Brook park resident property tax will triple to pay luxury stadium
"we're excited to steal your money"
No more corporate welfare.
there really should be a COUNTY-WIDE vote on this!
California-based Countrywide, offering subprime mortgages to people with credit problems. How did that work out?😢
@@GFY-r6l lool probably not too well?
Let hasgreeds pay their OWN way!!
Glad to see mayor Orcutt got paid.
I'm from Brook Park, don't want it.
i am NOT paying ONE CENT in TAXES for this FYI!
I really wish this POS franchise never returned in 1999!

Watson is going to give them a loan
Dashawn Watson should pay for it
He only gets $240million that 1/4 of it The Halsams got the Money let them pay the 3.5 Billion
Stadiums are FAR more damaging to local economies than helpful. All profits should go to local taxes.
I couldn't give a single $hit about this pathetic excuse of a "franchise". Keep my money out of it. Damn Clowns, even screwing over those smart enough to not waste their time on them.
Cleveland should buy little brookpark and make jimmy sale the team

Domed! Awesome! Wish Buffalo would’ve chosen that route………..
Apparently the dome was an extra 500 million

Put a better product on the field. Current stadium is only 25 years old. Haslam won’t own the team by then.

Watson's contract is guaranteed, so he'll be your starter next season.

Let the greedy criminal who should be in jail Jimmy haslam pay for the stadium
