Hey Scott, you are braver than I, I'm waiting for the weather to break here in southern Michigan, we had a snow storm roll through yesterday. If you don't mind my asking, what is the purpose of the zip ties on the bottom of the sand scoop? That one item at 11:15, looked like a type of earring to me.. I have yet to hunt the water, however, it seems to me that it might be a little easier to grab the target if you left the coil over it and brought the scoop up to it, you would definitely hear a pitch change in tone when the scoop was close right? I don't know, it was just a thought... Nice finds today.. Happy Hunting!!
Thanks for the idea, I may try that. As far as the zip ties, my buddy fabricated a plate that reduces the ricks of losing small jewelry. It has saved me a couple of times to earrings.
@@MentalMetal ok, that makes sense... I thought I saw some different sized holes that maybe was another plate... That's a great idea for sure... Happy Hunting!!
I had an extra plate made to catch the small earring type of treasure. The scoop catches 99% of everything. Sometimes you will miss those earring studs.
Not saying it was....but in a river like that with sand and gravel, keep an eye out for Indian Artifacts / arrowheads...perfect spot.....looked like one in the basket with the cross....glad you finally found Jesus as well....
Hi Scott. I’m sad that your recent videos are using vague attention-seeking titles. I liked it better when your titles more directly described what your video was about.
Hats-off to these perilous water hunts.
Thank you!

I wouldn't know one of those artifacts even if it bit me in the hind end.

Thanks for the comment. I do put additional info in the description. This video is not a how-to or demonstration video, just a hunting experience.
