That medal immediately brought me back to ‘68 Vietnam(for I wore one) and the handle less tea cup was in almost every family dwelling. It was used to serve rice dishes to family and guests!
And ironically I’m meeting two fellow Marines tomorrow to reminisce our time “in country!” Thanks Matt & Paul 👏👏

Thank you once again for letting me tag along. And yes, I do really love mud too. Just waiting for the weather over here to warm up, so I can go out and do my own version of "digging in the mud", like a little piggy. I am so looking forward to getting my veggie garden started for the season, as well as heading out into the woods to harvest all the eatables out there, along with my dog Nova.
I know a lot of people love spring but for me, it brings me much aggravation, thinking that tomorrow I'll be able to go out and start, just for tomorrow to bring more snow and cold... 🥶 Our growing season over here isn't very long so, every day is important. Granted, I've started most of my seedlings indoors. Garlic was planted in the fall and looks promising. Knock on wood... Oh well, come hell or high water, at least my potatoes are going in the ground in the week to come!! 🤨 Really need to build a green house. Got all the material, just not the motivation so, I guess I can't complain to much.
Loved both the religious medallions you and Paul found! 👍 And not to forget the Mason jar!! I do a lot of canning, both water bath caning and pressure caning and really miss the Mason jars from the US. Ordering them from Amazon US costs an arm, leg and my firstborn! Have found other jars on this side of the pond that do work but, I for some reason just miss those Mason/Ball jars!
Anywho... Thanks for this upload of you guys "fishing/rooting in the mud for treasures". For some reason, I tend to zone out (in a good healing way) while watching/listening to your videos and give whatever is left of my brain a break. ☺

Hi Matt, Gee whiz! You gotta a lotta balls there! Jars that is! It’s amazing how they survive the many years they’ve been in the ground! And so many people dropping coins…. Century after century! That really amazes me. And God only knows what else is hidden down deep in the earth, not just where you are, but all over the world where “man” has trodden. 🌏🤔

Hi Matt, Many nice finds this day! The metal finds look great for their age, they cup reminds me of my Chinese bowls. I like them a lot, but I have only used them for decorations. I also have a teapot just like the bowls. Amazing that cup has been there forever. Looks like the 70s, but I could be mistaken. Was that blue bottle lotion? I was sure of the material weather glass or plastic. Anyway, you have an excellent weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Good morning! Lovely finds this week. I can’t believe that mason jar was in such perfect condition! And what are you going to do with the tea cup?
My best find of the week is a stopper. It has a short little triangular top with elongated sides. I can’t ID it, but it’s lovely and like none of my other stoppers.
My question for you this time is if you have any suggestions for places in New England to beach comb/mud lark without a metal detector? I’ve got vacation coming up and I’d like to try another location.
Thanks Becca!, 1st question: I keep and store whatever I show on the vid, decide later eventually what to do with it, lol. 2nd: great find on the stopper seems unusual 3rd: not to familiar with this N.E. Area but I would research the bay areas , so much history went in there. Good luck.
