Think of it like a tough job interview- it’s the interviewers role (especially in a high level type job where you would be required to work under high stress) to ask you tough questions, and make you squirm to a certain extent to see how you handle the pressure and attitude, and it’s your job as the interviewee to be respectful and polite, yet confident, and show them why you would be great asset and have a great personality and how you would handle possible ‘difficult or confrontational situations’ and people, which is needed in business. If you know you've got a solid product, there's no need to get intimidated. That's why Peter's interest was there, because he knows the product IS something, and the inventors know it as well.
Peter is often deliberately playing a confrontational role to see how the entrepreneurs react.
But they are not begging for money... I would be scrutinizing too if someone asked to borrow over six figures from me.
Peter Jones is an absolute legend.
The way he went from criticism to commendation was amazing.
I'm sure he's bipolar
So am I....I have been to The Arctic and Antartic....
His plot twist was epic! He took that guy to hell and then raised him up...most times I watch Dragon's Den just for Peter Jones..so unpredictable and strategic! (I feel like his strategy is to lower their ego then make them an offer they'd be so relieved to get)
Esther Anegbe nope, he was put in his place and they won his respect.
Update June 2020: product is still pending production and missed the Dec 19 product launch due to covid19. Touker now owns 50% of the business after addition investment and up to a £1 million overdraft facility.
proof?
I wouldn't of done this investment
Can you provide these updates for all of them? Haha
Cara Sanders haha yes
Yeah why you are surprised?
2 Israeli conman sold an idea which is not practical.
If sir Alan sugar was a dragon, he would had said get your bloody hands out your pockets son
Would someone tell Bill Gates and Elon musk to do the same? Or was Peter being a dick and bullying?
its lord
Thats Lord Sugar to you, riff-raff
@@schmatever Lord my ass
Will Bee If Bill Gates or Elon Musk was delivering a pitch to an important investor that is potentially vital to their company’s growth then they would show proper respect and act accordingly. Peter didn’t like the egotistical and obnoxious persona being put on by someone trying to persuade him especially.
The guy is honest. They tried it. He's so genuine he literally didn't even shift. I respect that.
I’m utterly stunned that Jenny is the only dragon not to make an offer 😂😂
It seems that they’re not even bothering to air her inevitable “I’m out” anymore 🤣🤣🤣
why would debra match peter's offer when she already knows they prefer peter in general lmao
I am Jenny, the product is great but your hands are in your pocket, so for that reason, I'm in but I'm still out.
Peter:"I don't see where you get a valuation of £2m?"
Entrepreneur: "I don't care what you think, you are nothing."
Peter: "Take my money!!!!"
Developing a battery powered product that wraps around a baby's head and blows air to it's mouth. the regulations must be tighter than Jenny
Why would you assume the batteries are kept in the device instead of keeping them somwhere else in the stroller? They invented cables you know, electricity can be transported!
Jenny: “the cameraman doesn’t even bother with me so for that reason I’m out”
Brizi still hasn't released their product, their website says they'll release it end of 2019. Fundamentally though, this is an air purifier for outdoors, and could never work without radical changes to the design, I have no idea why anyone put in any offers.
I wish Theo P was there, he would of said, 'uh guys this would strangle my children'.
“Who will get my inheritance?!”
I miss Theo. The team would be perfect if they just replaced Jenny with Theo
They wouldn't sell me the baby therefore I don't need one and won't invest.
@@landon5583 It's in capital!
Lol when it's a kids product I've seen him destroy it 😂😂
So they didn't even wait for Jenny to make an offer!
If I were Jenny, I would be out too.
You don't know this club members: the poor business owners will give you everything nearly for free.
They only had 4 hours.
8:19 Peter criticising him for having hands in his pockets, other guy immediately unlocks and drops his clasped hands 😂
They should make that for adults sitting on stuffy aircraft.
That's a good idea, a lot of people get colds on aeroplanes
Yes it's from the high levels of benzene not circulating breath
BUT, you would still be breathing in stale air directly, regardless of the filtered air
I'd buy that!!
Rosetta P take a closer look at it, there is no way you would be breathing in clean air, air would be breathed in direct from front
I love the strength and straightforwardness of the guy in glasses.
Understanding your business is key, a strong team of entrepreneurs... Wow!...
You can tell why these dragons are so successful, they can read deeper than what regular people can see
Peter always insults before he invests.
The product is for using outside
Jenny: Im out
Entrepreneurs: the product-
Jenny: I'm out
Hahaha
Shouldn’t that be the product is for inside then she says I’m out 🤔
I hate Dragons for giving grief to folk who are under NDA!
I'm a common species of freshwater fish that generally feeds on soft-bodied aquatic invertebrates, and for that reason, I'm Trout.
Just love the way each offer is identical to the preceding one, but positioned as if it is a new angle for them to deliberate on
I think that is the best and steeliest negotiating I've seen in the den, they did well to hold their nerve and fire back at the Dragons.
man what a show , taught this never would end up with an investment, well done from both parts
I can tell you right now: with the way parents spend money on gadgets for kids, even if it is only 20% effective parents will buy it.
If the air pollution is so bad, why bother bringing someone into the world?
@@lepetitchat123 because people are selfish and always have been, look at people giving birth when they can barely afford food for themselves as a an example
@@laevil Thanks! You must be a fellow antinatalist :)
Death to the CCP antialatist? No clue what that is
Maybe they would, if it was actually sold. It's still not on the market. The website says it will be out in 2019. Yeah, that hasn't been updated in ages.
I picture what Jenny writes in that notebook is just " I'm out" over and over like Jack from the shinning
I love that guy's confidence and skill of negotiations, he knew exactly the dragon he wants to make the deal with, got for it strategically and win it. Perfect Negotiations... Wow!
We need to address the pollution problem rather than sell over priced filter systems to parents. What happens when the child wants to get out and walk etc? Or you have to carry them around? I've had four so know what I'm talking about.
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this only resolves the issue in the short time the baby is sitting in the push chair

Yes I saw that too at 10:14 when they all started to make offers, she looked really worried

It's like an episode of The Office 😂
Producers: Jenny we need you in tomorow to record the last episode
Jenny: I'm out
This is the most english title I have ever seen.
i don't even know what is says

@@LegalizeTheNuclearBomb LoL ... in school when we used to learn english we had not separate US or UK english :D and both are so different
Except there’s a grammatical error in the title which spoils it somewhat.
Peter just earned my respect with that logical u-turn.
he didn't let his personal opinions get in the way of a potentially good product or an even better business partner.
That's why he is a multi millionaire
I swear the camera man is trying to get an upskirt of Debra, every time.
Oh yeah... Jenny: I'm out, etc
Nice👍
Carlos Nightman When?
“There’s something about you that’s just horrible” 😂😂😂
Such a crazy statement to be offering
@@johnsmith-wx5fb In business terms it could actually be considered a compliment.

Heston Bluementhals brother
Harry Hill also.

I was confused when the narrator intially said they received 4 offers. Then I remembered Jenny was there

It's her only phrase
