The fact that you can physically see that the bottles have been used shows she truly does use the products. I’ve always loved Rihanna, she truly seems proud of what she puts out and stays authentic to herself.

Cassandra explained toners as balancing the pH of the skin. She is talking about American toners(which usually have witchhazel) . In Korea, a toner is the pore refining and hydrating step coz its the first leave on product in their routine, so it will really penetrate coz its put on fresh, clean skin. The reason they don't really need a balancing toner in Korea is coz the cleanser is usually gentle enough that it doesn't strip the skin and leave it at too high of a pH

Isn’t that what an essence is? Basically a hydrating serum. To my knowledge toners aren’t really popular in Korean skincare.
@@yoh175 speaking in korean skincare languae, honestly at this stage of age toners serums and essences are pretty much the same thing with the biggest difference in how thick the ointment is. The three are all more focused on hydrating rather than moisturizing/creating a barrier, with the extra special ingredients for the extra Oomph!. I guess essences are more think and are usually consisting of one major ingredient which is why it was called an "essence" in the first place (for it essentially only had the essential ingredient as the main factor of the product thingamajink) but this can be applied to serums and toners as well, especially serums, yeah the three are pretty interchangeable. It just depends on yout preference and skintype. I honestly prefer toners.

Agree! I love Cass, Hyram, and Dr. Dray for sure! I also like James W for the Korean beauty products and appreciate when he lets his audience know if they are fragrance free or not since I cannot use fragrance stuff on my face.
Hyram is so biased he bashed soo many brands because they have fragrance in their products...yet because its rihanna the products are SOO GOOD even though all have fragrance...so disappointed...i prefer Cassandra and dr Dray instead....

I’ve been using Fenty Skin for more than a year and I just love it ❤️ you can see the quality and love that she puts in all of her products.
This is perfect for people who get treatments such as fillers and peels etc. done on their face and have flawless skin. They dont need anything else like we do. That's why her skincare routine is just her products maybe.
Yeah but she wears makeup a lot so she should probably double cleanse. Also a moisturizer without spf would be ideal at night. Other than that yes her skincare is fine when she probably gets treatments done by professionals.
Yeah exactly that’s why celebrity skincare routines rub me the wrong way. Your skin is one of the easiest things to improve, if you have adequate resources. Everything from Botox to plasmalifting to fillers. Celebrities have access to all of these which is why them selling skincare for “good skin” is so disingenuous imo

I am 23 and have a chronic illness and immune defect and hypersensitivity. My skin has really had it all; cystic acne, perioral dermatitis, ezema, hives, allergic reactions, infections, fungus you name it. You where one of the first people I saw having a holistic approach and at the same time being very real about the benefits and and downside with medication.
I have tried harsh medication and also tried literally putting lemon juice on my face on its worse. I have gone on diets, taken supplements and treatment all for making my skin and health better. it's an accent thing, shes said she doesn't mind it pronounced either way. Americans say "Rihaanna" and Europeans the way she says it.
She has been saying this forever. I think during Rated R or Loud era, she said it is pronounced REEANNA, but everyone says Reeaunah, so it does not bother her.

There is enough good brands and factories in the world which mean enough pollution for the world. Yup thats exacrly what she said in her interviews. Its a starter pack and that she is going to basically build it up step by step so as to not confuse people especially beginners with 100000 products at once..as when she too was starting out that confused her as to what was for her and what wasn't. So you are spot on about that. I highly reccommend watching her interviews about it so it doesnt seem like she's out here lying or falsifying stuff. I see people saying her skin care line is trash but.. i implore you guys to listen to her interviews and hear what she's saying. She blatantly said its for beginners to make it easy for them and she's gonna ease into more products rather than hitting people full force. The target for this launch are beginners which is smart because then when she gets into the juicy stuff she wont only have those who already are in the know about skin care but also bringing in those who are new to it as well.. it's smart and will hit a wider consumer base i.e. me a Medical lab student (2 years in..im a newbie) who really does not know about skin care except the water component, eating healthy, eating fresh, eating natural and most importantly detoxing your system. So far so good i had back acne, chest acne and facial acne and it's cleared. What we consume plays a huge part in these things.
FACTS ! Just like she did with Fenty Beauty . She dropped 50 shades of foundation and then gradually added more and more make up as time passed . Maybe its not the best thing out there but it is definitely quality stuff.

I’m now going to binge watch your videos because my boyfriend has expressed to me that he wants me to find him skincare and hair products that are as natural as possible. And your videos that break down brands and their products and their ingredients are SO HELPFUL. I also used to work at Sephora (got laid off because of the lock down) and I wish I would’ve found your videos way back then when I was working because the amount of times I got stuck in the skincare area and was so lost on some products 😂😂

She will definitely come out with a nighttime moisturizer. I also expect her to come with a chemical exfoliator and a mask. When she came out with Fenty Beauty, she also just started with three make up products, and has been adding more products to the range as time went by. Fenty Skin will probably also expend.

Good morning! Yes I was waiting for this video. I had to stop using the niacinamide from the ordinary. I think I was breaking out. So now I’m using the squalane cleanser, the hyaluronic acid, and the moisturizer.
If I ever wear makeup/sunblock I always use a double cleanser its AMAZING I'm never going back to single cleanse again.

I use the same routine at night and in the morning. I tried curology where they have a different moisturizer at night and didn’t see any difference. But this actually convinced me to try Fenty’s skin care line since I don’t have any major issues (eg acne, rosacea, etc) and I mostly just want to cleanse, tone, and moisturize my facial skin.

Hi Cassandra, not sure if you will read this, but I just wanted to let you know what a difference you have made in my life. I found your channel about 2 months ago and love every one of your videos. Since learning from you, my skin has never looked better in my entire life! I suffered with acne for a long time and even did a round of accutane, it left me with a lot of acne scars and pigmentation. After learning from your videos about the science behind skincare, your skincare reactions, and your honest reviews of The Ordinary, I am IN LOVE with my skin. I don't even wear face makeup anymore, even to work. I had been trying to hide my skin since 8th grade (and I graduated from college 2 years ago) and now finally I don't have to hide anymore. Most of their stuff is fine but some have fragrant essential oils like Geraniol, Citronellol, Linalool, etc, if thats something you avoid

Yeah I definitely am going with my usual moisturizer for my night time routine and using my Luna oil with it. I do love the cleanser and fat water so far. I'm giving it a run. If she does like she did with her makeup line , she will have another drop soon, I see eye cream and night cream in the future.

It's not bad for skin and she has not released a night moisturiser yet plus if it means people will wear Spf all the Time without thinking about it is not a bad thing cos she knows black people think we don't need protection. If it was damaging to the planet or your skin I would have problem 👌🏽

JoemJagiya no lmao that’s not how that works. most sunscreens are moisturizers already. you definitely shouldn’t be using spf at night. i’m tired of people saying you can use it at night cause it’s a mOiStuRizeR SPF. sunscreen should not be applied at night your skin needs a break period ! y’all love marketing terms lmao
