- Hello ladies and gentleman here is a brutal one for you can you beat fallout New Vegas with 1 endurance and no healing it's going to be fun and references a plenty and of course making a couple of mistakes along the way so let's see if we got what it takes!

I think trigger discipline is bad for characters that snipe due to the low spread on them making the 20% accuracy increase negligible while the slower shots can make clearing a group of 3 people take noticeably longer and cost more AP. its useful for long range sniping in vats but the trick of use vats to get near enough to the target and then manually taking the shot is preferably most of the time when you have low spread weapons (vats is a liar when it comes to chance to hit anyway).
yeah, i see your point and agree I took it mainly for the one shot kill if someone using melee closes the gap but normally i wouldn't take it but it's an okay perk but it is very situational
I'm in the middle of a Survival run on Fallout 4 with 3 endurance and I can't believe how vulnerable it makes you having low endurance. I think you're right, stealth is probably the only way to go. 👍
It's pretty tough, I took the approach of get distance and range from the enemy and as a bonus use stealth very glass cannon sort of run
Nice run! Here are some helpful NV tips for the next one.
Sneak caps at 50 for detection. I don't know why, but I've read it and tested it myself. Unless you're shooting for perks it's pointless to invest past that, unfortunately.
Travel Light will give you enough movement speed to go straight from the road to the fence along the left-hand side at Nellis, avoiding all damage without having to worry about timing so long as you don't get caught on anything.
You can find the unique Grenade Rifle, Thump-Thump, in the area with all the ants at Nellis, which has only a 25 Explosives requirement, making it excellent to replace the Mercenary's Grenade Rifle if you'd like. It also sometimes gives you an instant reload, which is, y'know, an effect.
And unrelated to the current video but potentially relevant in the future: 8 Perception, 7 Charisma, 8 Intelligence, and 9 Luck will grant you access to all the SPECIAL stat speech checks. Luck is the least impactful, with I believe only 2 checks in the entire game (the robot that wants ice cream and Caesar's headache).

that is ridiculously helpful thankyou I opted to just simply avoid damage and used sneak to get some perks, but other then that yeah it was stupidly difficult and any advice like this is 11/10 (salutes you for the excellent advice)
What? No. Sneak 100 give you noticeable difference. With sneak 100 you can even sneak in front of an NPC (depends on the range).. Cant do that with sneak 50
@@akundaruratkalalupa9710 I promise you, I've tested it myself and there are tons of other who have documented it online. I didn't believe it until I played around at 50 Sneak for a full run the first time, and I just discovered it like a year ago despite playing the game a few times a year since its release. It's either true or so close to true that the extra 50 point investment is not worth it. I recommend testing it yourself in a run; I think you'll be surprised.
@@NJoCaulfield would you mind to show vids? Because the last time i hear 50 sneak = 100 sneak are rather not concrete. When i play too, its different when im only sneak 50 and sneak 100. Yes, in sneak 50 i can still easily pickpocket from behind. But in sneak 100 you can even pickpocket from the sides, and a bit to the front even as long as its not directly in front of the NPC
If you don't mind me asking, how did you test the Sneak detection? I have two builds, the first with 60 Sneak, the second with 100 Sneak. I find that the first build gets detected all the time unless he's directly behind a NPC, the second can basically get close enough to smell the NPC before she gets detected at all. I should mention I have no Sneak perks for either of the builds.

I've been meaning to watch this one and finally got to it, and I'm not disappointed, I thought this would be crazy hard but having the Ratslayer really helps early game, great job!
Yeah ratslayer has a x5 critical damage which is crazy and since its silent you can sneak attack for days like I said jackpot early weapon even helps later on when you want to silently take out threats too
@@InsaneFrame In all my playing of Fallout New Vegas, I never got that gun, not that I remember anyway, but I will remember it in future playthroughs, lol!

@@anthonypiacentini3367 yeah pretty much, lol, I've got one started myself, need to get back to it.
I've found the best way to get to Nellis is to down a couple of Turbos and run like hell, the shells fall behind you. Also sneak does nothing over 50, after that it's only useful for perks like the Commando one you took.

@@InsaneFrame It's not so much fun for companions who get hit instead. I'm glad I'm watched this video because I'd forgotten about the Ratslayer so when I started a new game earlier I thought I'd try and get it at level 1 on very hard, I was soon reminded of how much damage those rats do, it took multiple tries but I got it in the end, now I can have some fun with it.

Loved how you said you needed to be level 11 for the rifle to spawn but miss it in the gun runners shop.
Also not sure if you say you can't do the great khans quest without going to the fort you can actually just go to red rock canyon. Talk to papa khan and then you can ask him to end the alliance with the legion, and if you want them to fight with you on the dam you can even kill papa and put regie on the thrown and he will fight with the NCR
That was a mistake on my part yes the anti material rifle is avalible at any level, I completley missed it
"The coolest thing in the Fallout franchise ever" You forgetting that you can get the Enclave remnants to arrive in a vertibird in power armour and shit to help in the battle?
I will say the enclave arriving to reinforce in power armour is up there but... bomber, it's a bomber a flying in fallout!!!
I love how in fallout new Vegas the 1 endurance has the words basically dead on it to really tell you how weak the character is

I played this challenge but with one life and no loading saves if I take damage. The best strategy was to get as much legion and ncr fame for neither of them to shoot you. Then you do yes man and use speech checks and sneak attacks at hoover dam.
This is an excellent video, very good job. Also try beating Fallout 4 with only one item only in your inventory (excluding quest items)

an interesting challenge, and one I sort of do when I usually play FONV-well, not the no healing thing, but minimal healing to conserve supplies, and usually using a stealth sniper build (with close range shotgun backup, love NV shotguns) to try and end fights super quickly. Don't know if you've done it already or not, but a fun challenge I set for myself and have done a few times is doing lonesome road right at the start of the game. The earliest parts with the security bots is the hardest, but still manageable since I'm pretty sure there are emp grenades and the electric arc weapon that are very effective against robots, and you can shut down some of them before they even go online with hacking checks. Focusing on speech is useful to get the many high level speech checks that are in the DLC and give good EXP, as well as the alt ending that needs 100 speech if you haven't done a lot of faction quests (which you wouldn't have if you run straight to lonesome road at the start of the game)

4:06, his health bar is not full then increases after a cut.
I reloaded a save, as I took damage but didn't edit it out so hold my hands up there and then theres when I went to the legions camp too but took the damage on the Dam
Now I’m wondering how bad it’d be as a melee build with this same challenge.
it wouldn't be impossible but it would be stupidly hard only way, could see it going well is using a death-claw gauntlet and going for a crit strike build

You can get the evidence for the Khans from Karls foot locker, you also got fully healed when you when to save Kimble.
the khan questline never takes you to caesers fort. the most you go is outside cottonwood cove to rescue the drug runner.
I really love the nv runs can you try to beat nv by only using uniques with no skill toward the uniques?
I do have a really tough challenge in the future regarding the new vegas DLC's sort of on the same lines

@@InsaneFrame You can't use the keyboard to control the game, all inputs have to be done with the mouse.
You'd need to the game's controls to use the mouse inputs.

At 9:53 you said you couldn’t get the anti material rifle but there’s one in the shop for the clip listed as part of the gun runners arsenal. Was there a clip out of place or did you just miss it?
I just missed it was all caught it in the editing but just carried on as usual but got it in the end i will admit i also made the mistake that it required 6 strength when actually it requires 8 but we got to snipe the legate so it's cool :D

Hey I’ve had an idea and I would like to see if anyone would even be interested. The idea being “can you beat Days gone with only melee weapons” or “Can you beat days gone with only the starting pistol” . I really have no clue if this would be good.

@@InsaneFrame try do the game with a. Varmint rifle because I tried it and it’s fun and if you want to make it harder no attachments and I did this when I first started so I accidentally played the whole game against legion so i got soft lock because I only had 200 caps too
this makes me want to play nv so badly but my ps3 is long gone ;-;

So, you wouldn’t allow yourself to make healing items to sell? Why is that? Healing items would be good for some extra caps to buy specialized ammo, weapons, mods and decent armor. I’m genuinely confused. But wonderful video! I’d definitely would like to try this with all DLC as well!

Did you notice the AntiMaterial rifle you could have bought when you mentioned you had to be level 11?
Unless you were lvl 11 in that clip and was just showing that you had to be?
I did during the editing and was like oh... right... but you are correct yeah you don't have to be lvl 11 i was lvl 9 at that point but we made benny do a backflip so it was worth it ;)

Originally wanted to suggest being required to wear Powder Ganger armor only since they're supposed to be hated by both NCR and Legion but in-game, the Legion doesn't seem to mind.
@@datclown9380 this sounds amazing quite frankly :D the only viable option would be Yes man or Mr house but seems doable so I'll defintley have a go at it :D
@@InsaneFrame definitely a murder-y playthrough. I'd love to see it done with Mr. House but the securitrons might just be instantly hostile if you're vilified by the Strip.

Before going into the cave at 4:00 his health bar dropped near a Quater but then once in the cave it was back at full? Anyone else notice that
Yes I can explain that, I reloaded the game and to make sure I cleared the cave without taking damage it took about 2 hours lol and I had the vault canteen so made sure to reload and drop it asap

How where you taking fire from two ncr soldiers and barely took any damage but it was showing you where getting shot? the panel after fighting the ncr in the corrections facility you only lost 2 bars being shot about 3+ times with the stand ncr gun that does more damage than that

Technically you can't reload saves as it technically brings your health up higher than it was so try 1 endurance no healing and 1 save
hmmm I would argue saves are allowed but we can try a hardcore version of this in future if that's what your suggesting

i literally play on 1 endurance in every fuckin playthrough because i dont care about health and i can dump points into other things

I went to the legion camp and reloaded a save it healed me up, didn't realise until the hooverdam battle hence took some damage on purpose (and a little extra to make sure)
