@Nerbit It most certainly is. Limiting yourself to no healing pretty much makes you lose out on almost everything in the game, but makes the ending with the challenge complete all the more satisfying.

Also, as far as the armor goes, since both the Mechanist and Antagonizer armors have the same stats, the former was used in Jon's FO3 KE run, though he went by "The Great Brit-Ant".

I got a future video idea for you: could you beat Fallout 4 as Arthur Morgan, you can only use western weapons or weapons that appear in rdr2 (such as the double-barrel shotgun) and you have to wear western attire, your adjectives in this challenge would be to complete any heists that come your way, same with bounties and you have to find all (or just a lot) of the named guns (a reference to how Arthur could take named guns from mostly named enemies in red dead) and the final challenge would be to get the mole rat disease and die to it at the very end of the challenge.
Hey, just started watching you a few days ago after playing through New Vegas myself. Have you ever considered doing a play through with randomized skills and perks? As in, every time you level up, you use a random number generator to determine which skill you put points into and how many points you allocate? I love seeing how you adapt to changing situations in your runs and I’d love to see what you’d do if you could ONLY improvise.
So little fun fact, in addition to fully healing you, the rest at hoover dam before the president's visit, if you are playing on hardcore, your thirst, hunger, and sleep meters are fully restored as well.
2:25 jesus christ i'd die without that thing 7:20 fun fact about that guy: once had him go hostile cause new vegas is new vegas and he DOES NOT DIE, he'll go unconscious but not die-die, guess not to break the encounter ig
Oooh, this one’s gonna be a goodie! Just thought of a challenge btw, Skyrim but with only Daedric atrifacts. Luckily you have anniversary edition, otherwise good luck surviving with only saviours hide.
It's a small detail that doesn't matter much in the long run, but for the AM rifle, Match hand loads are always better than armor piercing. +15% damage boost on a weapon with 100 base damage vs -15 armor and a damage penalty. Also it's unintuitive but explosive rounds don't actually give you more damage. They just add a damage radius for crowd control.
Considering I've seen Mitten Squad beat NV without taking any damage, and I've seen several people beat NV as a pacifist, I already know going into this that, yes, it is absolutely possible to beat Fallout: New Vegas without healing. Obviously, right? That said, I'm still going to spend the next 20 minutes of my life watching this video, because, while I've seen others do those aforementioned challenges, they're not Nerbit, in this video, getting into his own unique brand of trouble.
I think the all American would have been the best shot for this run, sure the vault part is hard and lots of rads, but it’s great at distances and close range, 5.56 is cheap and readily available, while also having access to AP ammo, I don’t the AMR very hard to accurately hit my shots, (even with a higher strength, trigger discipline and 100 guns skill) and it’s slow fire speed hurts when you miss
Here's two challenges: Can You Beat FNV with only Caps from Caravan?: Can only use gear purchased with caps. Caps can only be earned via caravan.(Your starting caps can be used for caravan) and cards can be obtained in any legitimate way. Once caps are earned via caravan, you can spend them however you wish. Can You Beat FNV With The Compliance Regulator?: The Compliance Regulator is a unique laser pistol in Honest Hearts that swaps out damage for it's unique fatigue on crit effect, of which is has a high crit chance, but deals rather low damage.
Honestly all of these can you beat challenges you do in fallout and Skyrim. So I had a bit of a different one since it’s a bit rare to do, trying to beat Fallout 4 or New Vegas as a Cloaker from PayDay. As in a pistol or SMG are your main firearms, batons and nightsticks are the only melee weapons and you have to have a Sam Fisher looking outfit. Cloaker is usually rather hostile and tends to quite sarcastic so passive aggressive responses are necessary. They are real sneaky and agile so probably 7-9 for perception and agility. a little squishy so endurance might be around 3-5. And Charisma is easily 1 since he’s a bit of an ass.
This is a challenge I said multiple times while watching, "man, this would be epic to try. Let me go start a new character on Skyrim since I got no fallout games". Then proceeded to go, "uhhhh, maybe not"
To add on to my comment from the last video of beating a fallout as Walter Hartwell white you could only use fists and handguns (I would say the chiacl explosive he uses but no real parriels between anything that I can think of) the only armor you can use is dress clothes, fordora, glasses and a rad suit obviously 8f you find a breaking bad mod use that. (not sure on stats just 10 inteligence and if you play fallout 3 or new vegas have 100 in science before end of run because meth :] ) love the videos have a good day ❤🙂
In the repconn headquarters right next to the dead brotherhood soldiers you can loot a suitcase next to a skeleton, that contains the key to the very hard lock and let’s you get the Q-35 mattermodulator, a better plasma rifle

“Setting your sights” on something grander huh? That was a pretty funny sniper joke.
2:25 jesus christ i'd die without that thing
7:20 fun fact about that guy: once had him go hostile cause new vegas is new vegas and he DOES NOT DIE, he'll go unconscious but not die-die, guess not to break the encounter ig
Adding the DLC especially Dead Money would make this a million times harder.
The courier cheated death and developed a fear of pain
That insert of mgs3 was brillient
Oooh, this one’s gonna be a goodie!
Just thought of a challenge btw, Skyrim but with only Daedric atrifacts.
Luckily you have anniversary edition, otherwise good luck surviving with only saviours hide.
shows up, kills entire hord of fire-ants, leaves without explanation.
Jon over on Many a True Nerd did a You Only Live Once run in a number of Fallout games. Highly entertaining.
The anti material rifle and the bloody mess perk make it a nightmare to loot sometimes
well done! this reminds me of the stealth archer videos Mitten did.
They just add a damage radius for crowd control.
this is 100% more interesting than a no hit run
Considering I've seen Mitten Squad beat NV without taking any damage, and I've seen several people beat NV as a pacifist, I already know going into this that, yes, it is absolutely possible to beat Fallout: New Vegas without healing. Obviously, right? That said, I'm still going to spend the next 20 minutes of my life watching this video, because, while I've seen others do those aforementioned challenges, they're not Nerbit, in this video, getting into his own unique brand of trouble.
So, basically, it's "Can I beat Fallout New Vegas with the American healthcare system."
I think the all American would have been the best shot for this run, sure the vault part is hard and lots of rads, but it’s great at distances and close range, 5.56 is cheap and readily available, while also having access to AP ammo, I don’t the AMR very hard to accurately hit my shots, (even with a higher strength, trigger discipline and 100 guns skill) and it’s slow fire speed hurts when you miss
but how will you ever get comedic moments without taking a sip from your trusty vault 13 canteen?!
Here's two challenges:
Can You Beat FNV with only Caps from Caravan?: Can only use gear purchased with caps.
Then proceeded to go, "uhhhh, maybe not"
sounds as pleasant as playing STALKER Clear Sky (a game where you play as haemophilliac) with no healing
(not sure on stats just 10 inteligence and if you play fallout 3 or new vegas have 100 in science before end of run because meth :] ) love the videos have a good day ❤🙂
Here's a challenge idea : Play Fallout as Patrick Bateman
As i have seen many edits of Bateman in Fallout games
In the repconn headquarters right next to the dead brotherhood soldiers you can loot a suitcase next to a skeleton, that contains the key to the very hard lock and let’s you get the Q-35 mattermodulator, a better plasma rifle
