Thanks! You are speaking to me directly! I needed to hear this so bad. 31 and I’m sick of it. It’s not worth it at all and I wasted so many years of my life trying to get high! It’s not for everyone! Thank you for sharing!
Yup ,,, some come to see it ..... And some never will . I started at 15 , by 21 I became aware I was going nowhere . Dropped it ! in just 2 years I owned my own home , then went on to get my own business going . Ain't looking back .
18 days sober for me, best decision I’ve ever could of made. Whoever reading this, just know you can quit too. Put your mind to it, & you can do anything💯💯👌🏾
Personally, all the years and all the the money spent by me on that shit, was a mf'n waste! Glad I woke the hell up. I know of literally 2 people who chronically use, and are very successful, but by far, the vast majority are going absolutely no where, and sliding down ward. The feeling of "high" is a big delusion.
Ok, but if you did not pratice sport and some positive hobby while "High on weed" it's your own fault, not the Marijuana's fault... I smoked too much and spent too much money on it, but it was not like wasting it on the lotto 😂
I have 22 days. From the age of 12 to 37 with a 3 year pause due to my military service. I'm the same. If I'm smoking I go all in. Since I got out in 2014 it's almost been exclusively dabbing. 15-20 dabs a day easy. I'm definitely emotionally stunted because of it but as the days go by I feel my brain working that issue out. My anger issues were out of control when I was using it. So much for the chill calm stoner stereotype. I couldn't even handle an ounce of stress before I would inevitably overreact and throw myself into a panic attack. Then dab more to try and calm myself down. Maybe an edible too if I was feeling extra panicked. What an idiot. Never again. Life is way way way better without it. Good video, man. Keep it up. It's nice to see others that share almost the exact same experiences regarding this substance.
Good for you man! Thanks for your honesty. You should be damn proud of yourself. A lot of guys can’t break the habit. Sweet bike! Ride safe and congratulations on being clean.
Hey brother at 10:32 really resonated with me. Spending 250 dollars a month on weed on a low month around 500 on a high month. Weed doesnt hit me even 1/1000 as much as it did. I last month to be my last. I'm 4 days clean and a new job. Planning on buying my first bike hopefully sometime next year like a speed 400 (something light before i get the goregous yellow triple rs). Glad you quit, gives motivation to guys like us.
Don't know how your video showed up in my home page, but I found it so valuable and related so much. While watching I though "hey this guy is talking about my life"! Really loved your honesty and the idea you made it gave me relief. I'm making it too, after 20 years of wasting my potential and losing opportunities and so much more. Thanks for sharing, really. Wish u all the best, cheers from Italy.
This is probably one of the best videos I've seen on yt! I love the FL scenery the go pro on the bike was lit! The voiceover story was perfection! Just know there's so many ppl who need this msg myself included! Appreciate you bro ❤ sending out those positive vibes!
I stopped last year. 3 months now. It makes you lose focus as well and starts to affect your short term memory. Spiritually as a man, it drains your male energy. The more you smoke weed, the more you become less human, and more of a weed . Definitely doing better now👍
I’m going through a similar thing bro, I’m 21 now and been smoking for 5 years and I just now realized how much I’ve lost. I would’ve graduated from college a whole year ago and moved onto medical school but I let it get out of control. I’m just glad I realized this now instead of later on where I’d probably be flunking out of med school or not even being able to get into it.
Hey bro, Well done you for having the strength to quit something you love and also sharing it with the world. I have just started logging my daily withdrawal and recovery from cannabis. this shits not easy. im on day 26. it feels good. Im hungry to start my truck driving career. Need this shit out my system as there will be routine drug tests. Keep strong. I just subbed, and will be watching all your vids. Many thanks brother.
Great talk dude, from real experience. If I think back to my early 20s self, would I have listened to the advice I have to share now? Hard to say.. would I have still taken that E from someone I didn't know? maybe, maybe not. The time it takes to be ready to move on with your life and take it in a different direction is different for everybody.
Don’t beat yourself up. Everyone matures at their own pace. In a way marijuana got you where you are today. You didn’t get into the hard drugs. (I assume). Not an alcoholic. Which is harder on young people. And before gunshots became the leading killer of young people, it was suicide. Some people need a crutch to get thru the coming of age years. You hit maturity at 33. George W Bush did it at 34. Have a great life!
Hey man im 20 years old. And i havent been smoking weed as much as you did but I could tell it was limiting my pontential to grow. I think I might smoke less and or even cut out cannabis now. Thank you!
This may be controversial, but maybe not here. Once I quit weed for a good year and got involved with my friends who smoke again, they tried to push it harder on me than I smoked. I swear it’s a “demon” that gets passed around. Like “uh huh, YOU don’t need it?” to prove their use is acceptable. Then whenever I fall back into the cycle, guess what they quit or start saying “I’m trying to smoke less.” It’s an uncanny thing that repeats itself in newer friend groups, too. I think this observation can be applied to many other things, good or bad, in life. Crabs in a bucket…
ive quit for 3 days now after relapsing for 4 months after 8 months sober and in the end I had the exact same symptoms you are talking about like chest tightness etc.. It feels like I could get a stroke any minute and Istill would smoke but immediately my heart would feel strange and I just wanted it to quit but I basically had to finish my joint because I had to finish it. That moment I realized that weed was nothing but a curse.
I guess I’m lucky because at 68 years I can roll a joint-take 3/4 hits take the edge off and leave it at that. Sitting around with fellow smokers smoking joint after joint was never for me. I tend to go for a long hike which I believe connects me to the hills and mountains I’m walking in.
@@EriktheRaids82Dyou just need to lower you tolerance to zero and then develope a habit that it wont rise again. its really that simple but noone wants to quit for a while and then act like a responsible human being. everyone who quits for 3 days makes a video about how it changed their life not understandig that this is also not reality and still an imbalanced brain chemistry^^ all you gotta do is break out of the high tolerance circle which every stoner finds themselves in at some ponint and learn from that mistake. ah yeah and please dont make a video about it. theres 23 uploads per day and after some weeks they never upload again bc yeah. stopping for a week did in fact not change their life 😅
