After watching the whole thing ill say you have some very good points but alot of them are bases on oersonal experience and thats not fair to everyone. Especially after saying you dont speak in absolutes. My dispensary is full of usually older men and women who own businesses in my area.
@@AnimeFever121 thanks for watching the video. Yes this is just my opinion based on my personal experiences. I’m still not smoking weed and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
@@The_Man_Welding That is a respectable decision! It takes strength to walk away from something, it takes true will power to walk away from something you don't really want to walk away from. I respect that!
The first 5 minutes explain how both you and weed were to young and still developing.
How much did you pay out the door?
it was around $13,500 with a lifetime battery warranty, some gloves, tax tag and title.
Good shit, thanks for sharing. I'll add to it: I used to be addicted to heroin for 10 years or so. One day I just decided to quit, so I did--cold turkey. I had to literally cut off every single person I knew (except my immediate family, of course). All of my friends were toxic and detrimental to my sobriety, so I had to leave them behind. Idle time is your #1 enemy. You have to have a reason for quitting in the first place, something you can cling onto and never look back. You have to quit because you want to quit, not because other people want you to quit. I prayed to God as I hit an absolute rock bottom, and begged Him to give me something to fight for so I could leave that life behind. Next thing you know... I bootstrapped a startup, and i worked my ass off on it. Literally putting in 36-48hr days multiple days/week. I'm basically retired now at 38. The company is still going strong. It took me over 3-4 months just to come up with the name of the company. I had a whiteboard and went HAM on the business plan, the entire business model, etc. I became obsessed. I disagree with people that "count the days" of their sobriety. It's like you're subconsciously not able to let go. I couldn't tell you when I quit, but it was some time around 2014 lol. I have no desire to ever do that shit again. Anyway, the loneliness factor you're describing is basically a symptom of idle time. Keep yourself busy, pick up new hobbies, and be careful with the new people you meet. Virtually every new acquaintance I'd meet started out cool, then I'd eventually learn they were either drug dealers or were doing drugs to an excessive degree. No bueno. You always want to stay tf away from any sort of clubbing or party scene as that's a recipe for disaster and you'll relapse with the quickess. I never went to rehab, never relapsed, etc, because I made my mind up the day I quit. I was tired of being a slave to the drug, my entire life revolved around getting high and waiting in parking lots for hours. The repeat cycle, downward spiral into oblivion was insane. I was stuck in a loop that gradually got worse as time progressed. I was a highly "functional addict" and hardly anyone knew about my addiction. Like you mentioned, another reason is people don't want to deal with the emotions that begin to bubble up to the surface once you become sober. You can no longer hide from them, you can't bury and suppress them by your substance of choice. Depending on people's life experience, this can be difficult to deal with initially. This is why you need to keep yourself busy. Find some heavy interests and passions and submerge yourself in them. You'll eventually replace your destructive habits with more productive ones over time. I disagree with the entire AA philosophy and that's how a lot of drug addicts network with each other, same with rehab places. I know from seeing many of my friends go in and out of those places for years, only to have a larger network of contacts than they had prior to entering rehab. My ex gf was on Suboxone for years and years. It just replaced heroin for her. Saw the same thing with people getting methadone. They are taken advantage of and gaslit by Big Pharma thinking that they're getting sober when in reality they're replacing a street drug with a pharmaceutical grade, synthetic variant of opioids. Most of us started on OxyContin anyway. If you truly want to be sober, it's as simple as just deciding to quit, but, again, you need something to fight for, you need a reason as to why you're quitting.
@@hodlwise2470 I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and leave your comment. You obviously know what you’re talking about and I agree with your points. I’m proud of you man 👊🏼 keep it up
@@The_Man_Welding You as well, man. It's not easy to leave a lifestyle of addiction. Takes a lot of will power. Unfortunately, a lot of people get trapped into the world of addiction. I'm proud of you for kicking your habit(s) and wish nothing but the best for you. I'm about to buy an Aprilia RS660 as my first bike, too. It's how I found your channel. Ride safe, my dude. God bless 🙏
This may be controversial, but maybe not here. Once I quit weed for a good year and got involved with my friends who smoke again, they tried to push it harder on me than I smoked. I swear it’s a “demon” that gets passed around. Like “uh huh, YOU don’t need it?” to prove their use is acceptable. Then whenever I fall back into the cycle, guess what they quit or start saying “I’m trying to smoke less.” It’s an uncanny thing that repeats itself in newer friend groups, too. I think this observation can be applied to many other things, good or bad, in life. Crabs in a bucket…
@@cameron.t yeah man. Fuck that shit life’s better without it 👊🏼

Your story sounds very similar to mine. I was looking for a motorcycle to upgrade from my cbr500r that I been riding for the past 11 years. Great bike going to work. .I wanted a major upgrade and was comparing the HORSEPOWER to price. Suzuki 8r, Ninja ZX6r, and then the Aprilia RS 660. The Aprilia dealership was close to my job. .and they gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. I did my research for about 4 months, seen all 3 bikes up close and personal. .talked to the appropriate salesman. Almost got the Suzuki 8r. .but the Aprilia's horsepower for SAME price beat it. The aprilia may be an Italian bike. .but I'm Portuguese. .and I'm sticker decal'n it to have a Portuguese theme. Portuguese flag, christian cross, etc. btw. .my aprilia has the exact color scheme as yours. Great choice. .not too flashy. .but the style does stand out. I get more guys admiring it as opposed to women. .what's up with that. lol
Great thumbnail. It pulled me in
@@daveeabelle appreciate it
That is beautiful when will you upload the video from the lake today me and my brother asked you about it
Ill probably have it posted this weekend
Ok I am really excited to see more of your adventures
Generally speaking, starting on lower CC motorcycle is beneficial for the rider's confidence and ability in the long run as it allows the rider to push the bike and experience the limits with larger margin of error. As you said yourself, second-hand market for motorcycles are still very high. You should have bought a smaller cc bike to learn on for year or two and upgraded. Since bikes like the Ninja400 are always in demand, you could have bought new, used it for a year and still recoup most of your money 🤷♂ Judging by the video, it appears you have already dropped the bike (broken lever) that's something that could have been avoided by practicing on lower cc bike.
Yes I did drop the bike, a little scratch and broken lever. No big deal to me. I love the bike and I'm definitely happy I choose the RS660 over a smaller displacement bike!
so you give up weed but ride around speeding without motorcycle gear on? okay bro
Precisely 👌🏼
How tall are you? I’m looking at getting one of these and I’m pretty short.
I’m 5’9” and I definitely think someone a few inches shorter wouldn’t have much trouble. I can alllmost flat foot it at red lights but not quite.
Wait... Are you trying to say that in the US they are letting you on the streets without proper course and even a fucking exam? You need at the very least several weeks of training and passing government exam to be running any vehicle save from a 50cm scooter, that can do 45km/h. No wonder the guys at the shop were hesitant. You run your courses and exams on a an MT07 or SV650 where I live.
I took the 3 day MSF course prior to purchasing this bike. That was my only motorcycle experience ever. The test drive was literally my first time riding on the street. USA Baby 😎
@The_Man_Welding I'm planning to buy a Tuono 660 Factory for my first, but except of a mandatory course (20 hours of rides in traffic with the instructor, afteryou prove you've mastered the manouvering) , and an exam (you have two parts: traffic laws and practical) I also plan to take some track courses before I dare to drive a motorcycle. I wonder how it's even legal to drive a motorcycle after a 3 day course. What does your motorcycle driving license exam look like?
Thanks for the video I really appreciate it and first thing I must say is stay safe witch I think you are on track with that... I do agree with new riders that you should see if that bike fits you and you can respect it foremost... because most of the time your gonna out grow it very fast now you gotta find a buyer...you did it right now you can Bond with your bike and in joy it for a few years... and Yes that is one reason for watching your video I'm thinking about buying one also I love Aprilia they are spot on on their bikes.. probably one of the best handling bikes you can find for track and road....and they are sexy as hell my girl is already jealous but she is looking also at Aprilia..... keep posting video's they don't have anything like your video online..... thanks again for your video I'm gonna look for one more to watch before I Head out to make some Cash...
Appreciate your feedback!!!
Fuck weed bro shit made me broke, sad and tired. Not even worth the High yeah it’s funn being high but they people suck
Quit smoking and still didn’t recover enough brain cells to wear gear while riding. Shame
Brain cells don’t regenerate homie
Great video man. I stumbled across the aprilia video because i was looking for a future bike. Funny enough when you said orlando i laughed because I live in New Smyrna. Even funnier Psoriasis covers probably 1/4 or so of my body and you nailed the substance abuse, insecurity and topicals not working. Salt water, sunshine and good diet help me pretty well.
Appreciate you checking out the videos. Have fun getting a bike, ride safe, and keep your head up homie 👊🏼
What trades do you believe are better?
HVAC, plumbing, or electrical would be worth pursuing. I say this because literally every building requires those. So the ability to find “side work” is high and usually profitable and easy once you know what you’re doing.
Dad just got this bike and it’s what I’m learning on. If you respect the bike imo it’s fine to learn on especially with all the tech.
It’s been a great first bike for me
Looks like a good time that’s the next place I wanna go on a cruise to is Alaska

I bargained with Life for a penny, and Life would pay no more, However I begged at evening When I counted my scanty store; Life is a just employer. He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire, Only to learn, dismayed, That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid Jessie B. Rittenhouse This is a quote the i read often.
Your the man man!!! Miss my dude. I think about you and kev often when i think about making crazy decisions.
Love you BRO!! Keep up the amazing work
Awesome video! It's tough when your schoolmates smoke weed and you feel left out. When you're young, you don't think of the risks and long term consequences from smoking. Using any drug before the brain is fully developed at the age of 24 is linked with an increased risk of substance use problems in later life. Our choices in life are simply good or bad, but knowing the full facts can be a protective factor against making the worst dad decisions. Loved the video Steven! Thanks for sharing it with us! 🙌❤
dude you hit so many key points in ths video and a few others ive came across! Thank you man truly!!
Appreciate you watching 👊🏼
You need 2 buckets when cleaning your bike. One to get most of the dirt from the sponge and another for clean water. Rinse the sponge out is dirty nucket first after use and then in the bucket with cleaner water before use again.
Front brake is more than twice as strong as rear brake. Thats how bikes are. I was taught to use the rear for most purposes, but learned rear + a little bit of front seems golden.
Almost have 5000 miles on the bike now. I use both front and rear brakes for most applications as to not condition myself to favor either one too heavily.
34 is very young...lol.
It’s relative. When I say Now that I’m older I’m contrasting it to when I was a teenager and in my 20’s.
I’m in the same boat as u, I’m big and tall and its perfect for me,just broke 400miles so far… love rs600
I’m almost to 5000 on the odometer 🤘🏼
Congrats! I wish I would have quit in my 30s. Life is better without it.
First bike: "A bike I want to grow into". don't be the classic🦑, at least buy a jacket (I recommend bike pants and shoes too) and enjoy your rides!
ive quit for 3 days now after relapsing for 4 months after 8 months sober and in the end I had the exact same symptoms you are talking about like chest tightness etc.. It feels like I could get a stroke any minute and Istill would smoke but immediately my heart would feel strange and I just wanted it to quit but I basically had to finish my joint because I had to finish it. That moment I realized that weed was nothing but a curse.
Yeah man I do not miss those feelings at all!! Stay strong homie!!
Very profound

Exactly what I’m going through living in the country in MS. It’s hard to find people I actually click with on a personal level, so I’ve been isolating and drinking heavily. It’s hell, feel like I can’t even think straight cause my heavy drinking. But everything u said hits the nail on the head for my situation. I’m horrible at social speaking and sharing my feelings with people. Feel like the drinking or drugging relates heavily to stress in a person’s lives. My biggest problem I’ve had really bad experiences in my life with myself and family. Just living in a dysfunctional house puts a-lot of stress on me mentally. Usually I do good once I have built up clean time, just can’t fall for that first drink on it all goes out the window. Here I just had 7 months clean from alcohol last year and stress from this new welding job, I quit due to lower back problems and it being alittle too far. I like that Aprilia. I ride sport bikes as well, had a gsxr 1000 and a R6 was good therapy. I’m currently detoxing off drinking is a nightmare.
Hey bro just know I’m rooting for you and you can do it. Fellow welder and sport bike rider 👊🏼. Thanks for watching homie keep your head up!!!
Hey how tall are you? I’m 6’1”, just wondering for size.
I’m 5’9 on a good day
Awesome video Steven! Loneliness in sobriety is a real concern for many people, and can be a trigger to relapse. You need to build a lot of fortitude to re-frame how you feel and take active measures to avoid isolation by engaging with people in other fulfilling ways. Relapse is a common occurrence on the path to recovery, and it should be seen as an opportunity to learn and adjust treatment strategies rather than as a personal failure. Many thanks for the very helpful video Steven! 🙌❤👍
Thank you for checking it out 👊🏼
Hey man, watched your whole video. It appears your wearing shorts and went through multiple stop signs without stopping on a motorcycle. You have not only broken the law multiple times in your video, but your also not wearing protective gear. At this point I am worried about your safety as a fellow rider. Stop blowing through stop signs, and at least put on some rider jeans with knee pads for protection. I would hate to see you get seriously injured while riding. Good luck man.
Appreciate your concern 👊🏼
Great video, I always hated hearing people say this, especially from people my age. When I hear people say it it screams “Insecurity, lack of confidence, and no ambition”. Literally everyone ages, so when someone says that it makes think that they feel or think less of themselves and that their prime is already behind them. Which is a truly sad way to view yourself. I love the person I am today compared to when I was 18, and it makes me think of the person I’ll be 5 to 10 years from now 👍🏼
Awesome perspective, thanks for checking out the video
