Another thing too it's not a coincidence that they did a tribute act on the anniversary of THE DAY when the world lost a part of itself, not just the families of the 3000 directly (if you understand where I'm coming from). My mom and I were crying our eyes out and even though I have no conscious memory on what went on that day, but I have an understanding on what loss means to everyone.

I love it, they don't need the story, it's great on its own, but the added emotions and all, just made it even better. And if they ever read this, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child. I'll be rewatching this many times for sure.

I was crying this whole act. It depicts the sadness of losing the people we loved most. And I just realized that Lily Meola was one of the former contestants from AGT.

@@josephgilbert36322 seasons ago, Season 17. This very song was her semifinal song. She didn’t make it through to the final. The song was written and dedicated to her mother, who passed away from cancer. In both the song and the performance you can sense the feeling of loss and hope.

I’m just a random adult male, I haven’t had a genuine cry in over a decade, but this performance actually had me shedding tears. The beautiful visuals and music, the meaning behind it. Had me thinking about life - my life and life in general - and all the meaningful moments I’ve shared with others, and the moments I’ve missed out on, and the fact that I’ll one day be gone, the impermanence of everything. Truly moving for me and my favorite performance of the night

I lost my baby sister 3 yrs ago this month. She was 63. She was a 🦋person, tht was her symbol in life. I was emotionally in awe at this performance, the display & song, so touchingly beautiful, gd luck to you in the results.

Sky elements have better make it to the finals. They deserve it more then all of the other semifinalists, by far the biggest most very hard-working visual programming effects that has ever been on America’s got talent. how in the world can you make each and every one of those thousands of drones turn into the right colors, moving to the right exact spots at the right time while being a 100 ft in mid air?
That takes serious skills and ideas even if you have the right equipment, it kinda now makes sense why Simon would give them the golden buzzer, even though he already had one. I would fly all the way to Texas just to see one of their beautiful sky light shows.
No one deserve it more this season than

Oh my. When I first heard this song by Lily Meola, I broke down, because of the anticipatory grief for my little girl. And now your gift you added.. I’m so emotional. I will never ever in my life forget the image of the drone dad letting go of his sweet angel. It’s so heartbreaking yet beautiful. Thank you.
I'll be shocked if this act doesn't win top 3.. Great backstory. Wonderful story of loss and endurance Visually stimulating and touching. Like orchestrated fireworks.
Using drones to touch hearts and entertain rather than to destroy. Awesome use of the song "Butterfly" by Lily Meola (she was a contestant two years ago on AGT, lost her mother to cancer after being her caregiver, and received the golden buzzer from Heidi. Actually shocked she didn't mention it!)
Such a unique talent with your drones. I'm pulling for your act.
I definitely can see this make top 5. Richard Goodall, Learnmore, and Ashes & Arrows might be top 5 bound as well. But Sky Elements will need to step up even more because this piece is now their benchmarker. If they can make their finale piece surpass this, then they might win it all.

This was my favorite act this season. It was so beautifully done and heartfelt. I’m hoping they win this season.
They really outdid themselves with this performance. This isn't the type of thing I would watch much of but the pairing of the song and the imagery turned on some tears. It was magic. Well done.

Wow !!!! What a day to have this one, 9/11, so many lost and those we continue to lose from 9/11 related illnesses. The lose of a loved one is so heartbreaking 💔, when a child is lost…there are no words. I’m with Simon so lost for words. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful daughter’s life. I saw my niece in this. 🤗🩷🤗🩷🙏🙏
I'm not really sure what the story was representing . . . I mainly catch AGT here on RUclips so the background stories get missed. I was pulling for a couple of the others like Richard, et. al., but watching this performance and tearing up for whatever reason . . . knowing how difficult it to fly ONE drone no less a hundred or so . . . and even not knowing the story, the storytelling just by itself was extraordinary enough to bring tears to my eyes. And that's my indicator of a coherent story, complimentary music and excellence in production. So much great talent on AGT lately it's almost unfair in a sense. But I can't stop watching!
The daughter of one of the men that is part of this, died because she was born to early and died as a baby. She was born premature. Which means she wasn’t fully developed. She died 2 hours after she was born.

That aerial footage shot over, above & around the drones was literally out of this world 👏👏👏
I think it was an incredible way to view the complexity of what they do. We see the act in only 2D usually. That additional view in 3D, gave me a whole other view of the entire complexity and perfection of their craft.
This was truly breath taking! It pulled on all my heart strings. Honoring his daughter like this was so magical to share! I can’t say enough of how truly magical this was.
Whew! That was beyond beautiful! My heart is with the father who lost his darling daughter.
My second son passed in my arms when he was a precious, little baby. My third son passed the same day as his birth. I felt this video in the fiber of my being...I found the good related to my sons' early passings...It took many years. Still, I am blessed with one beautiful adult son, and often wonder if the loss of his two brothers put three times the Love pressure on him! I had all this Love to give. Well, last year, he was critically wounded last year due to a monster's foolish use of a gun (to put it mildly.) Now, he continues recovering and we continue adjusting. Our lives are forever altered, but I am thankful that I was able to drop everything to move across country and become his support! I deeply appreciate this most tremendously beautiful drone tribute blessing the life of their precious child. I bless all who have had their child or children taken from them in any heartbreaking manner. Our world needs to open its heart...❤

I have watched it more than once and the tears still fall. What a touching tribute to a beautiful little soul that touched her families life so briefly. I have lost a child and I am so sorry that you have to go through this pain. God bless and keep you in his arms.
Loved your show on AGT and so sorry for your loss. When I saw the ending I was amazed because whenever my daughter got into /out of trouble (like financial, etc) I saw her like a phoenix . Since it was like she was reborn when she came through her trials! Thank you for thise memories.
Sometimes it's very hard to put into words how you're feeling but if you could say to someone, 'watch this and you might understand what I just can't say'. They did a fantastic job here and I sincerely hope they're voted into the finals

I wasn't expecting to put them as Number 1 this week but I just gave to say that peformance actually really moved me to tears and was just absolutely breathtaking, I know people who have lost close ones and with this year and day marking 9/11 the worst terrorist attack in USA history where people tragically lost their lives and family members This for me was the perfect tribute to Preston's daughter as she is watching down extremely proud of this routine and I'll be honest. This would have been my Golden Buzzer if they had it and I think it would be so great to see them in The Final as it's just mesmerising

This performance had me in tears. I really do hope they win the show.
This was so heartbreaking my chest was literally hurting. I watched it one more time and focused on the voice singing the song. I couldn’t believe what an angelic beautiful perfect voice was singing and didn’t know who it was so I looked it up. I remember this young lady Lily Meola and how breathtaking her voice was.
Her video of her mom dying of cancer brought more tears to my eyes. She had a beautiful fun loving mom with the sweetest smile.
Lily sings better than any other female vocalist out there today and she needs to share her God given angelic voice with the world. She needs to be free to be who she is just the way she is without the wolves in sheep’s clothing in the music business stealing soul and making her what THEY want her to be.
My message to her is keep the door closed when the wolves come knocking and don’t let their sweet talk and lies and promises let you fall for their predatory schemes. Honey you need you and only you and that beautiful voice of yours. You can do things your own way and ride only the train you want to get on and make sure you can get off that train when YOU say you want off. You deserve to share your beautiful talent to touch the world.
Don’t drag all those music business predators around with you. Keep people around you know you can trust and never compromise your values for anyone or anything.
If anyone had told me that drones could be made so impactful to story telling and conveying the emotions behind it, I would have never believed. I am a believer and nothing screams talent more than this. Definitely deserves to be in the finals!

Imp Sky Elements is the best act of season 19 ! Followed by Solange Kardinaly , Richard Goodall , Learnmore Jonasi , and AIRFOOTWORKS. I lost my first little sister when I was just 1 or 2 and I never got to know her. We’re all going through this pain every day. And when they said lost in 2020 it takes me back to a very hard time for so many. But the best part is they’ll always be with us and we’ll get through this. Thank you Sky Elements! Well Done!

Their previous performances were good. I liked them. And I know a lot of work goes into making drone shows. But I was wondering how long they could run on the coattails of being one of Simon’s golden buzzers….then they did this. This was absolutely incredible. This was art. That was just amazing. I hope they get to the finals.

Beautiful. We lost our precious girl just after 22 days after her birth. My daughter always says her name when she sees a butterfly. This tribute to his daughter is a tribute to any parent who has lost a child. Thank you. May your tribute bring many lovely memories of your daughter to you.
The crew member's daughter died only 2 hours after being born. The cause is because she was born too early and was born premature! Meaning she was born not fully developed.

I want to let the talent that put this together that I did not watch the pre interview to the performance. I was trying to rush to the taping so I could get online and vote before falling asleep. That being said I was so moved and in tears watching it. After I heard the judges critiques I went back to watch your pre-interview. I just want you to know that you did a fantastic job. What a great performance and story. What touched me even more than the drone show was to hear about people on here, both men and women, who, like myself, were moved to tears. It is so nice to know that there are people who still care about others and are willing to open their heart and share their feelings and tears for those that have lost so much.

The day I held my beautiful princess (9 years old) in the hospital as she took her last breath..there were white butterflies at her window..too many to count..like they were there just waiting for her..I felt her leave me .I cannot describe it with words..I was broken..who I was would be no longer .I was losing my daughter and my best friend .my life..and as I held her .I felt her body go weightless..I felt such a strong presence around us ..there was no noise..there was nothing.. everything stopped..honest to God .I felt someone there surrounding us in that room .I just knew .I had begged them to turn the noise of the machines off .I couldn't take it..and I just clung to her and begged her to let me fall asleep real quick and I promised I would go with her .one single tear rolled down her beautiful baby cheeks..and then I felt it all .and I swear my heart stopped beating..and I seen all of these beautiful white butterflies fluttering at the window..and I felt her go..and then they fluttered for a few more seconds and lifted off together..I will NEVER FORGET IT AS LONG AS I LIVE .butterflies had followed her around since the day she was born .and to this day I see them everywhere..at my window.. everywhere I go I have one close to me at some point in my day..white butterflies..I don't ever talk about losing my angel like this .I hold it all in..I try to be strong.. because if I let it go it will end me..but I felt I NEEDED to share this. my heart and love to anyone who is hurting and in pain from loss or anything in your life❤

My daughter, Millie Rose, would have turned 10 on Saturday, but died suddenly in 2019 at age 5. This week before her birthday is always so hard. The song “Butterfly” is on my grief playlist, but I never hear it anywhere else. And we see roses as a symbol for Millie. I felt Millie sending me a sign through this act. Beautiful.
