Looks like you're at the Burnaby Costco! There's a lot more Asian selections at the Richmond Costco!! The girls are so helpful & I love how they are so well behaved all the time. I enjoy your vlogs!!!
Leah is killin me…. “ I don’t like that” clear as a bell several times! The girls are so cute! Loving the Costco tours. I get so mad when I go to our local Costy in Roseburg, OR and can’t find some of the stuff you show!
I second the emotion but also those products you’re mentioning cuz you’re technically promoting not only CostCo - also all the brands you mentioned. All the brands you promote overall here in your channel should make you their brands’ ambassador!!! Sans blague @BenjiTravis
Dairy is heavily regulated in Canada. This is to protect the dairy industry and the Dairy producers of Canada. Hence why it’s hard to find some cheese and butter brands (ie. Kerry Gold). I think they’ve adjusted it recently for more to come in though.
The annoying thing about Costcos in Canada and the US is how they only accept MC in Canada and Visa in the US. So you'd need both types with you when crossing the border. I think any type of debit/bank card is okay to use in either countries.
Oh!!! You must’ve went to this costco during the weekday cuz weekends be crazy packed!!! I went there a couple of weeks ago and the line up went curved to the back of the store!!!
Benji I been watching since the condo days on Judy’s channel and I got to say I love you guys context is so comforting!! Keep the foodie videos going !! 🫰🏻
In Canada, all dairy has to be pasteurized but only cheese is allowed to be unpasteurized. There’s a bunch of raw cheeses in Canada, good few in Costco as well!
I’m from Montreal, Québec and i’ve been watching you and Judy for over 10 years since it was just you guys and Juliana, and now you guys are a family of 7 🥹 I’m so happy for you both and everything you’ve accomlished. I’ve never seen you so active on this channel and i’m loving it!
In Canada, products will have English then French especially in BC. Also Tim Hortons (aka Timmies) is a Canadian coffee store! Gotta try their steeped tea or coffee at least once!
This is my go to Costco! The still creek location and people are horrible at returning carts and also ditching their carts in the middle to line up for samples
I’m from the eastern Canada, Ontario to be exact. As far as I know all of our packaging is required to have both French and English. The costco located here in my smaller city is very boring, but when I visit my boyfriend in Vancouver it’s always fun to go on a Costco trip because they have more options, and lots of asian snacks which I love
Welcome to my Costco Benji! I've never been when there hasn't been a duo pack of Kewpie Mayo. 😀 The major difference between the Canadian and USA stores is that we don't carry booze of any kind - at least in BC. I love those cheese buns you bought! I don't buy them unless they're made the same day I'm there and I have the freezer space to store them. My biggest disappointment is that we don't have the same amount of Mexican offerings as you do. I agree with you about the food court. They should have brought the seating back, and, added more tables as it's always been a bit of a nightmare getting a table/seat.
Hi Benji, love your vlogs! Love your french too ;) I'm from Montréal,Québec and yes every labels have to be bilingual. I love poutine and Costco's poutine is one of my favorite. Interesting fact you should know is every Costco can vary their products, depending on their customers. In your vlog, I saw some products that "my" Costco doesn't have. But one thing we have is pinic tables to eat at the food court hahahaha
Benji, you need to come to the East Coast, Quebec! Maple season is kinda now…Cabane à sucre! Experience the french side of Canada! 😄. Most of us can speak at least 3 languages! I think you’ll enjoy the food scene here!
I miss the chicken bakes…..we used to have them in Canada 🙁. My favourite thing to get at the food court is the poutine 😋. That’s odd about the tables….my Costco here in BC has regular tables and chairs 😊 🇨🇦
Coming from a Canadian…our Costco is so boring! Lol English and French are both our national language so it’s mandatory to have both languages on labels here. Esp imports they use stickers to cover certain parts of info to have it in English/French.
The birds nest soup is where the nest is actually made from the swallows saliva that is solidified. It’s a delicacy dish in Asia and supposedly good for your health.
I want to add, as a french canadian from Québec, the name Québec comes from an Algonquin word meaning 'narrow passage', so it's not french but I can understand why it could sound french for other people :).
I concur with other comments that Costco poutine is decent for the price but not the best. I have to say their fries are very good and that’s what makes the poutine good at Costco. I grew up with the iconic Vita brand drink in Toronto (the VLT box you picked up). It’s a Hong Kong based company that’s been around for many decades. My parents used to buy the chrysanthemum tea drink boxes from the Chinese supermarket when I was a kid. I’ve had bird’s nest soup at a Chinese restaurant once long time ago. It’s an expensive delicacy that is said to be super nutritious and considered a health food in the Chinese culture. However, there’s some controversy surrounding it (you can Google info on that). We have a large population of Asians in certain areas around Toronto, so you may find some Asian products at some of the Costcos here too. The Costco near our house has frozen soup dumplings (it’s mediocre, not as good as the restaurants when made fresh). Their pot stickers are pretty good though (good for pan frying). I believe I’ve seen the fake Kewpie mayo here and have been guilty of buying it once thinking it was the real deal. Lol! Of all the Costcos I’ve been to in Toronto, I’ve always seen seated tables, never seen the tabletop-only setup here. Yes, worst time to go is Friday evenings and weekends. The lineups are crazy and yes, you would expect to see lineups at the sample stands too during peak times. Plus, difficult to get seats in the food area. In Toronto, we’re pretty good about returning our shopping carts to the stand.
I was waiting for this vlog. You found it, Costco poutine. Another great adventure to Vancouver. I hope Costco Canada didn’t disappoint 🇨🇦❤️. French and English on packaging is required in Canada. You’re welcome. Vous etes les bienvenus🤪🤣🤣🤣
Our pet peeve is when people leave their shopping trolleys in the car park when there are so many trolley parks that it would take them 30 seconds to put them away safely, I mean, sometimes you can’t pull into a parking spot because some inconsiderate lazy person has left their shopping trolley there 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
YES, go to France, not only for the cheese, but all those bakeries! Out of this world! At the same a stopover in Belgium, the Fries and sauces, unbelievable, taste Godiva chocolate. And since Holland, my birth country, check the cheese. Edam, Gouda and others. You can rent a car and visit all these neighboring countries, even drop by Germany, further to Switzerland. That's what the family did, rent a van and toured these countries. I was based in Germany at the time.
The best poutine is in Quebec, Canada, Andddd the squeakier the cheese the better 😂🥰 It is a must to have squeaky cheese. Canada is bilingual, we like to be fancy 😂
From Canada here! I think our Costcos are a bit underwhelming, but I am biased haha I believe legally, both French and English have to be on the packaging of things since its both our official language(s).
Definitely not the best poutine in Canada, but for the price and amount you get it’s worth it. And in Toronto and other Costco locations I’ve been to in Ontario, there are seats and tables 😊 Tim’s is a staple, but McD’s coffee is better.
As a Canadian from Québec (where Poutine is from), costco's poutine is good but definitely not the best. I would say the best poutine are in the lowkey mom and pop diners!
Love B.C Canada 🇨🇦 I love ketchup chips not the lays brand. It's like tomato salt n vinegar. I wpuld eat them all the time if we had them in the states! Poutine is legit comfort food!
Tim Hortons is just nostalgic at this point, once they got bought out, their quality went downhill. Donuts aren't made in store anymore and coffee is just gross, you're not missing much so feel free to skip out on it 😅
Birds nest is basically the spit that’s from a swollow bird. Yeah the idea of it is gross, but in Chinese culture it’s a delicacy, it naturally has no flavor and relies a lot on the other ingredients for flavor. Also expensive because it’s hard to collect as one would imagine 😂 but maybe they have new ways of harvesting this now.
All dressed is a mix of ketchup, bbq, sour cream and onion and salt and vinegar! You hit the nail on the head... that poutine isn't the best, it's big and cheap lol.
Yes! I get so mad when I go to NYC area costcos and don’t grind the cheesy bagels they always get 😭😭😭😭 so not fair
i had to replay leah's part a few times. she's extra cute in this video. LOL girl knows what she wants.
Costco should sponsor you
Facts
Big facts😂, I’d watch because I love these videos
Fr but Costco doesn't really sponsor people in general sadly
Unfortunately, don't think Costco sponsors RUclipsrs now.
I second the emotion but also those products you’re mentioning cuz you’re technically promoting not only CostCo - also all the brands you mentioned. All the brands you promote overall here in your channel should make you their brands’ ambassador!!! Sans blague @BenjiTravis

Bingo!
"Hence why..." 🤣
The annoying thing about Costcos in Canada and the US is how they only accept MC in Canada and Visa in the US. So you'd need both types with you when crossing the border. I think any type of debit/bank card is okay to use in either countries.
I have used my Canadian Costco Mastercard in the Vegas Costco lots of times with no issue
Not me almost spitting out my food when benji called bird nest banana tea 😂 it’s the saliva of a bird… not their actual nest😅
Omg this is my Costco!! Sad I didn’t see y’all there lol
OMG the costco biscoff cake is sooo goood!
Is this Burnaby, still creek location? Omg
We don't have Raw milk at the stores🫥 is illegal to sell it in Canada.
Benji you’re sooo much more patient than I could ever be and I commend you for that! Lol God bless you & your amazing family ❤
Never had poutine… looks good!
All dressed is just all the flavors mixed together. And I'm Canadian and they're awesome.😅
The Costco poutine is the best imo! So cheap and straightforward ❤
Grew up on VLT… best thing ever !! I think they’re imported from Hong Kong. 🇭🇰
can i use my costco membership to any other costco around the world?
All dressed is a mix of the 4 big flavors: bbq, salt n vinegar, sour cream n onion, ketchup
Y'all had a great time eating and shopping at Costco. 😊
Love these Costco videos! My mom and I usually go to Costco on weekdays cause she knows I hate going during the weekends.
Benji, you haven’t had real poutine until you’ve come to Québec. You should come check it out in your travels one of these days.
I second this!!!
Come here Montreal, where the best Poutine is 😁
You must come to Quebec that’s where the poutine originated from.
@@leilanibaba3591 Yes, Benji why not make a trip to Quebec? The girls would love to visit.
I would buy Leah boo anything she asks for
In Canada, products will have English then French especially in BC. Also Tim Hortons (aka Timmies) is a Canadian coffee store! Gotta try their steeped tea or coffee at least once!
I loveee these Costco videos 💕
hope you got a chance to visit T&T!! specialty asian grocery store and first non-canadian location coming to Bellevue!
hi benjie! you guys are here in Vancouvee again. hope to bump into you guys.
*@CartNarcs needs to visit this costco to show them where to put the charts!*
This is my go to Costco! The still creek location and people are horrible at returning carts and also ditching their carts in the middle to line up for samples

Wow lots of different stuff! Tim Horton's is so good too! It's like their dunkin donuts!
i just had my costco fix today hahaha, hi from calgary, ab!
Making me crave the poutine! Funny you mention squeaky as the label highlights “squeaky” - I think they call the cheese “squeaks” lol
How leah pronounces the ‘Fah-Fry’ 🥹🥹
I’m glad you like ketchup chips lol and haha at the end, I’m guilty of leaving my cart there too 😅
I don't know what it is but you fascinate me.
Hi Benji, love your vlogs! Love your french too ;) I'm from Montréal,Québec and yes every labels have to be bilingual. I love poutine and Costco's poutine is one of my favorite. As a Wisconsinite if your cheese curds squeak that means they are fresh
Ketchup is a flavour that you might put on potatoes??
It’s because Canada has two official languages (English and French) so it’s on all packaging here
The Costco you went to is where the Canada West head office is.
We still have the tables in Alberta.
Ok but who would've guessed Benji would visit Costco more than Judy 😂😂😂 Not me
Hi, good to see you guys visiting Canada. I’m in east Canada. First Nation. ❤
you have to come see us in Québec to taste the best Poutine 🤩
The consistency seems off from what I’ve seen here in Quebec I thought it was all the same sauce mix
I miss the chicken bakes…..we used to have them in Canada 🙁. My favourite thing to get at the food court is the poutine 😋. That’s odd about the tables….my Costco here in BC has regular tables and chairs 😊 🇨🇦
Mine here in NB just switched to the stand ups like these…don’t like it.
Great video!😊

Do a vlog at the Costco in Paris
I was waiting for this vlog. You found it, Costco poutine. Another great adventure to Vancouver. I hope Costco Canada didn’t disappoint 🇨🇦❤️. French and English on packaging is required in Canada. You’re welcome. Vous etes les bienvenus🤪🤣🤣🤣
Canadian food standards are a lot stricter than the US, a lot of preservatives are banned here
Our pet peeve is when people leave their shopping trolleys in the car park when there are so many trolley parks that it would take them 30 seconds to put them away safely, I mean, sometimes you can’t pull into a parking spot because some inconsiderate lazy person has left their shopping trolley there 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I love how whenever you guys are at Costco, Leah takes the chance to ask for soda!🤣😆
Costco poutine is the best cuz the fries still stay crispy, also gotta have it with ketchup
You said Canada but youre soooooo far come to Grand Bend with the fam next time I'll get one of my clients properties for you
In Europe we do call it raw milk cheese. Soooo good! I am from Germany. The parmigiano you saw there is legit!
the jujubes are really good! Essentially they are dates before they are "dried." Tastes like apples but better :D
YES, go to France, not only for the cheese, but all those bakeries! Out of this world! At the same a stopover in Belgium, the Fries and sauces, unbelievable, taste Godiva chocolate. Ontario has a lot of french speaking people too.
What happened to Keira? She and Miya look the same now at 2:00 .
Poutine is very high calorie, be careful girls.
Thanks for making this video
In Quebec it’s their law that it’s French first then English.
Ketchup chips are good with Philadelphia cheese
Parmeggiano must be made in the specific region in Italy. I'm surprised you guys know so little in the states about other countries.
All Dressed is my favorite. Delicious
Bird’s nest is supposed to be good for you. Now I have never tried it, but I have heard from other Asians it has great health benefits.
OMG This may sound gross but have poutine with ketchup. It is awesome! Also, Tty the goat cheese. It is fantastic! 😋
Yup 😢 groceries are expensive in Canada!
Nice video👍🏾
Costco has the best poutine!! 😊
Costco line ups are crazy
that matcha from Costco is not good at all, I'd say its only good if you're using it for baking hahaha
Love B.C Canada 🇨🇦 I love ketchup chips not the lays brand. It's like tomato salt n vinegar. I wpuld eat them all the time if we had them in the states! Poutine is legit comfort food!

PLEASE TEACH US HOW TO MAKE POUTINE ❤❤❤😊
We're serious about maple syrup because we're all about the Maple leaf and the flag Oh and we have maple trees of course😅
Poutine in Montreal is the BEST!! Costco got nothing on poutine!
costco should def sponsor you benji!!!
It’s not the best poutine in Canada 😅 some Costco’s needs to portion their gravy and cheese curds better 😅
That was a $120 usd.
i'm jealous.
They use to have chicken wings
Benji, could u turn up the volume on your mic?
The high tables with no seats bothered me more than it should have. 😐
Canada has 2 official languages, French and English, therefore everything is labeled in both.
All dressed is a mix of ketchup, bbq, sour cream and onion and salt and vinegar! You hit the nail on the head... that poutine isn't the best, it's big and cheap lol.
