My mom called my three younger sisters "girlies" when they were little (they are a lot younger than me and close in age) so every time you said it I had a little pang of missing my mom, she's been gone over 20 years now! Funny how little turns of phrase can bring back such sweet long forgotten memories.
I was hoping Nathan would pop up in the back seat of the car. Loved Philip’s English translation. It had a mid-west American accent. So funny.
We forget when living in France just how exotic and lovely this is for those abroad to see ! My daughter just bought a lovely house ten metres from the water in Britanny. She almost hesitated so I said 'are you mad, go for it' ! Can't wait to go visit.

How wonderful I always feel like I’ve been on a day trip out with you all when I watch the vlogs where you visit new places! It’s been over two years since we went on holiday and we aren’t going to get away this year either, depending on my health and virus situations we might get a day out somewhere. I could almost taste and smell the seaside it’s was lovely. Thank you for sharing your holiday with us, it’s one thing to share your “ work day” but your precious family time too we are very spoiled x

We have been renovating a 20 yr old home for the last 2 years - which served us well during the Plague lockdowns. I cannot imagine doing that to a 200+ yr old chateau while caring for two small children!?!? Who does that? You two are amazing!

Philip this was an amazing episode. I’ve been to so many of these places but it didn’t matter cause you brought it fresh with your lovely family, camera/drone work and music choices. Ahhh the memories. I lived on a sailboat for nine years in the Florida Keys and loved it. Bad weather or good it was so much fun! Happy that you could have that experience.
My next door neighbors daughter is doing just that now. Bought herself a sailboat and is around Ft.Pierce. Living the life.....

May she have many years of fun, sun and sailing because it is a life and every night when you are out there you only imagine how many wish they could be there. I remember the nights at anchor when the moon twinkled on the water and how beautiful it was!

Brought back loads of memories for me as we had a holiday home in Normandy and our holidays were spent there and we would take the children to M’ont St Michel and do loads of road trips around France. You have a beautiful family and your girls are adorable!

My sisters and I had a week long French adventure in Jan/Feb 2020, just before the pandemic started and Mont St Michel was one of our places to see and we stayed in a lovely hotel overlooking MSM, plus at that time of year we were almost the only people there….fantastic xx

I so enjoyed going on holiday with you all. What a wonderful adventure. I love the sea, and have only ever been on a very small 2 person sail boat, and only on a very large lake in Quebec - Eastern Canada. And how beautiful Bretagne/Brittany is, and so much to see and do. Good to know - visit just out of tourist season. I had a friend quite a long while ago, she came from Bretagne, France. She married one of our friends and they have lived in Quebec ever since. Their children must now be all grown up. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. I too love the sea, and sailboats, des Chateaux, et le Francais, merci pour des lessons avec Nathan. One day… one day I shall make it there… Au Revoir 🙋♀️ 💕
My mom always said...there's no better place than on the water. Our summer house was on the Chesapeake Bay here in the states, in Maryland. I have the best memories of my childhood there. Thanks for taking us along, it was indeed wonderful.

Trinite Sur Mer is a lovely seaside town, we always visit a beach just a couple of miles further up the coast and stop for a beer at Trinite on our way back to our house near Merdrignac.

Your girls are just adorable. I am going to show my daughter (6) later of Lily swimming with her arm bands, ring and flippers. We live by the sea here (West of Ireland) but she has good swimming days and bad (mainlly due to seaweed!!!!) but I think Lily will inspire her. Enjoy your holiday.
