How you both can remain so playful and upbeat through all the snags and sheer slog is beyond my imagination. I get stressed trying to find the right wattage lightbulb. Ziggy is the (second) most adorable doggy ever.

So glad the range is in place. i have been thinking about that install since it first arrived on site. I am glad you filmed the positioning and all the minor hiccups. The result is amazing. Congratulations to you both. Phillipe has an mischievious wink and Anne looked stunning in the glamour shot at the end. she has just saved the range producers Millions of Euro in advertising. I hope the calf did not hear Phillips commentary on how good he would look on a dinner plate. hopefully the calf does not understand English.
Hopefully Benoit feels better soon. Now its too hot to cook but that first meal will be a joy.

It is stunning!! Amazing how one thing, albeit a massive thing, brings it all together!! I’ve always dreamed of having a cooker like that-and your kitchen will be my virtual dream come true. I’ve been by their store in Paris so many times and drooled over their cookers, been through the brochures and picked out the color I would order. And you have done it. Congratulations. Cannot wait to see you prepare a meal OR make croissants in your fancy new ovens. Maybe Phillip could do the croissants!!
I dreamed of a range cooker for years. Had to buy one last year when the cooker here died a dangerous death and I needed to replace it. Disaster. The glass doors fill with water when I use the ovens. Can’t get through to the manufacture to complain. Three grand down the drain. Be careful what you wish for.
At least this one hasn’t caught fire yet!

I wasn’t sure about the black work top by the stove….but it and the tile makes the stove pop. And I love the cream cabinets. So happy for you both the kitchen looks STUNNING. Well done.

What I truly love is how well Philip and Anna work together as a team. It is obvious that the two of you love each other very much, and it is also obvious that you communicate well despite some of the teasing and ribbing that goes in in Some of the videos, much of it is for our benefits but it just goes to prove that a Sense humor is very important commodity in a relationship but definitely when you’re remodeling your home😊💕

Regarding Benoit’s numbness in the leg I hate to point to the elefant in the room at range cooker celebration day - but as a "Klugscheisser" and medical student I have to also point to the possibility of the no longer rare Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). Googling GBS+numbness+limbs may point him and his doctor further in the right direction. However I wish him all the best - as I love the man with his perfect personification of master craftsmanship, kindness & humor.

I love the brass knobs for the stove. They match the cabinet pulls perfectly. You should be proud of all the work you have done to get the this point. All of the stop and go with the camera when it is easier to not film when your busy. All of the hours of editing for the RUclips family and a patreon video for us that is always worth every penny y’all get. I can’t wait to see the next big project. The plans for the out building is amazing and will open up your business availability. So proud of you 👍.

Kitchen looks so good! I’d love to see it at night all lit up when it’s all done and every last item is in place, including stocked pantry and pretty dishes in the glass front doors! You need a shiny copper tea kettle for the stove top for decoration! 😍 and something spectacular to go over the chimney I guess is the right word. Like maybe a collection of large blue & white platters hung or some big thing in iron or wood, or…a large weathered copper weathervane…too many possibilities.

Oh my gosh I was laughing through the whole thing. My husband and I have been married for 18 years and have been renovating houses for 17 of those. We’ve worked side by side….. but my role has been silent grunt 😂, no joking, no suggestions…. At least until the ‘range’ is installed. Then we can joke with each other. You have a delightful sense of humor and the byplay between you is hilarious: dry and subtle (sometimes). I also LOVE listening to you switch over to French. That range itself is a work of art! The installation is a little bit illegal in France. The cut-off valve for the gas has to be accessible at all times without deplacing the cooker. I had the same issue years ago in a 15th centuary appartement and had to change the conduits. Could cause big, big problems with insurancies.

The gas tank is in a cupboard next to the stove and Phillip mentioned to another commentor that there's a shut-off both in the cupboard and on the stove.
