I am from Limon, but when the 32 didn't exist, we got to go to San Jose through Turrialba, a canton that always call my attention. Muy linda caminata!!
Have to make Mike watch this! He’s Swiss so he would totally enjoy learning about La Suiza. I love Costa Rican coffee too. Great hike and good for you to be able to take the heat and humidity!
I love Costa Rica! Specially that region of Turrialba City and it's many villages scattered on the surrounding beautiful mountains , we visit every year. That's our "head quarters " spot , so serene ,a little house on the Ssn Juan Sur section, from there we travel north south, east and west, Pacific coast or Caribbean coast. Make sure everyone visit Turrialba and move anywhere from there. Pura Vida hnos Ticos !

Awesome… so, did you coordinate with tour guide for the stage “that happen” to be near your accommodations or are you rejoining with same tour company? What month? Highest elevation?
I live in Costa Rica and contacted TRAILS, which organises hikes for locals. Not sure what the elevation was. I hope to do all 16 stages at some point, but for the time being, I'm mostly doing hikes around my town of Jacó. Thanks for watching
