The takeaway sets up the rest of the sequence! Important to nail it. Ask questions… we’ll answer! ❤

At the back of my swing I quickly loop my club head clockwise using both my hands and wrists. This creates the centrifugal force required to send my club head through my ball bringing me to the glorious finish of my swing. This is my absolute one swing thought. Cheers

According to Mike Adams, if you use a stronger grip the natural takeaway motion is precisely to allow the right arm to move the club head inside and role the face open slightly. Not all grips have the same right arm mechanics. Thoughts?

Agreed, however the supination act that you’re explaining in the trail should be managed… getting it excessively open means you’ve got to excessively shut it 🙏

Which of the drills would you recommend for someone that has the clubhead in a decent spot at p2 relative to hands but has the trail hip flying open early like you mentioned
    Thanks!

Point of confusion for me: Surely starting with the hands in one drill works at the expense of the drill that trains the ribcage shift and upper spiral to initiate and power the backswing. What am I missing?

Can we get a video on what causes/fixes hooks and left misses?

When I grip it strong and have the toe parallel to spine angle my divots are extremely awkward. It's almost like there is too much shaft lean. The leading edge digs and the divots are not square. Can you guys do a video of the down swing sequence from the top please? Feels like a hockey swing. I have done split hand drills. Feels stable but something feels very off with the strike. I can even see marks on the face way too high. Something is off.

You’re getting steep on the downswing. Trail shoulder is working towards the ball in transition instead of down and under the lead shoulder. Feel like you keep the trail side back (chest away from the target) as long as you can in transition. It will fit regardless, just doesn’t be to fire and open first. 99% chance that’s the culprit.

If the club is outside your hands on the backswing , how does it get behind your hands at p6 . Is it all by hands or body motion

Both! Mostly in the rib complex in our preference however
