I'm sure it's a significant adjustment that a player has to make when they have a caddie, but I did feel that Rick didn't make it and constantly over-rode Will's advice. Will didn't fight him on it, which I suspect is the sign of a good caddie anyway. The other thing that I noticed Rick doing that maybe Will could have pulled him up on was thinking holes ahead instead of focussing on the ball at his feet and the shot needed to play that. Certainly all Will's advice was about that shot, not some mythical shot on the next hole.

Great video, one of my favorites in this series. Loved Will Davidson. I can see the value on the reinforcement, the keeping focus, etc., even when it's nothing more than an "I agree." Maybe I'm just speaking too much for myself, but even when I am "pretty sure" I know the line--even on short putts, or how to play a shot into the green, etc., there's some small amount of doubt that keeps me from fully committing too many times. I need a Will Davidson in my life.

Loved this! Great the way you kept the round together, I would have fallen apart after the par 3 double but the round improved, great work from the caddy.

This was awesome Rick. I'm a big Lexi fan so to see you play 18 with her caddie was really cool. Will seems like a super nice guy and can't wait to listen to the podcast. Thanks! And nice round by the way!

Very nice, Rick! You kept your head in the game and didn’t talk yourself into a bad round. Instead, you got over your bad shots quickly and shot a great round because of it. 🤘🏻

I've always loved the break 75 episodes but this one with Will is one of my favourites. Was a great insight into how he caddies

I just came back from a bucket list trip to Scotland and Ireland. Had caddies every round. They are all professionals. Don’t worry about disappointing them. They have seen way worse and way better players than you. Go enjoy the moment. Make it fun for yourself and them. Don’t worry about your score.
Will here is exactly the type of caddie I had. Great attitude and support for the golfer. I can see why Lexie would have him on her bag.
