Hey Dr. Salcedo, it was nice to see one of your videos pop up in my feed. I enjoyed this one, and like how you focus so much on diet and its role in our health!
Hey doc! Thanks again for another informative and useful video. I just wanted to put my two cents out there. When I started to see signs of endo, my periods were bad, I had lots of inflammation, I had pains down my leg ( I was limping) and my back. I just felt really bad about these weird symptoms popping up and you always think the worst. Fortunately, I found your videos which gave me so much knowledge. I started making the connection of high insulin (though I’m only 10-15 lbs from where I would like to be) and these aggravating symptoms. To make a long story short I started to stretch my fasting to 24 hours (dry fasting) often and here and there longer fasts of up to 66 hrs. Plus, I’ve incorporated stretching especially the hip area as often as I can and taking care of my gut. In a short time I was able to get rid of the pain in my body and my cycle has been much better. Thanks for all you do. God bless.
@@azitaaa1994 I would say absolutely yes and helps for many, many other things as well. If you've never dry fasted before I would work up to it as your body becomes more accustomed to it. Blessings
Hi. Thanks for your message. Menopause is a different ball game. We use different thresholds and your gynecologist needs to be included in the conversation.
I have a thickened endometrium and my doctor had recommended for me to do a DC and get an IUD ? Will that help for my endometrium not to become thick any more?

Is dry fasting helpful for endo?

Iodine too, all of the trace minerals are important.
Is it same thing with endometrium thicknesses during menopause?
