As one of the recipients of these awesome sauce slippers, 10/10 can confirm that they are AWESOME, and will fit even the largest of bog troll sized feet!! Great tutorial!!! Those slippers are SO YOU!!
By far the best tutorial I've ever seen. Your description of the pattern pieces couldn't have been more exact, thank you for not using some technical jargon that only makes sense to a few ppl....you da bomb
Those are awesome! I think it's amazing that you can do those kinds of sewing projects with really hard curves, I could not even sew the fitted masks that you had a curve, it drove me so crazy I said fuck it and just made pleated ones haha
It can be tricky and I have to go slow, and I used to get puckers all the time. I think just HAVING to do curved stuff a lot at the costume shop made it second nature to deal with
Notching is generally just cutting little chunks out of the seam allowance after you've done the sewing (but making sure to not cut THROUGH your stitching lines. Leaving a little bit there). It's just so that when you flip the seam right side out, it can lay a lot smoother.
Oh no! I wish I knew more about anything tech related. I often have a horrible time downloading things, but this one was easy for me to do with instructions from the blogpost!
