great to have you back and to see your progress, I've missed your updates... looking great and well done on your progress it's really coming along. take good care and hope you're proud of your work.
Thank you mark, it’s great to be back and reading such kind comments again like yours! We love the small community of commenters and viewers and it always brings a smile to our face that people enjoy our silly videos 😂 definitely proud of how far we’ve come this year as we only finished digging out the internal floors in January! Thanks again 😊
Thank you guys! We’ve been lurking in the background keeping up with everyone’s builds, you guys have smashed the garden office to be fair, and I can’t believe your trip to Nicky and Harri’s ended up being snowed off work! 🙈 I (Rhys) almost got stuck in Merthyr during a site visit for work😂. Well you’re always welcome over for a brew! Just bring some motivation with you as we are seriously lacking in that department right now 😅
Hi Both very much missed but back with a lovely update . Interesting about the problems with the transformer and vacuum , as a retired electrical contractor it’s often RCBO circuit breaker that trip when using these large transformers , due to inrush current . Typical of high companies that they supply way over the top sized transformers for the tools provided . Used to be a regular problem when working in such as schools in the holidays , contractors would come in with such items and go round plugging them in tripping the circuit , and then go looking for another socket . And so add infinitum . 😂. Kind regards as always 👍
Thank you! After speaking with the hire company on the following Monday he said as I was using an extension lead off of a single radial socket (temporary socket as we have no electrics) he thinks I was overloading the cable as it was only a 2.5mm radial, then extended off with a rcd extension lead into a 5kw transformer trying to run the vacuum and the grinder 😅😅 not an electrician but that does sound like I may have overloaded something 😂😂😂
@@Selfbuild_TheJenkins The render looks good by the way! Looking forward to your next instalment. It feels like a slog when you’re working and taking on so much on the side, you’re nailing it though!

Thank you! 😁
Awesome 😎 , who did the render?
The front and side was DXM rendering
@@Selfbuild_TheJenkins thanks 👍
Silicone render isn't breathable. who did the rendering ?
Should of used fassacouche
That’s not what Google or the renderer said 🤷🏻♂️ dxm rendering
