Alexis legitimately rips and has for almost 2 decades. I assume she had a lot to do with designing it, too, since I know she has a design background (architecture, but still). If anyone deserves a pro model, it's her. Will definitely be copping a pair, these look great.

I like these, they got retro 80's vibe going. Like thw whiye and green colorway as well. I agree its nixe to see a different aspect of sneakers, qouls be cool to see you guys pump out more videos like these.

There are still a lot of people who say core brands only but honestly the quality of most sakte brand's shoes is not comparable so more and more skaters rely on the bigger brands. These look solid , I really like the rubber pads. I also immediately thought of the CT-IVs.

ive had one pair of converse that kinda looked like an adidas superstar with the shape, forgot what they were called but I definately liked them and rocked em a couple times before I sold them...these definitely remind me of those
Retro Cons design elements, built in Ollie pads with the rubber nubs (though they should have been larger IMO), can be worn for skate or style, they should sell well :) Wish they had a bit more cushioning though
Appreciate the hoops heritage in this model. Super curious about the midsole/cupsole feel in this!
They feel like Jordan 1s with a better insole.
This model is doing something for me, I’ll have to keep an eye out for this.

Good for Converse going after the skate market and getting in on Nike's SB lines. That eyelet by the star/tongue looks a lot like Nike. There's a few obvious Nike influences, but it's got it own style. Didn't Converse already release a basketball shoe like this? There was definitely a Converse shoe that looks very similar that got released somewhat recently. It's a cool shoe. It should sell well

I can see these selling out, simple silhouette at a great price. It has the dunk low look. For those who that want an alternative shoe thats not as an everyday beater, these are it.

This is sorta unrelated, but it's kinda weird there's not more Vans half cab inspired skate shoes.
I think many skaters have said they're their absolute favorites, taking them by surprise. The mudguard goes up pretty high, exposing a smaller toe box window, there's a few touches like that I never really notice elsewhere, even though I hear people love the control, durability, comfort AND look.
I am partial to the Half Cab too and just to tie things back to Converse, I found the Fastbreak Mid skated like a lighter version of the Half Cab.
@@adammordo That's the one thing I've heard some people don't like as much about Half Cabs, those Converse might be a solid choice then.
Honestly, though, idk how people go full sessions without actual protective gear. I had a skateboard hit slightly above my ankle once and I had trouble just walking, I hear right under the ankle is 10x worse with low tops, which is where half cabs put what feels like a very solid piece of foam with padding.
