      Miguel Meza then why the hell would the NBA consider Westbrook for MVP and his team didn't even make the playoffs?????

    • @MightyDuck926
      @MightyDuck926 9 лет назад

      Venne V. Reread my comment. It CLEARLY states "Win Loss Record". Where did you see playoffs involved? The thunder had a winning record.

    • @Ven10000
      @Ven10000 9 лет назад +2

      Miguel Meza the Heat had a winning record in 08-09 but Westbrook campaign for MVP was much larger than Wade's

    • @MightyDuck926
      @MightyDuck926 9 лет назад

      Venne V. Simply comparing campaigns doesnt prove your point. We were in a season where nobody really dominated the nba like the past years. Another thing is that russel westbrook was seen as a 2nd option for the thunder & mamaged to give them a large chance at simply making the playoffs after coming back from injury & leading the nba in PPG & better APG than lebron, harden, & stephen curry. Not to mention he is in the western conference which is honestly a harder conference simply because more than half of the teams have a winning record. While a team can have a losing record in the eastern conference & still make the playoffs.

    • @juicyfruitjay
      @juicyfruitjay 10 лет назад

      Lebron put up the most ridiculous numbers that's why. They basically avg the same points but lebron had almost nine assists pg and more rebounds than wade and they were similar in steals and blocks and fg% and lebrons team won a lot more games…it was kind of a no brainer even though it was by far wades best season

    • @EthnHayabusa
      @EthnHayabusa 10 лет назад +10

      Jay Mack
      Wade had more assists, points, blocks, steals per game. Lebron did not average anywhere near 9 assists per game. Another detail that should have gotten more attention, is the Heat won 15 games the year before (Wade was injured). Wade took them to the playoffs almost singlehandedly.
      Lebron:28.44 PPG (2nd in NBA), 7.57 RPG, 7.25 APG (10th in NBA), 1.69 SPG (7th in NBA),
      1.15 BPG, 48.9 FG%, 789 FGM (3rd in NBA), 78.0 FT%, 594 FTM (1st in NBA),132 3PTM
      Wade:30.20 PPG (1st in NBA), 7.46 APG (9th in NBA), 5.04 RPG, 2.19 SPG (2nd in NBA),
      1.34 BPG, 49.1 FG%, 854 FGM (1st in NBA), 76.5 FT%, 590 FTM (2nd in NBA), 88 3PTM

    • @juicyfruitjay
      @juicyfruitjay 10 лет назад +1

      I thought it was the 09-10 season.Cuz if it was that was Lebron's best statistical season in his career I think..but if not yes, you're right about the stats. But Lebron was the best player in the league by then for at least 2 years (yes including Kobe) and has been since (yes including Durant). He's not even my favorite player. It's just a fact, he's so complete.

    4:42 so smooth and explosive... Wade in his prime was as graceful and dominant on both sides of the ball as any of the goats. Top 3 SG no question. If you try to argue Harden because of his stats then your opinion becomes invalid... Don't @ Me

    • @Mikejones17369
      @Mikejones17369 3 года назад

      1000%. This era was also different than the league now. Wade was putting up 25 a night without a three point shot, and when bigs roamed the paint. Back then you’d only get 85-90 possessions a game, where now teams be averaging 100-110 possessions a game. 30ppg in 08-09 compares to 40ppg nowadays

    LeBron could have gone to teams that have other all stars but he chose to play with wade because he knows that next to him he could go straight for the gold, no disrespect to other great players but I don't really think he would have won the rings with just any other all star as you put it; wade is just a special player, and despite his injuries and whatnot he's been a killer year after year, as for clearly ineffective during last year's playoffs? If that would have been the case there wouldn't be another ring for this team,sure he wasn't a hundred percent, but his 80 percent worked just fine man, I think you're really off when you doubt his endurance and toughness, that's precisely what makes him the player he is,the fact that he has those plus one of the highest basketball IQs. And that comparison between him and pippen? Just doesn't make sense to me that you'd attempt it given how different the bulls from that time were put next to the heat nowdays, and the totally different roles those two players have. Wade not along for the ride,man! Watch for the upcoming playoffs so you'll see what I mean, no wade,no rings! If you think or a majority of people think LeBron is a better player then great, but I'll just have to disagree

    the Heat is a young franchise, only 25 years of existence. I haven't been to a game and I consider myself a die hard Heat fan because I'm in front of my TV every single time the Heat play (even against the Bobcats). The majority of people in Miami prefer to stay at home and watch the game from their couch. Just watch how many people celebrate after the two last titles.

      Dwade all The way You can't even spell and I'm the idiot? Lol. Get the fuck out of here troll. The ppg was icing on the historically great statistical cake that went with it. I'm talking about full stat lines here, and player efficiency. The numbers don't lie. Wade was great too though.

    • @petergriffin1689
      @petergriffin1689 9 лет назад

      Dwade all The way How are you going to write Lebron's and Wade's stats wrong...? Lebron actually had 28.4ppg 7.6rpg 7.2apg 1.7stpg 1.1 bpg and Wade had 30.2ppg 5rpg 7.5apg 2.2stpg 1.3bpg. Both of those stat lines are amazing. Wade's Player Efficiency Rating that year was 30.36 which is the 14th highest of all time, but Lebron's Player Efficiency Rating was 31.67 which is the 4th highest of all time...and as we know Lebron's team won 66 games that year compared to Wade's team which won 43 games...I don't know how young you are but MVPs usually go to superstars who have amazing team success, so saying Lebron didn't deserve it that year over Wade is absolutely not true. Both players were equally deserving of the MVP that year over any other player in the league but at the end of the day team success matters a lot too, and that is just how MVP awards work...

    • @tblixky5512
      @tblixky5512 9 лет назад

      Look again b, his assist were 5.2. And no lebron also had shaq on his team that year. And 43 games to win is enough with those numbers, look at kevin durant in 2014 his pog was 30.6 almost the same as wades. And his team didnt win that much, so thats how i judge mvp.

      Dwade all The way LMAO!!! You are speaking so much out of your ass. Are you ready to see how stupid you are? First of all Shaq was not playing on Cleveland in the 2008-2009 season, second of all you need to look again "b", Lebron averaged 7.2 assists...why don't you go look it up for yourself on NBA.com...lastly Kevin Durant's team won 59 games during his MVP year....you realize everything you are writing are just pigments of your imagination...you are too blinded by your love for Wade(who actually is my favorite player of all time along with Lebron and Iverson) that you are making up things and writing them.
