Not gonna lie i got whiplash at 14:14 when i saw how many hours he has played starfield, until i saw when he bought the game and when he refunded it. Man Sseth is just hilarious.
I ended up buying Skyrim one last time, because I bought the GoG version after Bethesda broke the Steam version again with their last update. GoG even has as a selling point on the product description that theirs supports both version rollback and fully disabling automatic updates. Insert "You have no power here, Todd "It Just Works" Howard."
The eye science thing was 30 fps I believe. Data is ongoing but it's kind of misleading because your eyes are not receiving light in HZ, your constantly getting info and your brain is really adapt at filling in or extrapolating missing information. So yeah, you might not be able to receive info at exactly 100 fps but your brain picks up on the difference really quick when you're looking at something that's only 30. Or so they say but it matches up with other things like that giant blind spot in the middle of your eye you can't see. Supposedly at least. Not a doctor and all.
The blind spot thing is true but the fps thing is utter bullshit. The true part of that is that around 24 fps and higher the brain starts to fall under the illusion of seeing a video instead of individual images.
I agree that he's awesome, but you've gotta admit that there's a huge difference between your average youtube videos vs a Sseth video. The whiplash is real.
Modded unoptimized skyrim se with 1k mods and an enb has more fps than this garbage game... Oh yeah its Bethesda what did we expect from the people that made paid mods and fallout 76. My 2060 mobile gets the same fps as a 4090 in a new game lmao. Its crazy that we need dlss and frame gen in every new game because devs have stopped caring / gotten super lazy.
The modding community has done much for the reputation of Bethesda games being good - But I'd argue that's not all there is to it. People wouldn't be interested in modding Bethesda games, if there wasn't at least "something" in the game in the first place. Skyrim and Fallout 4, while they might be fairly mediocre games by the standards of "elite" experienced gamers, do have a solid foundation of worldbuilding and quest design (however lackluster) that appeals to more casual gamers, as well as tickles some itch for more dedicated Bethesda fans like myself (however inexplicable that seems, even to me) - and that's not even getting into the nostalgia-baiting smuggled into the games, which appeals to those of us that remember Oblivion, Fallout 3, Morrowind... So, my point being, that modding can go a long way to explain why people love(d) Bethesda games, it's not all there is to it. Bethesda games always had some hard-to-define quality to them, some inexplicable "magic" that just got people hooked enough to even care about the mods at all. Whatever that "quality" is, it seems to be severely lacking from Starfield.
I've done a lot of editing with different frame rates, so it's easy to spot, but I'm glad that you can't tell the difference. What I wouldn't give to not be bothered by fps differences. XD
@@TheLegitWeebs I can tell if it’s stuttering or if it jumps and drops but I’m not bothered by a frame rate above 30 otherwise. It’s probably why I was so annoyed by people saying a game was trash because it couldn’t go higher than 60 or because it’s lower than 60. Though I still think most of them are obnoxious.
Everything Sseth says, believe maaaaybe a quarter at best. The man is utterly unhinged, and hilarious
He can be trusted.
I've gotten all my religious advice from Sseth and I'm doing better than ever-oh, looks like my turn on the prison computer is up...
14:57 Did Sseth see the future
Sseth truly is an experience
Don't know if I can ever get used to it
@@TheLegitWeebs well, just don't take stuff personally, dark humor is still humor
Thingolian Chindonesians still makes me chortle. This man has a way with words.
A modern day poet

The man has an amazing sense of humor and style
At least i dont have to buy skyrim again
Just wait until Skyrim 2 comes out. uh, I mean Elder Scrolls 6.

The review is 100% facts
While not a bad video by any measure, it unfortunately came out right after Sseth's funniest video YET!
stop spamming this garbage, he literally reacted to that video already.
you really need to get used to sseth saying outrageous things😂 the man is a gem

In five years, perhaps this game will have enough quality of life and content mods to be worth playing. Until then, I'll stick to better games.
Agreed. If they ever add alien anime waifu's to the game I'll consider it.
I like this game ^^ but yeah its a bethesda game. First game i preordered and i had fun ^_^
Ah btw nice video! ^_^
Glad you had fun!
I usually can’t tell between 30 and 60 unless someone points it out.
