You mentioned worries about certain weapons being useless. Fortunately, I have yet to encounter any useless weapons. There are many that are hard to use and can get you killed, but no useless ones. In fact, because of how valuable inventory space and good equipment is relative to the units, part of the fun is determining the least and weakest equipment you can bring with you on the mission and still have a reasonable chance of completing the objective. It's not uncommon for me to send a guy in with a knife, a small pistol, and almost completely unarmored with the understanding that if he gets past the first floor, his equipment will be just as good as the enemy's.
It's cool to see that the game makes every decision count. Forcing you to make good compromises rather than defaulting to the best decision keeps things fun.
I'm one hundred percent for Capitalism. However I reject Anarco-Capitalism. There needs to be a government to prosecute Fraud, Injury, Theft, Monopoly, and to build the public infrastructure to access the Free Market.
That's why i playing gothic 3 with consequences mod..where each action you take in the game has a consequence. Just like in real life. Most of the time is frustrating cuz im not used to it. Im used to limit test in games cuz i know there are no consequences. But i still like it.
