its actually so soft, you dont get "chips" you get "strings" sometimes gets clogged in the bar cover. the other thing is the blade LOVES to bind up,when ur in the cut on palm trees once u cut into them the "fibers" that make up the tree swell with water like when a human gets cut and blood rushes. the third thing is when you are cutting into the "skins/bark" its very squishy not always able to full torque and pressure all the way across the bar..also his bar was prolly burred and chain dull...

yes as long as its shut off, he was not worried about the peice falling off or anything what is not safe is the ladder hes standing on... ladders are no bueno very dangerous. this guy has got balls, initiative, but he lacks experience and overall knowledge.
