I realized just now that there were some bot kills in the "Full Game" segment, the names have [AI] at the end. I guess bots are added to fill lobbies.
All the other clips in the intro and end segments have zero bot kills 😎
lol which is funny since so many Dice apologists claim that the games player count has been better than previous battlefields since they "fixed" 2042.. 2042 marked a change in how i view the series. I already stopped preordering them but I'll never day one buy any future BF unless friends i trust or some content creators i trust are very positive about it.. it was the jankiest, most buggy, and overall broken game (with countless missing features from previous BF's).. i stopped playing almost immediately day 1 and tried 3 separate times in the weeks that followed to get back in but the thing that ruined it the most (aside from the minimal content) was the broken shooting and specialists (obviously).. I fired into groups of 3-5 players all bunched together and emptied an entire mag and got 1 hit marker.. it was the most frusttrating awful experience i ever had with a video game..

i will literally never forget how this game played out, the hype, the beta, the release....and then the let down... you make this game look so different than what it was lol, GG's. BF5 next?
YUP it was very disappointing at launch. I remember on launch night, I was just messaging you to see if you could get into any games lol. Might need to hop on some BFV soon :D

Probably would have liked this game a lot more if my mouse input didn't feel so weird in this game. Still, hope you had fun with it!
To me the gunplay felt weird and less responsive compared to other battlefields (on controller)

I started playing 2042 and have been enjoying it a ton
IMO it’s turned into a very good game. Whatever state it launched in it feels very good now and I’ve enjoyed it a ton.

Can't stop playing this game on pc and PS5. If it released it this state, it would have been gold.
Bullet deviation is actually a design choice. They added that back like a year ago, to prevent players from getting lasered down from range by ARs or LMGs
Adding it in 2042 did barely anything, you still get melted by ARs and LMGs from over 100 meters away. It needs to be integrated into the core technical design of the gunplay mechanics, adding it on top doesn't really do much. DICE need to make it so tap/burst firing is more affective for range like BF3 and 4.
@@Nitroh- You realize "Adding it on top" is integrating it into the core foundation. You can't "Layer" it on top, that's not how programming works lol. You integrate it into existing code or it doesn't exist.

A game i did not expect Handler to ever play lmao
After all the updates this game has gotten, very few games manage to capture the mayhem of large player fights.
Also, it's really fun tk play with friends that can support you, and if you're out of ammo, don't forget to use the quick swap system to change for another ammo type or magazine type, as they ckm with their own ammo pool.
this game absolutely pales in comparison to even bad company 1 in terms of 'mayhem of large player fights'.
That precisely is such a broken feature. If you equip more than 1 ammo type in the plus menu, ammo should drain across the board, running out of ammo in your standard mag then swapping to high power or close combat ammo and having immediate FULL ammo count, is blatantly OP and basically removes the need for anyone in your squad to play support and drop you ammo. Plus menu should only be used for changing optics and maybe equipping/removing a suppressor. Hope the next BF removes that feature.

This game in its present state is so much fun. More so than other FPS titles IMO 128 player conquest is where im at most of the time. Yeah, first impression are so important. Hope the next one gets that right at launch. Good clips! Your a solid player!

Back when everything was simpler. I don't know if FPS games will ever feel as arcade-like again but the pace in these older games were amazing without having "movement" mechanics.

It’s still fun down to raw gameplay and gunplay. The tornadoes are goofy af with cars, jets, and helicopters

I really hope the next Battlefield is the best they have to offer cause I am not sure how much longer they can survive with games coming out with bad releases. BF1 has been their best release from recent games so if they can get the next game anywhere close to that then they should be fine. I know people hate BRs and I don't think Battlefield needs one, I do think it could reach more players if its good. If COD can release a succesful BR then I don't see how BF can't.

is it worth to play in 2024? last time i played was like 2 years ago
on XB, 1 year of BF3, 8 of BF4, and 2 of BFV, (great years when gaming was pure. I was beyond stoked in 2021 for 2042 and ready to move away from COD/WARZONE. Warzone and COD was still hitting though because I built a covid PC & switched to mnk for it, but I bought a series X and an Elite Series 2 controller, instead of a new GPU and was ready to get my boots on the ground. I forced myself to play for 30 days, maxed a couple guns, and got good, but the game was trash, and went back to cod & mnk, eventually selling the series X to a buddy. (Remember the maps at launch, like open lots with no cover! haha. I hope they hit it out the park next year, seems like there may be a free to play BR coming with it, and it better be free after they stole $100 from me and made me a COD exclusive player, lord have mercy. Great video regardless, seems like they rebuilt the entire game! Never Pre Order anything ever again, unless it's Half-Life 3! Then get your wallet out. haha

Hi Handler, to be honest i dont think you would like BF3 nor BF4, since the bloom is very similar to BF2042 at launch, and also the playerbase is absolutely nuts, some might even be like you. Great video Handler :D

I seriously love BF2042 Maybe not your Typical BF like BF1 - or 3 or 4 but solid game after all the updates
I grinded 2042 since launch despite it being a dumpster fire. Some of the updates have improved things, others have made it worse. At this point I've barely played since the last update and find the general experience to be boring and kind of easy...
Game play looks smoother than MW3 lol I wonder if black ops 6 with beat this?

Been playing cod since MW2 2009, but have picked up most BF's. Just the fact that the game has no SBMM makes it an enjoyable experience, 2042 had it's well known issues but once they "fixed" them I've been playing it on and off and it's a chill game where you can frag out without needing to sweat your balls off (I mean you can, but you're not forced to at least) lol.
Tbh this game is getting better.
Man, this is a sad one. Vehicles used to be designed for roles and counterplay, not outright slaughtering every infantry and vehicle class.
I remember the Hovercraft at launch made the game like unplayable haha

Always prefer Battlefield to CoD. I played BF1 a ton through its cycle and BFV after the game became stable. But the recent continuous fumbles from DICE just burnt me out so hard. 2042 was fun for me during season 6 but after the support cut confirmation I just couldn't be bothered to care.

I had no idea that live service had ended for 2042 thats insane. So the model is now release a "live service" game thats halfway done, then spend the first half of its life finishing it for the tiny audience that stayed after the terrible first impression. Gaming is cooked

Yeah a rough launch. Too different from classic BF plus technical woes were too much for most. That launch bloom made ARs useless so everyone ran the SMG that didn't have it. Shame they also stalled out the fun factor of Portal by being fussy about XP. Ugh it could have been so great had it launched in this state!

Unfortunately, DICE is literally allergic to making games that work well at launch. I think Battlefield 1 was decent at launch, but every other Battlefield and Battlefront game was a mess on day 1
