Everything that she had hoped for was gone, and in a way, Anakin really died at the Jedi temple. Another one is the youngling scene- these children see Master Skywalker, a ray of hope that they’ll make it out of this nightmare. The Chosen one, the hero of the clone wars, known to survive dangers with inescapable odds (just look at umbara) was there to help them. Ever since I was a little kid watching Revenge of the Sith in theatres this track has always given me proper goosebumps. Really hits all of those darker tones the movie really lets off. My favorite star wars movie.
What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. 3:41 I'm picturing clones breaking into rooms and offices, gunning Jedi down before they can even grab their lightsabers off their hilts. Some open doors partially and let grenades roll in; others are equipped with flamethrowers and just light up the rooms. The few Jedi able to make it to their ships are shot by either the ARC-170's in the sky or the AT-AT's waiting on the ground. And as the dead continue to pile up... "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design."
The clones, the Jedi, they are all victims of the Dark Lord; Darth Sidious. The clones were not at fault for what they have done, some of them even committed suicide after they realize what they had done to their friends.

He slid it into place, annoyed at the interruption, and wondered if it was A'den checking in, or Etain dropping out hyperspace. It was a voice message. And it was neither A'den nor Etain. "Execute Order Sixty-six." It was the Chancellor, the source verified by security encryption. Ordo had perfect recall. Memorizing all 150 contingency orders for the worst scenarios had taken him no time at all, but every ARC, Republic commando, and clone commander had learned and repeated those orders until they knew every syllable and comma... ... Even so Ordo froze. It was the order to execute his Jedi commanders. "Yes, sir." He said." -Republic Commando: Order 66 by Karen Travis

The moment when Cal is running down the hallway to the escape pods and is being shot at by the clones who just a minute ago were his buddies is really sad
fr he even gave a high five to one of them before 66 happened really short was really sad
Each time I hear that one Clone say "You got this, kid" [high five], I'm thinking "No. Their gonna heel turn so hard in a minute." What did poor Cal think about that.😥
I think Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars episode with the most beautiful music.
2:52 till the end, such a nice dark mood represented there. Great work John Williams. As always
2:55
"Master Skywalker, there's too many of them! What shall we do now?!"
😢💔
By the prophets... what have these brutes done?
They have shed our brothers' blood... and for that, they must DIE.
A Halo Reference? In a Star Wars OST?
Damn... yeah, the culling of the Elites is much like Order 66, too.
👏👏👏👏👏👏💥💥

Kota: Killing him won't bring her back
Vader: This is your destiny.
Kota: Think of the Rebellion. We need him alive
If I let him live, he'll haunt me forever
@@thedude3065 He is the only one who knows if Starkiller really survived. He can't tell you if he's dead.
3:17 you can just here Anakin igniting his light saber in front of the younglings D:
Ever since I was a little kid watching Revenge of the Sith in theatres this track has always given me proper goosebumps. Really hits all of those darker tones the movie really lets off. My favorite star wars movie.
"You were weak when I found you, now your hatred has become your strength."
2:28 “You’re still their brother, Crosshair. You’re my brother too.”
"Something terrible is happening. The clones have betrayed us."
“And one by one each of the jedi knights were purged across the galaxy, as the Emperor Palpatine’s evil plan roared across the galaxy…”
* Disney preparing to launch new SW movies and kill the franchise *
Disney’s CEO:
-Execute order 66.
“Jedi Purge” starts to play.
Disney when they acquire any property at all tbh
@@juginstin At least Marvel fans have Infinity war, and Endgame to fondly look back on lol.
What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word.
I heard this song in my head watching the election last night.
Same with the rise of the empire track.
The clones, the Jedi, they are all victims of the Dark Lord; Darth Sidious.
The clones were not at fault for what they have done, some of them even committed suicide after they realize what they had done to their friends.
John Williams is a genius that nobody will follow for a long time.
the build up from 0:52 to 1:04 is the breaking moment
I'll never forget crying experiencing this for the first time as a kid.
Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 7...
The time has come once again...
"As a young Jedi, I went to war. I sought violence and the Emperor called to me across the galaxy. He made me a Sith Lord and named me Darth Revan. I killed for him...I turned on The Republic! But then I found redemption."
"Ordo was about to brush his teeth when he heard the comm warning in his helmet blipping. He slid it into place, annoyed at the interruption, and wondered if it was A'den checking in, or Etain dropping out hyperspace. It was a voice message.
And it was neither A'den nor Etain.
"Execute Order Sixty-six."
It was the Chancellor, the source verified by security encryption.
"Yes, sir." He said."
-Republic Commando: Order 66 by Karen Travis
Wondered how it went down over there.
Thank you so much for this. All of my favourite sections of Episode III's OST were missing from their respective tracks on the released soundtrack, and the part that plays during Yoda's embarking and the Jedi temple massacre was my absolute favourite segment of the entire OST. I was always sad to have it missing from the official release considering how sombre and powerful I've always found it to be.
"I'm sorry sir, it's time for you to leave".
