David Axelrod talks about his time inside the White House

The Poynter Institute welcomes David Axelrod as the third speaker in Poynter’s 40th Anniversary Speaker Series. Past speakers this fall included Ana Navarro and Andy Borowitz.
David Axelrod is a political theorist and the author of “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics” (2015). Axelrod served as senior advisor to President Barack Obama and to the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition, as well as senior strategist to Barack Obama’s historic campaign for the presidency in 2008 and his re-election in 2012.

That segment about the affordable care act tells you everything you need to know about Obama. The steely resolve. The empathy he has for people. That's what made him the best President in US history. Ok. Now I'll wait for the Obama haters to say something untrue and irrelevant.

very interesting, five or six years later, the "AXE" makes some interesting comments that are still relevant today and things needs to change ... especially, at fifty minute mark, PLEASE, Please, please listen and reflect ....
