"When I think I don't need to be careful, I discover why I need to be careful." _Excellent_ game design. No sarcasm here--that's honest praise. If a game is simultaneously hard enough that you can't go easy on it and fair enough that it feels easy...well, that's a good thing (by many tastes), and tricky to pull off.
Later ships are unstable from age, they start falling apart (radiation leaks, door jams, interface failures) as you search. Radiation leaks can be REALLY dangerous and send you running for the home ship right quick.
+Paugus cool. I'm slowly gaining more interest for this game. Might get soon. If people are quick to look at it it might be easy to dismiss. It got some good sound effects too. headphones I think if I play it.
+Newage Gamer2163 Yes, in some cases radiation will suddenly flood a room, disabling a drone in there. If you don't cordon off the area, then the radiation can also spill into adjacent rooms through doorways. But if you take too long, then it will eventually build up, and can then jump through walls, irradiating any drone in there as well. Can get quite dangerous. Though I don't know about explosive decompressions, not sure if they occur randomly.
+Newage Gamer2163 as you play the game, it gets harder. There can be meteors hitting the ship, radiation floods, failed doors, many MANY more aliens, strange alien goo, and more. On top of that, drones themselves will get worse with time. You may have seen the "repair video feed" upgrade on the drones. There is always a chance that a drone will just stop sending video and it can be scary when you are controlling it. Also, tools that are imperative to gameplay can completely fail. Everything deteriorates as you play. EVERYTHING.
dfett is there anything you can do if an alien gets on board your ship or is it gameover? Be cool if there was a special animation for this like a spurt of blood over screen or something.
MOAR DUSKERS you CAN kill swarmers with the turret, EE! but it requires the drone to hit 22 bullets at it. often the swarm reaches the turret drone with a few survivors, which dents the drone. NO EE THE DEFENCE-
+GamingHamster13 Problem is that the generator drone generally stays in the same room for most of the time and can thus only scan the rooms adjacent to that one room, which I think is why he didn't put it on that drone.
EE The first room (and all room how are oppened next to it) are safe at start. (it is in the strategie tips) but if you wate maybe a vent can became source of trouble
I haven't watched the video yet. If you activate any of another drones abilities that has a turret the turret will not work and the turret has a 2 drone length range its all on the wiki
After what happened to him, I think that would be a bad idea: imagine it, with the gatling gun, entering the Drone Operator's Room and murdering EE for what he did! Beside jokes, you're right! Tanky, dangerous and deadly... Von should do the dirty job!
Hmmmm.... An objective is to find survivers.
Step one. Enter ship
Step two. Kill everything on the motion sensors.
Step three. Profit :)

I cringed so much when turret was left online and you started rolling into the room...
... because that's exactly what I did 3rd mission.
Oh, the hilarity of getting shot by automated defenses you turned on yourself! Classic space comedy!
I think it happens to all of us. We all assume that because you activate it that it wouldn't attack you. Fool me once, and that's it lol.
there's an interface right there. RIGHT THERE LOOK CLOSE EE. so sad
+SONY _USR Classic EE tunnel vision.
Scream at my monitor "DEACTIVATE"
I thought this game was going to be boring..untill you flushed that space critter into space,i was sold thereafter.
i shouted when you were going into the room with defences on. LOL.
You can kill swarms now, but it uses 20 rounds.
+AndrewTJ31
Some of the swarms get to your sides and back so you have to backup then reactivate the turret to get all of them.
I was just thinking "turn off the defences, turn off the defences, turn off the defences, don't do it.... yup"
Just wondering, how come didn't tow the dormant drone back?
+Rhys Noble Because when he "status" looked at Latius it said "destroyed". Only option was swap; see 12:13
+OldMrFrodo Latias is named after the pokemon Latias.
@@danieldo8859 no shit
A few ships from now had me scream out loud. I wonder how Elysium will take it : D
Ah so the damn defences were killing my drones....
MOAR MOAR!
Remember EE nothing in Duskers is 100 percent reliable, and it gets less so the further you go on.
+hop hop Certain things wont show up on sensors by the way!
I highly recommend this game even at full price. play it in the night, max difficulty, headphones on and lights off ;) It'll be an experience trust me
+Quester91
That's mean. I have a hard enough time with the lights on.
can the ships became unstable as your searching them? would be cool to have to evacuate asap while negotiating alien freaks.

Ha Ha Ha, Von is the 'red shirt' drone...
"Sorry for acidentaly murdered you." ... Lol.
+Enzocish fanta
He says that in a lot of games... he should just make it his official catchphrase!
great lets play as always. keep going!
More! More! hahaha i love the series keep it up!
Fantastic as always.
MOAR DUSKERS

NO EE THE DEFENCE-
I was practically yelled at my screen right there. Gosh darn it EE. :)
+Noah Aist 10/10 grammar Noah.
The first room at a1 and all connecting rooms with open doors are always safe initially.
could have used that shipscan to reveal more scrap once you had secured the room.
Gather, stealth, turret...much better combination than stealth and mines....put the mines on the Tow Interface drone
You should put the motion sensor on the drone with the generator as it rarely moves
+GamingHamster13 Problem is that the generator drone generally stays in the same room for most of the time and can thus only scan the rooms adjacent to that one room, which I think is why he didn't put it on that drone.
+darkkillex7220 good point
The issue with that would be the drone would be stuck at the generator instead of being able to advance to scan.
yay, camping ftw!
the first room is always safe
EE The first room (and all room how are oppened next to it) are safe at start. (it is in the strategie tips) but if you wate maybe a vent can became source of trouble
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i love the same adds for youtube twise in a row for the sam vid
usually i get age 300 ships in my first area, and without the motion scanner too, as you can spawn without it
AllMighty Loaf Depends on both your difficulty settings and how many times you’ve played. Resets don’t reset everything.
Wouldn't it make more sense to put the turret on the drone with most HP?
The same happened to me when I opened d5 and didn't deactivate the turret
I haven't watched the video yet. If you activate any of another drones abilities that has a turret the turret will not work and the turret has a 2 drone length range its all on the wiki
the room that is conected to the first airlock is safe.
More!
YOU LEFT A DRONE!!!!!
jacob"bull" broome Destroyed drones can’t be towed
if you only have one gatherer you don't need to type the drone's number.
Von should be your weapons guy(drone).
After what happened to him, I think that would be a bad idea: imagine it, with the gatling gun, entering the Drone Operator's Room and murdering EE for what he did!
Beside jokes, you're right! Tanky, dangerous and deadly... Von should do the dirty job!
Star Wars Von's Revenge
Moar Duskers!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DUSKERS
This game is sorta like a horror game
RIP Latias :(
More vids!!!
Dont u find it interesting that the only drone with a gun is named carbine
You left a drone on the ship. It was just disabled not destroyed.
Hey there, backseat gamer. You can't tow the drones that are a greyish-tan color.
Nope, it was destroyed> the console literally said you cannot tow destroyed drones, only disabled drones
All your mistakes I made too
,
Moar.
Just to be annoying (FIRST)
