@@lusolad better, in my opinion, but he def doesn’t have the power and punch he used to. I still love his early style, but the yarl was just a bit too much for me. No Code and up had my favourite vocal style. Different strokes for different folks, though.

Obviously something was up because he was just not his usual performer I guess I mean he sounds great hes never sounded bad to be. Love Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam
Same! He just looked kinda defeated 😞 he sounds amazing, always, but watching all of the different performances at this show, it’s very obvious he had so much on his mind and couldn’t be the wild child he normally was. Its really sad to see him so UN-Eddie. I’m so glad he’s happy now 🥰
So this is the greatness of live performances! Whatever mood the singer is in, their feelings show through. Eddie would have never of gave us this unique vocal of Jeremy if it wasn't for the divorce? Divorce is terrible btw I'm just commenting on what already took place at this festival.
People do not understand how much difficult this song is to sing. Singing that in full voice power and with that amount of growling scream (who only Eddie has and could use properly in that song) in a middle of a full concert is almost impossible. Even at the 1992 MTV Unplugged (which in my opinion is one of the best perfomances), where they played few songs, he was struggling all the time trying to find ways to put the right notes. But back then he was young, powerful and in a good shape to give enough power to take the risk. Now he always almost sings using technique instead of voice power or maybe he would have destroyed his voice years ago. Anyway, here was a little bit down overall...
Actually, Matt is the one who fucks up the ending with the early drum fill @ 4:30. Ed just goes for the ride after that. Either way, not the most inspired performance on this particular song. Light Years off this concert is great, however.
Always thought they accepted Matt Cameron to quick into the band, without an actual long audition. Matt helped them out through the tour (I think it was No Code), and they just asked him to stay permanently after that, without considering the fact that actually Dave Abruzzesse had quite a major distinction with all the other drummers and was actually a integral to the sound of the band. I respect Cameron a lot, with Soundgarden, all the albums he made with PJ, but he wasn't a right replacement.
Ale Girón estoy con tigo, esta mejor que diga daddy xD la caga cuando dice father, uno bien culo cantando y se confunde en esa parte por la costumbre de "daddy"
@ApostastyUK It's sad because in the 90's the crowd at PinkPop went absolutly wild. Just look up the Pearl Jam - Black live 92 video, thats at the same festival.
I actually liked more this performance, by the fact of the equalization and vocals, also drums however I understand that many people really felt the 92 performance.
This the worst performance I've seen of this song, because Matt Cameron sounds like he's playing a different song!! Drummers are so crucial to a bands sound!! Unfortunately for PJ, they haven't had a drummer they've clicked with on all cylinders since Dave Abbruzese!
He sounds _fine_ earlier on in the song, but the heavy part, you know, when Eddie does his "hoo hoo hoo hoo" thing it's especially wrong. Just sounds totally off.

Pearl Jam is a great example that music itself is the most brilliant drug.
One of the only people who sound just as good live 😍
I like the indifference of Ed while singin this song. Exactly how I feel now.

My Generation. Love it.
I listen to Dave A when he was in the band alot. Matt and Dave play so different.
