1. To solve the *bridge softlock problem* , I found a solution which consists of watching 3 memories in a row to make Link enter a state called phase cull which avoids the softlock issue, check it out in this video I just uploaded,

guys if you’re having trouble w/ his step on the bridge. just hold the left stick up and double press minus button twice as fast as u can then watch a memory repeat this process until u pass the redline or until the autosave. this is the fastest and sure way to pass the bridge.
2. As @imajindraggn16 has said, it´s not necessary to alternatively increasing and decreasing the number of items every time you pause, you can decrease-increase in one pause cycle to always spawn 4 items
3. As for the apple dropping part, I believe that part is heavily rng dependent, I would say after watching a memory, unpause, and wait a bit, like 0.5 seconds, (as long as you do it before Link becomes invisible), and pause again to hold the apple, it´s more likely that you success if you do late than if you do it too early, even if you get the apple blown away animation. What I mean is that, it´s better to get the scenario where you see the apple is blown away by the wind because that means you are close to doing it, than if you get other scenarios where Link appears holding the apple, it means you held it too early and you are not even close to success.
There is another way suggested by which is very esasy and very consistent, I strongly recommend tring this:

Something that i found is that the timing to hold the apple varies. WHat i do is after watching the memory, press + immediately, without exiting the menu- then press plus twice as fast as i can, and drop the apple. The amount of time you are unculled changes, and this timing works for one of amounts, so it can take a few tries but it will definitely work.
4. What can i do when my duplicated items spawn on the river?
that means the invisible apple has fallen into the river, I would suggest dropping it on a corner near the gate to make sure it does not moves
5. I completed the whole glitch successfully and duped the items I wanted. When I tried to leave the glitch I could no longer use the throw button. I tried fast travelling away and saving the game but I still could not throw any items. Any ideas as to why.
Just restart the game or hold 2 items and put them away.
6. If you get a side effect when i glide my body stay in the air, just restart the game and it will be fixed!

A tip to do the horse part easily. i have been trying for 1 hour now...
@@InFiNiTy12006 it seemed to help when I would hit "B" to close the menu after skipping the memory as soon as possible, like when the memory selection screen is still loading the text description I quickly hit B then used that same thumb to go over to the pause button.
It takes a very precisely timed pause for it to work, as you are surely experiencing.
Another thing I tried that helped me was to switch to the last memory on my list instead of one of the first ones. It seemed to have an effect on the load times too

I invented a sixth scenario where you drop the apple, it stays in place on the ground, and your horse just looks at it forever.
I managed to get it working, it took an hour of trying and maybe a few tears, but it's working now
7 scenario Your horse just goes into the water and drowns
I think it is caused by your horse having max affection because as far as I know, your horse can’t eat anything if it has max affection
i invented an 7th scenario, you do everything correctly but when you have to go to that gate, you get permanently culled

This is insane and super efficient once you get it working. One trick that seems to help me time the apple drop is to press + right after skipping the memory, then tapping in and out of the inventory menu 3-4 times which advances approximately 2 frames each time. On the 3rd pause, take out the apple and that worked for me. Great work!

It absolutely works, but it's really finnicky. Even if you get the horse to eat the apple, I've gotten culled and stuck on the bridge which means you gotta restart. I've gotten it to work once out of 4 times I got the horse to eat the darned apple @@FabledSothe

For those who have a problem with the apple dropping timing, here's what worked best for me:
Before entering the - menu to watch a memory, press L and select rewind. Go watch the memory and exit the - tab. Now you will see link in rewind mode. You have to stop rewind, wait like 0.5 second and open + menu and hold the apple. It is easier to do it this way because you can focus on link's arm movement. you need to press + at the moment his arm becomes parallel to his body, this is the last frame before getting culled again. If you do it too early, it will be in the air and you should unhold (press + then unhold) and redo. I saw it in Suishi's video.
Also I had problem with the apple getting blown away by the wind. This is how I solved it:
Before doing the glitch, make sure that the weather is good. I prefer to wait until morning and check sunny weather. position yourself in the position you know you will get culled in after infiltrate and give the apple to the horse. It should stay on the ground and the horse should eat it. Don't do the glitch without checking the good positioning and weather. Then when you proceed to the glitch it should be ok (you can reposition yourself a few times if you're far away from the good spot). Also the horses seem to act differently according to their temperament. My first calm horse does't move much and you need to put the apple really close. But my second horse with a wild temperament (the one you get from lester's missing horse quest at lookout's landing) is much easier to feed because even if she roams, it's in circles and she come back to the apple and eats it so I recommend using her.
One tip I've found; if your hand is getting sore from holding 'r' and don't want to redo the ZL jump trick, press '-' to open the map where you can safely press 'r' to swap slate tabs without swapping inventory tabs, and so long as you're holding 'r' when you swap to the inventory or back into the world, you'll still be in the throw state.
Also it seems like the timing for when to hold the apple is different for different game versions, or even different in handheld vs docked modes: When I'm playing on my TotK OLED switch, handheld mode, on game version 1.1.1, I have the best luck swapping almost instantly directly over to the inventory to drop the apple properly.

How do you even figure something like this out?! I guess just finding the glitch, repeating it, and seeing if you can make anything happen once your glitched?
TIP FOR FASTER DUPING:
Instead of pressing plus, then removing one of the 4 items you’re duping, then adding one back to your held items, simply press the + then press x and then A right after so it can drop 4 items all the time instead of 3. It’s a minor difference but it’s still effective. You’ll get faster at it

At first I was about to say that this duplication glitch isn't as easy as the 1.0.0 version.
But then when I saw that you can just keep reloading items and throw them and it will keep doing it however many times you want, I was started to get on board
The holy Grail will be a 'cull state' that lasts through save/reloads, so you just have to do the long process pnce, and then you can duplicate any time you want.

For timing I found if you mess up (get scenario 1 - 4), pause and un hold the apple then view a memory, unpause and right when links arms get to his side pause

My peanut sized brain tried to duplicate golden apples, and then my horse crossed the bridge and started eating them lol
XD happened to me too, in those cases you can hold down R to pick the items as soon as they are spawned
First my horse wandered away and I had to start over, then it took forever for the apple to drop correctly, and then after I got the glitch working the "spawner apple" rolled into the moat lol. But this guide is great, got plenty of materials for my niece and nephew now! Thank you!
lol that spawner apple is weightless and any breeze would blow it away that´s why I suggest putting it near the gate

If anyone has a problem AFTER completing the glitch where everything appears slightly laggy and you are unable to pull out a weapon or interact with anyone, head back to the cave where the like like is and it should unfreeze it as you pass through the small crouch hole 👍
EASY FIXES FOR PEOPLE HAVING ISSUES:
if you cannot cross the bridge, you must restart the entire process. make sure to not press b when closing the memory tab. press Minus instead.
IF you are having trouble with the apple drop, i just pressed the plus button super fast and on the 3rd time the inventory opened, drop the apple.

Super helpful tip if you accidentally parked your horse wrong try uncalling and then whistle it might not work but worth a shot
There's 2 other scenarios with feeding the horse the apple thtat I've experienced trying to do this. One is if you hold the apple too late but it still falls, it'll somehow just start floating along the ground. The other can happen if your hold is either too late or too early, but if either one happens, there's a chance the horse will just walk up to Link as if he's still there to try and eat the apple from his hand.
So it works if he eats it from his hand?

I think we have more dupes for materials in this game than there are weapon dupes in BotW, and we _never_ found a good material dupe in BotW...

There are actually two more scenarios as follows and how to fix:
Scenario 6. Your horse simply stares at the apple and doesn't eat it, this is because of the location of your horse and where you ascended so if this happens you should move your horse, usually slightly further away from where you ascend.
Scenario 7. You drop the apple correctly and the horse eats it but when you walk over the bridge you get permanently culled, from my research this is cause by opening your inventory(pressing +) as you are walking over. Simply don't press + until you get to the zone where you get unculled. (note: with further testing my scenario 7 fix is completely untrue and does absolutely nothing, i am testing to figure out why this happens and how to get it to not happen. Will keep y'all posted.)
New current hypothesis: you get permanently culled when walking on the right side of the bridge, further testing required but evidence strongly points to this.

Hii, for the scenario 7 there is a solution , after the horse ate the apple, watch a memory to make the drop items prompt appear, then watch 3 memory in a row without exiting the menu, then press minus button to exit the menu, there is a chance that Link enters in a state where he switches from culled to unculled and then switch back constantly and rapidly, in this state he can move anywhere without getting softlocked! I will post a video about but this will solve the issue on the bridge.

Great tutorial. I've come to this problem twice already. After I get the horse to eat the apple. I uncull myself and start moving towards the bridge but then can't uncull anymore and can't get past this point.

I got to the part where I fed the horse the apple and watched a memory to walk towards the bridge and after one movement I went to watch a memory to move more and I never became visible.. I’m still stuck and invisible, how do I get out? Do I have to load from before full state and redo everything?
hii unfortunately I think if you get perma culled at the bridge you will have to restart the process... Once it's working, it might be quick. But let me tell you; this is anything but easy and quick to set up!
During Step 3 in the middle of the bridge after watching a memory i can't uncull anymore (Worked a few times obviously), i can't move anymore and even tho i get a "drop apple circle", dropping isn't possible. Camera movement, abillity wheel and pause menu are accessible. Basically stuck so close to payout, after countless attempts to get that apple finally eaten...

Try watching his video on the mineru dupe, it's a bit more limited but it's less complex and takes very little time
its because you are pressing B to exit the menu. took me so many tries before i realized
I thought the apple eating part was the trickiest one, but it seems crossing the bridge is more difficult... It depends a bit on luck I think, also try taking just one or two steps everytime you watch a memory, to give the game some time to respond, I am not sure if it would work though
@@yanggaming3642 Very much dependent on luck i guess. Tried it that day and succeeded but today i'm 1 hour in, managed to get the apple eaten 3 times already and everytime i got stuck on the bridge. I don't see why or how it happens. The mineru dupe seems much more reliable although it's definitely not as potent.

can you just equip the ascend before being swallowed by the like like so that you dont have to use another control stick to ascend out?
yes you can
I did the glitch in less than an hour and here are a few tips
1. when getting eaten by the like like, count the 5 wobbles but then an additional 6th wobble (that doesn't actually happen), you should mount the control stick at a point just before when the 6th wobble would have happened
2. When feeding the horse, do not use a big horse, just use a regular one. In my experience, the big horse just walks into the apple and stops
3. When dropping the apple, try to exit the map menu and pause as quick as you can, I've had more success doing this than waiting for the 'precise moment' after exiting the map menu
4. use a bright bloom seed as your throw object when collecting the duped materials so that nothing bad happens if u accidentally throw it
5. The number of items duped depends on how many you are holding when you exit the item menu, so instead of alternatively increasing and decreasing the number of items every time you pause, you can decrease-increase in one pause cycle to always spawn 4 items

this might be a second on duplication glitches, y+b glitch is just to broke, but this one just requires a bit of skill and it produces really fast, while others like the tobio's chasm need a lot more preparation and resources, im going to give it a try tomorrow, thanks!

Idk if I just discovered something but here is the fact : when I was culled and I was at the bridge step, I tried the apple thing many times but my horse went in the water so I reloaded a save that was before I get culled. When I reloaded the save, I wanted to take a little break from the glitch and I flew. when I flew, my link was normal for about 0,5 seconds then the visual appereance of link stayed in place in the air until my camera (invisible link) got on the ground and when I watched a memory it got the "glitch" away
yes that´s normal, that is the glitch I talked about in the video where you can make friends with gloom hands!

A few times when i was using memories to get to the gate it would put me in a state where i was permanently culled. Watching another memory did not change it. but in the end the glitch worked.

You said you could keep duping and pick them all up at the end, instead of 3-4 at a time. Does that option max out at 21 or can you get 999 on the ground and start picking up?

Great! After 2 hours of trying, finally did it! Its not easy though
Congratz! yeah it´s not easy...
What I've learned:
- Rotate the camera to an angle that gives you a good view of Link's arms. You want to time your item menu pause for just about the exact moment his hands end up right at his side, from the holding animation of the previous try.
- Don't have the horse too close to the bridge. Twice, I got the perfect apple drop, and the horse had to circle it in order to reach it. Horse ended up stepping off the bridge, into the water, and couldn't reach the apple.
- Once you get across the bridge, and get into your throw-hold state, tape that R button down really well. Commit to duping everything you can, when you finally reach that state. Once you have the throw position, it's just a matter of +xa++xa++xa... And running around collecting.
- Save bombs and horse food for last. Bombs have a chance of exploding and throwing you out of the glitch area. Make sure you are standing back in the corner while spawning them, so if you take damage, you don't get thrown into the water. Apples, carrots, and anything the horse will eat, can cause the horse to come into the area with you. This makes it annoying because the mount prompt keeps coming up during the collection rounds. I've also had the horse push my target item into the water, which will ruin the glitch.

When I dropped the apple for the horse and it grabbed it I kept watching memories to get out of the cull zone but I couldn’t move anymore even when watching a memory

Also to get across the bridge, just never let yourself get into the cull state. Just watch a memory, move while exiting and instantly press minus and watch another memory again. Rinse and repeat

if anyone was wondering, you can accidentally spawn too many bomb flowers and explode yourself and die while doing this, but if the game autosaved during the process, continuing does Not break the glitch it just puts you right back with the bomb flowers

Hey i was just wondering, when i walk towards the gate i just get permanently culled, and even if i go directly to the + menu my character is still culled, i managed to get it ones but i accidently pressed x and put away the apple, is there a way to get unculled without watching memories, also the place where i cant get unculled is right before the bridge the flat piece of rock, after there it is culled land forever

@@ryanm.9396 lol As for the apple dropping part, I believe that part is heavily rng dependent, I would say after watching a memory, unpause, and wait a bit, like 0.5 seconds, (as long as you do it before Link becomes invisible), and pause again to hold the apple, it´s more likely that you success if you do late than if you do it too early, even if you get the apple blown away animation. What I mean is that, it´s better to get the scenario where you see the apple is blown away by the wind because that means you are close to doing it, than if you get other scenarios where Link appears holding the apple, it means you held it too early and you are not even close to success.
I saw your video on getting the phase state, but I just can't seem to get it.
I still get stuck on the bridge often. But I seem to have found decent timing on that.

Last couple times I get to the part when you trying to cross the bridge to become visible and it just get perma locked no matter how many memories I watch.

I will post a video about but this will solve the issue on the bridge.

Any idea what my problem is. After multiple attempts I get the 5th scenario. Te horse eats the apple. I rotate to face the door. I watch another memory and i re-appear for 2 seconds max but Im able to move twords the door a bit more. I watch another memory and again move closer to the door but still on the bridge. (Note: each time I see a drop zone circle). When I watch another memory and come back I never see myself anymore to move. This happened now redoing the process 3 times. What is causing me not to make it over the threshold? Any advice is appreciated.

Man all these dupe glitches are too hyper specific. I'd just prefer to play. If I die, I'll "get gud". 😉
The Oblivion glitch is still king.
I’ve never been so angry to see a blood moon before… while in the middle of duping when i finally hit this glitch 😂 then i realized that i can continue if i do the jump and hold item to throw thing

So if i go in the cull state, and after i duplicated my wanted items, switch to the cooked food tab it will quit the cull state? so it wont affect the game experience after i duplicated (except for the duplicated items obv)?
it has no side effects, after you switch tab, save and reload and it will be alright
Wonderful glitch, had the hardest time getting the likelike to eat Link at the right moment.
But once that was settled the rest wasn't too much of a problem.
Probably not worth it to duplicate anything less than a few hundred of something 🤣

I encountered a problem after my second attempt. After giving the horse the apple and trying to cross the bridge to the gate, you might get caught in a permanent cull state, regardless of how many times you see a memory. If this happens, just reload the save where the Likelike is and start the process over. DO NOT TRY TO FAST TRAVEL DURING THIS PERMANENT CULL STATE, IT WILL SOFT LOCK THE GAME!

One more scenario, after thousands of times trying to feed the horse at the right moment, you see the apple drop on the floor without flying, and horse try to fix his position to eat the apple, lightning suddenly hit's a tree next to the horse and electrocute the horse and the horse runs far far away.........

I'm not getting culled after i ascend. I get the correct camera behavior from the like like, and my ability wheel gets locked. I have the unbreakable master sword from your other video. Could that be messing me up getting culled?

scenario 7 the apple drops but goes to somewhere else and just wiggles and says goodbye😅
Scenario 7 after dropping apple in right place and it stays the horse walks laps around the apple never eating it until it gets stuck and stops moving and now the horse is out of position and despite getting the apple to stay in the right place again the horse ignores it. :D

yeah it´s ok to save, it´s just that when you restart you will have to start from the beginning

People figure this out by utilizing glitches others discovered. The like like cull glitch is well known, so you start with that. Then people experiment with what you can do once culled. Whoever figured out the like like cull trick is the real genius (or intense drug user).

Is it possible to switch items mid glitch? Like let’s say I’m duping diamonds but I get enough and want to start duping large Zonaite, how would i do this and is it possible or do I have to restart the glitch?

i have gotten stuck at the bridge more times than i can count. i’ve read every comment on this video and tried every solution suggested to me. my conclusion is that it’s simply luck. nothing else.
i’ve tried pressing (-) instead of (B) when exiting the memory menu. still got stuck
i’ve tried only taking one to two steps at a time after exiting the memory menu. still got stuck.
i’ve tried to release the left stick before getting reculled. still got stuck.
the only thing that had any noticeable effect is to walk across the bridge at an angle, just like yang does in the video. even then, i can only uncull one extra time before getting permanently stuck. i’m just gonna try again tomorrow

Ok I think the reason you get soft locked when moving to the gate is because if ur still holding the left stick forward AFTER getting culled you can't move for some reason. That means you have to be gentle and move link forward let go of the left stick and THEN link gets culled. Rinse and repeat until you past the red line.
i completed the bridge cross without letting go of the left stick then duped like 600 large zonite lol, you can hold it the entire time

After I got to the point to which you ascend up to the surface for some reason I'm not culledl after I get to the top.
try to watch a memory, it should get you culled
