1. If you are on versions prior to 1.2.0, i.e. 1.0-1.1.2, it seems that Link does not uncull after dropping the shield with fused control stick at 6:50, instead you get perman culled, I have test it on 1.1.2 and it´s true that you don´t get unculled, to avoid that from happeninng, there are two ways to deal with this:
Method 1: Do what @kvictor1931 has said, when you drop the apple, swap shield instead of drop the shield, then watch a memory, link to how it´s done

Method 2 (not recommended): after you are sent back to surface at 5:00, you should pick up the weapon and teleport to Rasitakiwak shrine (or any shrine near Tarry town) then come back and do the rest of the process (fuse the control stick to a shield, etc), also when you watch memory to drop the apple, you might need to watch more than 2 memories, just keep in mind after every watch, press B to exit the menu then enter the menu again. Finally, after you drop the shield with the control stick fused on it, you need to watch another memory, but this time Link will be unculled.
2. If after you mount on the control stick, and start falling, pressing B does not let you hop off, you can press X instead.
3. After you have done, if you want to cancel the state where you can not pick up items, do what @kvictor1931 wrote in the answers, "You can cancel it, by unholding all items, closing then reopening the menu, hold any item and close the menu again."
Should you use glider or walk?

Additionally, for 1.1.2 and below, instead of D-pad dropping the shield. D-pad swap the shield, then watch another memory. This should uncull link

Let's appreciate the fact that the sign blocks the door from opening, but when you unblock it, the door opens outwards anyway. So it shouldn't have been blocked to begin with.

The likelike cull is heaps easy, The trouble I have is dropping the apple at the right time lol.

It took a while to get the darn steering stick to fuse, but it worked! Remember to park your horse about where it is in the video, and not too far forward, or you’ll be too close to it when the apple falls and it either won’t eat it, or it’ll move to another position and screw things up. I found that out the hard way. But before I somehow accidentally unglitched myself and stopped being able to dupe, it was working wonderfully.

And then fail and make small mistakes 70 times over the course of 6 hours. I did just get it to work tho. Some notes from my failures.
Approaching the horse before holding something bricks your game
Keep the steering device just barley in the doorway
Make sure your horse is a few feet away from the fence or it’ll immediately eat the apple before it hits the ground which ruins the glitch for some reason

To stop the glitch and play normally, save, close the game, open the game, and click continue to pick up glitch free. If you don’t, you won’t be able to use your weapons
The hardest part was getting the steering stick to fuse, but otherwise pretty simple to do. People are making a big deal about it taking a ton of steps, acting like Nintendo hasn't tried their best to make this not possible lol. I messed up, and ended up re-culling myself after I pressed ZL and X, I never pressed R until I landed, and then I had to completely close the game and reload it from an autosave that happened just as I entered Tarry Town, thankfully. Thanks man, this is a good one. Also, if people are having an issue with the fuseing, I'm not sure if this is why or not, but backing out of the menu using the minus button, instead of B worked for me.
Edit: The second time I tried this, I went over to my invisible apple, NOT my shield. Pick up the shield and destroy the fused item. DON'T GET THE APPLE.
Edit 2: mentioned how to stop the dupe glitch at the top for those who, like me, otherwise wouldn’t know.
When we're done with the glitch, how do we "end" it to play the game as normal? Remove everything I'm holding?

Just confirming that this works! Took a lot of tries to get right, sort of like an old Mario game level, but finally did it!
I would note that one thing that tripped me up in the beginning was that I changed the button for Jump so I needed to press X when you said B and visa versa, but that's on me.

Anyone who wants to stop being "glitched" just stop holding the apple and the items you're duplicating. Then, hold any other 5 items(I did it with apples) and throw them on the ground. Finally, just pick them up again and that's it! You can play normally again. I apologize for my bad English

I just got this working after 2 hours so here are some notes for people who are still trying: 1. Don’t give up!
2. If you can’t get the control stick to uncull at the door, try unequipping all your armor, bows, and shields.
3. Don’t open any other menus while duping besides the item menu; sometimes I opened the save/load and it soft locked me
4. If you have strong fingers, hold R from the item pickup thing while in the menu and removing/adding items to save time from having to do the item pickup thing again.

If you're having trouble with this glitch or would like to know more about it and doing it in an optimal fashion, please read my tips below:
About the control stick fusing process:
This was noted in the videos, but I don't believe this has been given enough emphasis: Make sure the Hudson signs are out of the way when you do the fuse entanglement process. I'm not totally sure about the true, total impact of these signs in the process, but I can provide this brief anecdote: I was literally UNABLE to do this glitch without moving the Hudson signs and ensuring that Hudson's wife wasn't at the desk even after literally setting up a macro to spam Y as fast as possible after closing out the Purah Pad menu, but after making sure that these two factors were met, I was able to do it very consistently. I'm not totally sure if it's the Hudson signs or the presence of his wife or both, but either way, this is what I ensure when duping it.
Also, this brief bit isn't so important, but I thought I may as well note it anyway: you don't actually need to get out another control stick to unlock the ability wheel, since the only ability you need during the process is fuse, which you already have selected by default anyway. But I guess maybe it should be informed anyway in the extreme edge case where that one kid decided to select another ability.
About the horse/apple part of the setup:
1. Make sure the horse is far away enough from the position where you drop the apple. I learned this the hard way as my horse was accidentally a little too close to it, and the horse would infinitely try to walk to the apple to eat it, but was never able to do so. Give it room.
2. Make sure your sages are dismissed before you hold an item and subsequently get culled. This isn't super important, but I would just recommend it since they got in the way once.
3. If watching a memory after unholding the other item you held and holding the apple doesn't make the apple fall, be sure to watch another memory, go straight into the inventory, unhold and rehold the apple, watch another memory, and THEN press B to exit, and then the apple should drop. If not, repeat this process until it inevitably does. This is something I didn't see covered in any of the videos.
About the actual duping process:
1. Drop the apple in the opposite corner of the house that is created by the garden and the fence surrounding the house. I strongly recommend that you do NOT drop the invisible apple at the corner by the house, because not only does it make it likely that the duped items will spawn inside the stairs and such, it also, far more dangerously, makes it too easy to accidentally pick up the fuse entangled shield you dropped, and that will softlock the game. Don't ask me how I found out. Again, this is not something that was covered in any of the videos and I had to learn this the hard way.
2. Also, you only need two weapons and a shield (and a control stick), it doesn't matter if they're one-handed. Ok well actually, it may at least somewhat matter if the initial weapon you have equipped during the fuse process, but the second weapon does NOT need to be a one-handed weapon for a fact. I will confirm whether or not the first weapon needs to be one-handed or not later.
3. Also state that they can reclaim the weapons after they're done duping by canceling the hold storage state of Link, but when they do, make SURE to tell them to pick up the fuse entangled weapon first, since picking up the fuse entangled shield first will likely softlock the game as mentioned before due to the fact that the distance from the position in which you pick up the shield and the weapon is likely great enough to be culled and softlocked.
thanks. It is true that you don´t need strictly two one handed weapon, it is just easier to do this glitch using that type of weapon because when Link swings it, the animation is faster. I see you understand the fundamentals of this glitch, good job!
Tip: you can also make a dog eat the apple (there is one at Tarrey Town) when Link is invisible, so there is no need a horse

Nah you can do this glitch on any version as said and you have other glitches only on 1.1.2 (i think thats the version your on) and easier methods of glitches like fuse entanglement as the first thing of fusing the steering stick to a sword was actually fuse entanglement but a version called fuse storage fuse entanglement
im just gonna chill on 1.1.1 easiest dupe and weapon dupe too
After you get the control set ick it is really easy to perform and it is very helpful
Whatever you do, make sure when you drop the shield, don’t be so close to the horse to where you are crouched and not holding the apple, I found out the hard way and was stuck invisible unable to do anything

My mom accidentally updated my game, Thank you for this, I will try this
I was doing the ultrahand / fuse storage / control stick / room / dog eats the apple method and figured out two small but very VERY helpful things to know:
#1 you can recover from pressing R in the inventory screen and only have to back track a little bit.
I pressed R on inventory and lost the invisible apple. Then I pressed up d-pad and dropped an apple with X. This allowed me to pickup the culled controlstick fused weapon.
I was able to save.
I prop the door open with an apple and go outside and pickup the fused shield control stick.
I go back inside and drop the culled control stick fused weapon, hold an apple, and go back outside. I didn't have to start all over again!!!
#2 if link won't drop the apple for the dog, you can do something slightly different and watching the video will work:
If the watching the video doesn't Just go into inventory unhold the apple and hold it again while link is in the culled state. Press minus from the inventory screen and watch the video. This will drop the apple right away. (I'm tempted to not hold the apple until link is culled but haven't tried that variation.)

Holding the apple after link is culled and right after pressing hold, press minus to watch a video works the first time every time. No need to watch multiple videos to get the apple to drop

@@yanggaming3642 while not always necessary, having the control stick fused weapon in your inventory prevents link culling at the invisible border by the dog. So I now pick it up just to make sure I don't mess up picking up the shield.

The steering stick drops on its side or lands on the table behind me. Far from easy and it’s not consistent. Even when I make it to the horse part it fucks up.

At the end switching to a second version of the same weapon didn't work. Switching to the master sword (the only other one handed weapon) worked pretty easily.
I also realized that I wasn't manually selecting a one handed weapon the first time because I already had a one handed weapon. I think it was critical to select a one handed weapon after the fuse storage AND critical that I don't use the same kind of weapon to switch to later so the animation changes.
hii thanks for commenting, I just want to point out that I don´t think you need to manually select a one handed weapon at the fuse torage step, as long as you have equipped one it´s fine!
@@yanggaming3642I wasn't able to get it to work, not once, until I started switching weapons after selecting fuse.
I had to watch your video multiple times and even in your video you selected the weapon after selecting the fuse power. Once I noticed that, the process works consistently for me:
1. Ultra hand the control stick out of the room and back into the room, but not too far
2. Switch to fuse while ultrahand was still active
3. Switch to single handed weapon. (I believe the quick menu right dpad also works for this)
4. Press minus and watch a video. Skip the video and B to back out.
5. Press Y rapidly, as fast as possible and press b with the other hand. (I literally shake my arm. To vibrate the Y button faster than my finger can press it and that helps!)
6. Switch single handed weapons
7. Press minus and watch 2 videos skipping them. Press B to back out.
8. Switch single handed weapons
9. Press minus and watch 1 video, skip, and B to back out of the menu.
When I do this carefully my success rate is roughly 80% of the time. The only thing I seem to still sometimes fail is pressing y fast enough to get the fuse to trigger, but shaking my arm to press the button faster than my finger could helps a lot. Hard to describe, but my finger just isn't as fast as my arm is. If I do fail the first time, I usually succeed the second try now.

set up is long, and may take a couple tries, but doesnt look too difficult, and once the setup is done you can literally print items
Well it's super fast because it's actually faster than YB, and easy....well it's easier than fuckin like liek cull which was the older method
It just takes A LOT of practice. It took me 2 DAYS to pull it off. And it’s WORTH IT.
I've been getting better at it. Rapidly tapping y when coming out of the first video watching screen is the hardest part for me. The rest is pretty easy.
I haven't figured out how to make the recall cancel version work... I'm using the ultra hand to fuse storage, switching weapon, watching video method.

This isn't all that difficult compared to his newest video. Pretty much when you're about to fuse press plus, switch to another 1h weapon even if you have one equipped, press minus after equipping the sword from the main menu and watch a video. Right after mash Y, press minus, and do the double video trick to see if it works. One other thing is when you land in the water press b immediately. If you sink in the water oh well.

I dont think it works on 1.2.1 because it doesnt let you do the throw jump thing
It does work, I was having trouble making it work, but I realize that you have to press the up button AS SOON As Link's feet touch the ground. You still need to press ZL, jump and midair press R, you can mash up button, but it didn't work for me until Link's touched the ground. And when I mean as soon as he's feeto touch the ground I mean it, you can take the landing sound as an indicator. Hope it helps!

if you have a pro controller and you're having problems keeping your finger on R i suggest using some hair ties to the R button down

This does work though. It is an arcane process, but keep trying. I got in 1 try after losing clothes and shield
got the glitch to work and found a second glitch apparently, sometimes it wont spawn as a ridable steering stick and will just float in the air with no collision, i just un equipped and re-equipped it to get rid of the ghost stick, broke it down using the little goron dude then went back to step 1
hi, I have encontered it as well, but I think it is due to me not doing all the steps (forgetting watching memories when switch weapon, for example)

that´s really rare, by pressing B should let you hop off the control stick, I have never encontered this issue, I don´t really know

yes sure, it´s just that the regular fuse entanglement is much harder to do on 1.2.1
