I am so happy that you decided to make tutorials. I was always so busy working and paying off mortages and bills and building social security, I didn't know what was going on in the world. Snippets, snippet rolls, purses, shabby chic necklaces. I had no idea people would pay for that. And you are beautiful and charming. Thank you.
Traci, This bag is gorgeous. Love how you combine materials and jewelry bits. That peacock brooch is just the thing! I wonder if you get tired of hearing how amazing you are. lol We all love you! Every time I watch, I learn something new. I continue to be inspired by your techniques and perfect instructions. You are so very talented. You’ve said it a few times: nobody else does these tutorials, or even comes close to your fun, boho style. Girl, you’ve got the market cornered! Keep them coming! I’m addicted. 😊❤❤❤❤ Was chatting about you with a friend who works at the store I sold my drum bags at. She was encouraging me to make them again. Having to hand over 30-40% makes me cringe, though. 😬 Don’t want to do markets. Hmmmmm
You are the sweetest! Thank you so much for your support! Yes, handing over such a large percentage is hard! I always justified it by comparing it to having my own brick and mortar store with tons of overhead and time constraints of having to be there. 🤗😘💖
I like that you said to start with an inspiration piece. Sometimes i see a great fabric skirt or top but i don't need it for a project underway. Now i can think of it as inspiration for a new thing.
Traci, I believe we must be sisters by other Mothers, ha ha. Love the way your mind works. Would you share your pricing strategy? Since you were in business selling your purses for years I understand the pricing market changes but using thrifted items or stash items pricing can be flexible. Newcomers out there would not want to price themselves out of business but neither do they need to undervalue the items they craft, just because they use thrifted items. Perhaps sharing a range of prices that you sold your like items for would help. I just love watching your videos "Sis" as like minds think alike ha ha. Something you might like to try, also is saving your slivers of used soap to use in place of chalk to mark your patterns on velvet etc as they do not wipe off as easy as chalk but do come off easy when wet or rubbed.
This is making me think i could make this! What fun. Could you explain what you did with the 24" strip at the bottom? At the point of the bottom, stuff you cut off the overlapping fabric? Or fold it over and sew it down?
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BAG. I'VE BEEN SO WAITING FOR THIS TUTORIAL SINCE YOUR LAST TUTORIAL. AND OH BOY WAS IT SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 ON MY WAY TO YOUR NEXT TUTORIAL. THIS IS SOO BEAUTIFUL. OH MY WORD😁 THE EXCITEMENT IS OVERWHELMING. YOU MY FRIEND ARE AMAZING 👏👏👏👏👏
You sure mind a working on how too use or make what I need for the bags. I've been working on jewels that are just a stone. I've been crocheting covers for them . I've also been using the tear drop shape off of chandeliers. And started making all dollies in all shapes And trim tapes. Even a heart shape in baby pink then in leaf green. And crocheting roses and mini roses and buds. I've been untrusted too make a back pack for a man and a woman too she's up for funky ideas but he just a bag too pack things and that will hold up well.

Pricing is a very difficult subject as there are soooo many variables. I just always suggest doing your market research.🤗💞💞💞💞
I adore you … try using the word we instead of I . It will include the audience ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This looks about $250.00. How did you price to sell and make a profit?
I didn't have a formula for pricing, I just new what I needed to sell them for to make it worth my while.🤗❤❤❤
