You’ve become so important to millions of us offering vital advice daily- but what I most adore is your heart is genuinely still filled with childlike whimsy. We see it in your home decor and Christmas ornaments. And every time we accompany you shopping, you’re drawn to all things cute and sweet. Please don’t ever (entirely) grow up. 😊❤
I went to the Teso in Dallas recently and loved it. Crazy to see sunscreens like Biore and Skin Aqua on actual shelves in front of me. I’m so used to having to order them online.
@@coffee_2234Exactly!! I saw romand, dasique, Jung Saem Mool, TirTir, and more when I went! And they had Chinese makeup I wanted to try - it was unbelievable to see these Chinese products on the shelves in person. I didn’t know there was such a place that sold these 😅
I went to Japan in March and they had some good shampoos and conditioners, too. I even saw some Pantene products they don't sell anymore in the USA that are still sold in Japan.
Hi Dr. Dray, Just a funny petrolatum success story: Because of the heat wave we’re having my bedroom door must have swelled and I couldn’t close the door. I gave it a good shove closed last night because I didn’t want my air-conditioning to leak out of the room. Well, this morning I couldn’t open the door. I literally pulled and pulled for at least 10 minutes and couldn’t get out. Then it came into my head to spread petrolatum along the top seam of the door and wait until it melted. And voila the door opened. So thank you Dr. Dray for recommending petrolatum!, It literally saved the day!
😂😂 should have put some on your feet as well what's a pair of socks since you had to wait 10 minutes. Glad you got out although I don't know who would want to go out into the heat right now
We watch so many different types of self help videos but by far we find your videos the most useful. You are also funny and entertaining. Thanks for all you do!
Wow this store is AMAZING! We have some Japanese grocery stores in Hawaii but this one looked huge. While I loved the tour, I was wanting more Japanese skincare recommendations.
I live in a town of 4000 in Maine and buy a lot on line. I wish I could just go to a store and walk the isles. Thanks for taking me with you!!! Many blessings!!!💖💖💖
What a fun store!! I could spend a few hours there. I wish there was one in my area. Maybe it's a good thing that there isn't because I would spend way too much money. Adorable toys too and I absolutely love the miniature rooms. So much detail. Thanks for showing us this unique store. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a blessed evening. 💛
The CoQ10 hand cream and the Urea hand creams are my absolute favorites...l I have back ups for my backups… I would go to TX just to visit this store!! 😊
What a fun vlog! How neat. I especially enjoyed looking at the miniature rooms of the miniature house! Those are so cool. I took my niece & nephew to an Asian food/drink store once & now they always want to go back!! 😊❤
Japan and the rest of Asia do have a lot of those patches for aches and pains (like for arthritis, post-injury, bad period back aches etc.), and besides making them warm/hot/burning (yes, burning), some of them have some medical ingredients added to them to give pain relief. But the is a huge variety and is a staple for many older folks esp those suffering from chronic rheumatoid arthritis. However, more and more younger gens are using them too for pain relief, but they tend to hide those patches more so as not to be seen as "old school" or uncool.🤣
Look for your nearest Mitsuwa, Tokyo Central or Nijiya Market. I think Marukai was bought by Tokyo central so no more of those. If you live really south south California, then you might be out of luck. Online would be the best then.
1:38 i actually bought the moisturizer peach it good water cream barrier of course it does has fragrance but i like the peach smell and water cream texture
Definitely try the Shiseido Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner in either the gold bottles or the black bottles. Has been my favorite for so many years and never disappoints. The fragrance is also amazing
Thanks for this lovely tour Dr. Dray! 🥰 We have something similar to that where I live outside of Japan. It is called Don Donki and we have a Matsukiyo. I find it too overwhelming because of the many products to choose from.
I went to one near Dallas today and I was SO overwhelmed. I didn't know what would be worth trying. Grabbed a few sunscreens I've heard you recommend, the Torriden Solid In Lip Essence, and one of the minitures because they were SO cute.
Oh, that store is really close to Daiso. I need to try out Teso the next time I visit HalfPrice Books in Westchase. There’s also a little Japanese grocery store in the same area.
Have you been to Bunny Tea? It's down Bellaire but not quite as far as the tropical drink place you showed on another video They have great sparkling fruit drinks.
I bought that hair oil @4:57 before yesterday! i heard so many good reviews about it and thought i would give it a shot. can’t say anything about it yet but boy does it smell great
Yesss most of them were comparable and also some even lower!! I went there this weekend and they were having a “Buy one, get one” deal with some acnes labo products. They also had sales on some eyeshadow palettes. It was soooo good!
Stylevana and Yesstyle totally price up. And what's even more interesting is some japanese brands are 50% cheaper in Japan, not including currency exchange. Koh Gen Do here sells foundation for $85-$90. In Japan, it's $35-40. Koji eyeliner I can't find below $21, while in Japan, it's mostly $7-8. For me, it's worth to have shipping forwarder in Japan because with the product price+shipping would be still cheaper than buying it here.
Can you do a similar video at your local indian grocery for the skincare aisle? Ingredients/packaging is usually in English so you can share your recommendations! ❤
There’s been chatter of a lot of people having their YesStyle and Stylevana packages held by customs recently because the manufacturers aren’t registered with the FDA. Not just SPF but any cosmetic. It seems to be related to parts of MOCRA finally going into effect.
Good to hear! I got orders from both a few months ago with no issue either. There are a few Reddit threads on the issue but… it’s Reddit so the posts may not be giving the whole picture.
I am waiting for two orders from Yesstyle right now that were shipped over 4 weeks ago and USPS has a tracking number but no info besides that. I am thinking they are being held up.
OMG - I can’t believe the store played both FEVER & LUCIFER by ENHYPEN????? The immaculate TASTE?! ✨ Also - how incredible is this place - there was so much fun stuff there!! Thanks for taking us for a little tour with you!
Yeah I went there this past weekend and WOW this store is even better than I thought. They sell not only Japanese, but Korean AND Chinese cosmetics. It was incredible 😮
Interesting! I didn’t realize Daiso had locations in Australia. 😮 We have Daiso in the USA too but it’s quite different from this store. While Daiso carries cheaper and more general dollar store-ish items, this store had a lot more high-end products in there and a huge range of cosmetics. I’ve been to many Daiso USA locations and thought this store would be similar to them but it’s soooo much more different than I thought 😅So many options that it was almost overwhelming! But great store.
Update: Ok I went and it was amazing. They sell not only Japanese, but also Korean, Chinese, and French cosmetics. Some notable brands include Flower Knows, Judydoll, Flortte, rom&nd, amuse, Jung Saem Mool, dasique, IntoYou, 3CE, and cle de peau 😅 It was incredible. Though they were sold out of some very popular items including the &honey shampoo and conditioner bottles, as well as the judydoll mascara 😢 They were having a buy one get one free deal for some acnes labo products, and apparently the IntoYou eyeshadow palette I bought was on sale?? I didn’t even know until I came to the register 😂 Anyway worth it and 10/10. Some prices were even cheaper than online and most prices were comparable to online sites such as YesStyle and Stylevana. I didn’t even get to see the whole store after being in there for an hour and a half because there was so much to see!! And when you purchase, they give your items to you in a really nice quality thick reusable bag for free.
FYI, Teso Life is Chinese owned/managed company selling “Japanese” products. 😃 Talented entrepreneur and founder Andy Lin (from Fuzhou, China), his brother/staff arrived on tourist visas.
True! I went this past weekend and found they also have Korean and Chinese cosmetics. I was stunned especially since I never thought I would see a place selling actual Chinese makeup on the shelves!! I even saw some French items there which shocked me even more 😂
I have a question about dry shampoos, so if they aren’t safe to use for multiple days in a row is there a way to make them safe for weekly/daily use or is it just a given that they’ll never be safe for frequent use?
I go to the one in Carrollton Tx and I go ham on the snacks 😅 I would like to try some beauty care products but I can’t read them and translate isn’t always accurate and it’s always packed so I don’t wanna stand in the way of anyone 😔
send me some of the hado labo red line please! and some Curel Please. My skin loves it and keep going back to it. We need one of these stores in Pa. Close to my house please. loved the mini house themes an amazing store!

Such a lovely and very true comment ❤❤❤
Very well said.
Translation: Please don't get old & bored with everything. 😊
Who doesn't love Hello Kitty??
What a playground for skincare lovers!
They have a great selection
I can totally get immersed in stores like this! In the SF/Bay area, we have several like this, Candy Doll Beauty and The Face Shop, to name a couple.
It is!! Because of this video I went and visited and it was beyond my imagination and even what she was able to show here. 😮
What I wouldn’t give to have a store like that near me !! Thank you Dr Dray for taking us along on a great Sunday shopping trip! ❤
I went to the Teso in Dallas recently and loved it. Crazy to see sunscreens like Biore and Skin Aqua on actual shelves in front of me. I’m so used to having to order them online.

how can that be legal? when they have filters that aren't legal here?
@@amandak.4246I’ve wondered the same thing
I went to Japan in March and they had some good shampoos and conditioners, too. I even saw some Pantene products they don't sell anymore in the USA that are still sold in Japan.
Oh how I wish we had this store!
They also have dove facewash which i didn't know it exsisted untill i went recently to my teso life store and they were selling it
Thank you for taking us shopping!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, what a great store, so well stocked and organized.

You were a prisoner in your own home for 10 minutes and petrolatum to the rescue! 😅
😂😂 should have put some on your feet as well what's a pair of socks since you had to wait 10 minutes. Glad you got out although I don't know who would want to go out into the heat right now
😂😂
Japanese packaging is so much fun 🤩
What a great store , you showed some things I’d like to try! Thanks for taking us along!❤️

The miniature houses were adorable; thank you for showing close-ups of them!
They have so many neat options
The CoQ10 hand cream and the Urea hand creams are my absolute favorites...l I have back ups for my backups… I would go to TX just to visit this store!! 😊
Oooh good to hear! Because of this video, I went to that location and bought both these products 😂 can’t wait to try 😊
I like u visiting all sorts of shops. It's like u're touring as to see new products❤❤
Happy Sunday Dr Dray so excited to be here I live for this ❤️
Morning!
@@DrDrayzday ❤
I love the Japanese Nivea Super Water Gel SPF 50. PA +++
More of a commuter type SPF but reapplies flawlessly. Nice finish.
Ok at 3:28 second shelf from the bottom unlabel lab vit c 15 essence is awesome. Water, glycerin, DPG, 3-glyceryl ascorbic acid, pentylene glycol, sodium citrate, ascorbyl tetrahexyldecanoate, citric acid, tocopherol, inulin, coptis root extract, polyglyceryl-10 oleate, BG, xanthan gum, 1,2- Hexanediol, sodium pyrosulfite, phenoxyethanol
Thank you for taking us shopping with you ❤
Obsessed with this video and you! I’m so pumped to find out what did you acquire eventually ❤
There are sooooo many things to look at at this store. Last time I went, I was so overwhelmed. Almost too much.
So true!! I was there twice for a total of an hour and a half. Wasn’t enough for me to even look through four aisles of the entire store 😂
I totally love dollouse miniature stuff!
love your videos dr dray!
since we’ve entered summer, it would be amazing if you can make an updated video of the best BODY sunscreens !!
What an interesting store that we wouldn’t have ever visited if not for you!!! Thank you for helping us learn & experience new things!!!
Agreed! I visited this store because of her video and it was so cool.
Wish we had these Asian stores that sell skincare in Florida.
Live in H-town. What an incredible selection of products. Placed on must go list. TFS!
Oh my god that was amazing Doctor Andrea 😊❤. Thank you for showing us such a wonderful and magical place ❤.
So much fun stuff
What a fun vlog! How neat. I especially enjoyed looking at the miniature rooms of the miniature house! Those are so cool. I took my niece & nephew to an Asian food/drink store once & now they always want to go back!! 😊❤
Such a fun video! Thank you Dr. Dray ♡
Longtime fan of the vlogs ❤

I used to use the patches but they weren't great to stay on moving joints. They are coming out with spray versions and creams and I love those.
Wish we had one in Southern California!! Thank you for taking us with you!!!❤❤❤
If you drive up to Torrance about 1 or 2 hours away (it’s right outside LA) they have tons of Japanese stores due to the big Japanese community there.
Look for your nearest Mitsuwa, Tokyo Central or Nijiya Market. I think Marukai was bought by Tokyo central so no more of those. If you live really south south California, then you might be out of luck. Online would be the best then.
Those displays are so cute!
Enjoying the vlogs alot

So cool ! It’s a huge store ! Wish there was one in the Las Vegas area. Happy Sunday ! 😃😃

The choice of music was so good!! 🔥 🤘🏽
My girlfriends all say my skin is so soft. Thank you, Dr. Dray.
I actually prefer J Beauty over Al beauty. The Hada Labo Premium Lotion and the Cleansing Oil are still my favs after 5 years of hard core skincare.
Thank you again! How could you resist not buying everything? They all looked so tempting!😂
17:28 i remember when i saw this for the first time i was chuckling because of how funny the packaging was
Happy Sunday! I'm jealous.....I'd love to have this store in Quebec City!
It's so good!

I bought that hair oil @4:57 before yesterday! i heard so many good reviews about it and thought i would give it a shot. can’t say anything about it yet but boy does it smell great

What's up with the skincare prices. They were better than Stylevana or Yesstyle.

I am in love with this store! So much fun stuff
I gotta check out the big H-Mart. There’s a Teso Life coming to the northern suburbs.
Will be drooping by Teso on next Houston trip.

Miley heart of glass playing in the back. I’m so into this place now

Also the skincare aisle is usually tiny lol 😉 it will be a quick and sweet one 🕜 thank you Dr dray!
The Pringles pizza flavor chips taste exactly the same as the Pizzeria chips did (just different texture obviously).

True!! I drove down there from Austin this past weekend and WOW it was so amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you ever go to Houston anytime 😊
This was so fun! I would have an absolute field day in that store.
I am so jealous. Upstate New York could never. *cries*
That whole store is a dream!

There is a super high demand for Japanese products in the US. Whoever jumps on the trend now can get rich
Good morning Dr ❤
Morning
They have a large array of products but I wish they’d translate a lot of the product directions into English.
Yep, I will head over and check this store out. But, it seems like lots of hit or miss since I can’t read the packaging.
I was there on wednesday! I love it so much
Ayy I was there this weekend 😊 I also really liked it!!!
i've never heard of that store before, i am jealous!
Thanks for another great video! Can you please review the laboratoire acm dépiwhite advanced intensive anti-brown spot cream.
That's a haven for all things Japanese! Love it!

Haba is my favorite Japanese brand!
I need to head to that one. That’s on Westhemier right?
Yes it is!! I went this past weekend and it was so good. Highly recommend 😊
There's so many things i want to try from teso, but i cant read the packages 😅
I like nato as well 💕💃💕
I have a question about dry shampoos, so if they aren’t safe to use for multiple days in a row is there a way to make them safe for weekly/daily use or is it just a given that they’ll never be safe for frequent use?
I didn't know she lived in Houston. I just googled this place and it it literally ten minutes from me. Had no idea it even existed lol
Lol right I thought she lived in Dallas. This store is awesome, I went this weekend 😅 Definitely go if this is your cup of tea 😊
I go to the one in Carrollton Tx and I go ham on the snacks 😅 I would like to try some beauty care products but I can’t read them and translate isn’t always accurate and it’s always packed so I don’t wanna stand in the way of anyone 😔
