See, I knew you'd impart great wisdom in answering my question, so thank you! And yeah, it's Florida Gators rock...maybe not so much in football lately, but we are a proud lot!
Hey! That was a water heater, not a fridge. :-) Thanks for a good video Todd
Yep, just replaced my regulator at the tank a few months back. My Dometic was working great on 110v but not so great on propane. Still working but eventually only cooling to about 54°-55°. For mine, the regulator did the trick. Back to an average 30°-35°.
Good evening from Delaware
Great Tip AS always Todd!!!!
As always, Great video Todd! 🎥…❤️🔥
Keep them all safe out there my friend! 🇺🇸
Todd's tips are top's on Tuesday's, that's what I always say. Inverter question, if I have my inverter turned on and decide to start the generator or plug into a shore power post is it dangerous or bad for my equipment if I forget to turn the inverter off before powering up using these other 120V AC sources? Thanks in advance!
Easiest solution is rip that propane fridge out and replace it with a 12 volt compressor fridge. 😂 Eliminate that propane fire hazard and get better cooling too! Plus it has lots more interior space. Best upgrade I ever made to my RV. It's been running continuous for 3 years now off my solar system, and never run out of propane. 😊
I have to drain my propane lines about 2 times a year. Some how gets oil in it and the fridge won’t work on propane. Several low point drains and it’s good as new
Hi Todd. Really appreciate your videos. My question is on my battery bank. I have a 5th-wheel w/ 540ah of battery, & an Onan 5500 genset. My Victron system reports the battery bank's state of charge in percentage. I'm wondering at how low of a percentage will I still be able to start my genset. Thanks in advance. Mucho. BGC
hey Todd always great advice. We were camping with our son in-laws parents recently our campers are almost the same age and he mentioned that he had to replace the heating element last year and asked if we keep our water heater on all the time when camping. He said they only turn it on when they need it and then turn it off. We were wondering if that is harder on the element having to heat all the water up every time. I leave mine on unless we go away then I turn that and the water off just in case we have a leak and it seams to me that it doesn't have to work as hard to maintain. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
once your water heater readers it set temp it will shut off and on. So it is already running off and on 24X7. I personal turn my off and only have it on in the morning to take a shower and then I turn it off.
