87 topps ain't worth much but some great rookies that year and very nostalgic for sure. Rookies for Bonds, Bo, Mcgwire (I think that's considered a rookie even though he has the USA team card), Mcgriff, Barry Larkin, Will Clark, Palmeiro. I doubt there's another year with better rookies. Also I'd be kind of annoyed as a seller when people come around with a cam on but you seem pretty fair and treat everyone well. I think the really cheap re-sellers give others a bad rep. If you see this, what app are you using for sold prices? Thanks!
To be honest with you, 95% of the time people don’t even notice that I’m wearing a camera on my chest. As for the boxes, 1987 is a great year for baseball rookies. It’s a fun to open. I’m using eBay sold comps for pricing.
This was in Virgina. It wasn’t a shop. They do what they call a 100 miles highway sale. For three days there are pop up events all over the 100 mile event. This was a pop up card stand. The guy doesn’t have a shop but he said he does setup a card shows.
That's a great question. What I collect and hold long term would be two different things. What I collect is about what I love not always about value. I personally collect cards from Philadelphia Sports Teams. I like Boxing, UFC, and Wrestling cards. I also like weird and off the wall stuff. I would love to get the sandlot insert cards from 2018 Topps Archives. I love vintage Wrestling cards. As for long term hold. I don't believe and buying and holding any of the current rookies. It would be more profitable for me to buy them and flip them now. I would rather flip them over and over Instead of holding them long term. Majority of the rookies don't pan out after a few years. If I buy and hold anything it's usually hall of famers like Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Barry Sanders, Mickey Mantle, etc. Those markets seem to be more stable than current stars. Those are my long term holds but they are always for sale at the right price. One thing I learn from being a reseller is that you can always make money by flipping fast. I rather take the Fast Nickel or the Slow dime any day.

@@billysikes1374 Bowman Brady rookie was def real. I didn’t look long enough at the Jordan rookie to be able to give you an opinion on it. I will say that I think it was real. Leaving that Mosaic behind was a mistake. Wish I had sales like this around me!
